I had went in when they first opened shop and it had only saltwater on the left, now they have expanded the right side of the store to freshwater and I am pretty excited about that. As someone who only works with freshwater, it's really exciting to have a local store instead of supporting big chains like petco and petsmart. I'm really looking forward to the day I get to stop by and choose my betta for my new set up! I also wanted to include that they have a few nano tank setups on display with some cute shrimp and some guppies! They have just about the same inventory as a chain store that you would buy from, if anything, more than that! The bettas were listed as $20 but I'm not sure if that applies to all of them on display. Expect to get a four part answer to any equipment/setup question you ask; the most expensive option, middle of the road option, the budget/diy option, and Chris's personal perspective given the pros and cons of each. If you're new to the hobby, this goes a long way. It's easy to spend a lot of money in this hobby, but given the affordable prices on quality fish/equipment here and the priceless knowledge Chris gives out for free, it's a great place to start. Chris was super knowledgeable and gave all the instructions on what we would need to do to take care of the new puffer fish that we bought.
