I cannot recommend Jared's Aquarium Service enough! I recently had to move my setup, and Jared went above and beyond the standard cleaning. Not only did he do an incredible job servicing the tank, but he also helped me physically transfer the entire system to my new unit. Moving a tank is incredibly stressful, but he handled everything with such care and professionalism. A few highlights from my experience: Expert Knowledge: Jared provided amazing education and information throughout the process. I learned more about my water chemistry in one hour than I have in the last year! Crystal Clear Results: My tank has literally never been this clear. The water is pristine, and the glass is spotless. Happy Fish: You can genuinely tell the fish are much happier and more active in their refreshed environment. I am so impressed that I've already signed up for monthly maintenance to keep things looking this good. If you care about your fish and want someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile, Jared is your guy! read more

I called Jared to help me get my 75 gallon back in shape. It was looking a little rough from not getting the attention it deserved for the past few months and the filter hadn't been looked at in over a year. (I know! ) Jared was super communicative, professional, and kind. He did an amazing job getting my tanks to be something I enjoy looking at again and he even politely answered my rapid fire fish questions and discussed stocking with me. Will definitely be using his services again and recommend him to anyone looking for some fish help! read more

Jared is a very professional person. When I arranged a time for him, literally, he rings the doorbell at exactly that time even when I'm hoping he's late. I'm not sure if he's watching Netflix in his car but damn. I normally do my own tank but I have been complacent due to work, travels, and whatever other excuses I have but I asked him to clean it up. He has his vision and he worked with what I originally had and spent tedious time on my tank. This is not his daytime job so I appreciate someone who is actually dedicated to something they love rather than a job. read more

Jared was quick to respond, was able to reschedule sooner than we originally booked, and was on time. His cleaning of our 20 gallon tank was amazing and he was so full of knowledge around why our tank might've been so cloudy and the types of fish we had in there. He had great suggestions for how to arrange our tank and small additions to make it look better. You can't find anyone else so friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to having him clean again. read more

Jared has come to my condo several times to help me trouble shoot problems I've had with my aquarium. You would think keeping 4 goldfish would be a snap. Oh no, you'd be wrong. There's a lot to learn about their survival that can't be gleaned from the internet. Jared knew the answers and helped me implement the solutions. The latest issue was an overgrowth of a strange, persistent algae. Jared's fees are reasonable and he's always been prompt. He has a caring attitude not only about my fish but also about me. I've had Jared's service cleaning my home aquariums every month for over one year now and I'm completely happy with him! I have a 55 gallon tank and a 16 gallon tank for fresh water fish. He is friendly. He takes time to explain what kinds of things help or harm the fish. He gives recommendations for creating a more dynamic appearance and for new fish additions. He periodically redesigns my aquarium plant and decoration layout at my request to keep it interesting and new. He even came with me to the fish store to help me pick out new fish additions. After every cleaning, he always waits to make sure the fish adjust well to the new water conditions. He also keeps a schedule so he lets me know when it's time for another cleaning so that I don't have to worry about any of it. All my friends always enjoy looking at my aquariums and kids love the fish! Before Jared, i had been getting service by one of the bigger aquarium maintenance companies and i always felt like they didn't value my business or that I wasn't a priority for them to be scheduled because they had bigger accounts with businesses and saltwater fish. Jared is fantastic and personable. He earns and deserves my business. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a freshwater home aquarium expert! read more

I was desperate to find somebody to clean my 30 gallon tank. It's difficult to find someone with a business such asJared's that services residences and smaller than commercial tanks. I only found one store that I went through and they said they couldn't service anything under $250. My old tank cleaner basically ran in and ran out of the house and my tank was so dirty when he left that it took a day for all of that dirt to settle back into the gravel. So I guess I would have called him a fish tank half-assed runaway. Jared is completely the opposite. He really loves aquariums and its inhabitants. He's also passionate about the appearance of the items in the tank to be shared the fish. It's much more than cleaning to him. And he doesn't leave any fish crud behind. It's been a lifelong passion and he pretty much knows everything about those residential tanks and can make recommendations for anything that you need or want. He's friendly and professional. He does this as a fun side business to his regular career which is substantial. So you know that he's going to take really good care of you. I have a 30 gallon tank and it's $60 a month. He even went with me to the cool fish store around the corner from me and helped me pick out some fish and tank adornments. So use him! !! Dori read more

I never thought i would need outside help with my tank maintenance but when the fry were born i quickly realized i needed a skilled hand to assist me. Jared was there for me and my fry! He is very skilled in what he does. He has a knack for helping even the most forgotten and abandoned tanks look wonderful again. I was terrified i was going to lose babies. I was sure of it, but he was very careful in avoiding where the babies were taking refuge and cleaned slowly. My tank looks amazing now and we couldn't get to all the gravel! Learned a few things about my fish as well during his visit. I will be rethinking my tank! Thats for sure! Thank you Jared for your help today! I could not have done it without you! read more

My aquarium and poor goldfish were in dire need of help. After an initial (and hasty!) arrangement with a neighbour fell through, I had a couple of good choices for professional aquarium service, and since Jared was available almost immediately, I went with him. Right away it was evident that he is knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of your aquarium life. He does not simply go through the motions; rather, he paid attention to details - it felt like a personalized project even though it was just a maintenance issue. He came prepared, efficiently restored our aquarium with enthusiasm, and was keen on being kept updated on our fish's progress. Thanks to him, Lecinda the goldfish is happily swimming around in a pristine tank. We certainly intend to use him for all our future aquarium issues, and feel confident about referring him to anyone else who needs aquarium services. read more
