All was well until the merger with Twinstar. To say that I no longer wish to bank here is an…read moreunderstatement. I haven't been able to access my accounts and then my account went past due, and when speaking on the phone to anyone who could help me, it was a different answer and a different process EVERY time we spoke to anyone. Fast forward to calling out of desperation and not wanting our account to get behind further, Member Services transferred me to Collections and instead of understanding our frustration and realizing there was a technical problem with our account, we were threatened by Trent. He talked down to us and was a jerk (trying to not be rude here). I will NEVER recommend this credit union to anyone I like or even people I don't like. NO ONE deserves to be treated this poorly! If I could I would rate this a -5 stars!

No other bank ive ever had would hold it as long as they do and collect that much in late charges. Most of them if the check clears wolnt hit you with endless overdrafts because the check is in there. So if you enjoy paying 4x more than you should this is the scamming bank for you. If pay lands on a holiday they get to hold that against you too... this credit union is PURE EVIL!!! Avoid them like the plague!!!

I'm a business attorney. My clients routinely ask me where they should bank. I am never going to…read morereccoemnd B of A again. In fact I'm going to tell them to stay far away after today. This week, B of A's online system is terrible and their in-person bankers at this location in particular are shoddy. In this case, the online system could not process a very simple business banking account. The bank required an in-person ID verification. The bank never told her this, she had to proactively call and find out this information. The banker, Brice, required her to set an appointment after a week of flailing and inaction. However, Brice failed to ask my client to bring in all the paperwork he would need to see, and as a result my client could not open her account. Brice refused to take responsibility. He was only interested in telling us about bank policy. B of A is terrible in its own right, and this branch is not up to the professional standards of even the smallest businesses. If this is how they act when they're trying to earn someone's business it's hard to imagine how they'll treat customers from whom they receive no immediate benefit. Take your business elsewhere.

I walked in here last week to make a deposit into a friend's account to help her out. I didn't…read morethink this would be terribly difficult or time consuming. This would be where I first went wrong in thinking. This was supposed to be a pretty straightforward exchange. You take my money, put it in this account, give me a receipt I can show her, and off we go. Everyone has a great day. It's not that simple here. I walked in here with cash in hand, which was my first mistake. Who knew walking into a bank with cash in hand was a problem? You'd think they would want to take my money. I get stopped by a guy who may have been the manager, or resident bouncer. I'm not sure, as he gave off the impression of being more of a bouncer than anything. Which was hard to take him seriously when he's my height. He wasn't wearing a name tag, so I have no idea what his actual name was. He asked me if he can help me. I need to make a deposit, I have the account and routing number, name, everything. Simple transaction. He launches into a five minute speech about how if I'm not a member, I can't deposit cash into a member's account. OK, I can live with that. He starts rambling off the numerous other forms of deposits they'll take. Check, money order, bla bla bla. I zoned out once I decided I was writing a check. I said I would write a check. Which should be the end of this conversation. We've come to an agreement on what form of my money they will take, so we can continue the transaction. Unfortunately, Mr. Yappy Bouncer was so consumed by his efforts to provide "customer service" that he just kept talking. Instead of accepting that I said I would write a check and starting the deposit slip, he launches into another speech about places where I could get a money order nearby. Finally I get annoyed, as I have places to be, and listening to his speeches that didn't apply to me wasn't where it was at. I had to cut him off by saying once again, I'll write a check. Finally, he starts a deposit slip. Then drags me over to an actual teller. I had to basically stand in the doorway of the bank to listen to all of his speeches. Once I get to a teller, I ask him to confirm the account number matches the name of my friend. I don't want to deposit money into an incorrect account. He says yes. Which is almost the extent of our conversation. He deals with it while I stand there bored and wondering if we're done, and he's expecting me to leave, but I needed a receipt. Especially after dealing with Mr. Yappy Bouncer. I didn't have a lot of faith in this place. The teller finally gives me a receipt, and smiles a half/fake smile. No thanks, have a nice day, nothing. Him nodding and saying yes when I asked to confirm the correct account was literally the only word he spoke during that process. Finally, I'm bored, tired, and annoyed at how difficult this transaction was. I just want to get the hell out and get on with my day. No, Mr. Yappy Bouncer has to stop me again on my way out the door to to make his pathetic attempt at more "customer service" by saying if I ever needed anything, feel free to stop in again and see him. Um, no. No thanks. This could have been a much higher rated review, had he not been so focused on attempting customer service and coming across as more of a corporate puppet. He couldn't accept a cash deposit. OK, I can live with that. It's annoying, but not the end of the world. Gives me other options, I pick the easiest for me, and move on. It was when he just kept talking that I got annoyed. We solved the problem. No need to keep running your mouth and prolonging it any more. I didn't really care that the teller was anti-social either. Could've lived with that too. It was Mr. Yappy Bouncer that killed it for me. Would I return? Not even to make another deposit. I'll go find a different Chase location if I have to. But I would go out of my way not to have to encounter him ever again. Review 37 of 2017
