While I won't mention their names here, this team is a class act with the very best in customer service. They have not only been able to take care of all of my banking and financial needs, after a recent medical incident, I received a get well card with personal notes signed by each and every staff member. If you wonder if this review is for real... go into Citizens Springfield with this review, and I bet they know who wrote it! :) Citizens Bank, Springfield Branch gets 5 stars for customer service, professionalism, and great business with a wonderful, old-fashioned personal touch. He went to look to see the availability of the various size boxes and never came back to the phone at all. After 31 minutes of music (while I cleaned out my desk), I decided that this was NOT a bank from which I could expect much. Going to bank elsewhere!

So: A credit union takes your money as a long term CD, making money off of you, then threatens to charge you every 6 month for inactivity?? AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE. There is zero laws in Oregon in which a financial institution attempts to charge fees to customers with fixed accounts which they are already making money off of! I haven't been able to access my accounts and then my account went past due, and when speaking on the phone to anyone who could help me, it was a different answer and a different process EVERY time we spoke to anyone. Fast forward to calling out of desperation and not wanting our account to get behind further, Member Services transferred me to Collections and instead of understanding our frustration and realizing there was a technical problem with our account, we were threatened by Trent. He talked down to us and was a jerk (trying to not be rude here). I will NEVER recommend this credit union to anyone I like or even people I don't like. NO ONE deserves to be treated this poorly! No other bank ive ever had would hold it as long as they do and collect that much in late charges. Two weeks later I wrote back to them to find out the reason for the delay. I did not get a response to that email message. Are you kidding? Unbelievable! I ended up getting my home loan from Wells Fargo where I received absolute top notch customer service from the beginning of the process to closing. I am appalled at the lack of customer service at SELCO.
