I'm incredibly thankful for Jason's prompt response and for arranging for William to come to my home on a Sunday. He arrived quickly and safely removed a baby rattlesnake. With a small dog at home--and being very afraid of snakes--I truly appreciated their fast, professional service. I highly recommend them! read more

I posted on this before, so I was extremely impressed with the speed and professionalism involved with this rattler extraction. I have a dog and didn't need any extra drama, so we got the intruder rounded up and placed in his traveling bucket , home was checked for any others and a repellent was put down to add for another visits. Recommend HIGHLY on speed and professionalism involved and haven't seen any since! read more

Spring of 2024 we were recommended OC Snake Removal & Deterrent by a past client in our community. We live in Ladera Ranch and have a huge snake issue. In the past 3 years we've had several rattlesnakes in our backyard, and it was time to have something done. We had Jason out for a snake removal and survey on what we could do to mitigate this snake problem. He and his crew installed a snake fence that has worked great. Fast forward a year later and we've had zero snakes and are back to enjoying our backyard with our kids and dog. Our experience was professional, fairly priced, well communicated and the work done was fantastic. Thanks again! read more

After calling , jason came by the same day to inspect our property and give us a quote. within a week he and dylan thoroughly snake proofed our yard and back gate and put out snake repellent. We haven't had a snake since and we can now let out our small dog calvin to potty and play in the yard! read more

Hi all! I'm not a big review person, but I had to give credit where credit is due. Jason saved the day!!! We had a rattle snake hiding in a lumber pile at one of my job sites. Jason came out same day (early Friday morning). He snatched that snake up and was on his way. We were able to get back to work with very little down time. I didn't know snake fencing was a thing, but once Jason educated my clients on them, they contracted OC Snake Removal for property line snake fences to prevent future invaders. Jason is extremely professional and an overall good dude. I highly recommend OC Snake Removal! You are in the best of hands! read more

I recently replaced my water heater. As the plumber swept the area, a gopher snake slithered into the enclosure and coiled around the base. When I called OC SNAKE REMOVAL, Jason was more than happy to help. He quickly responded with what I thought would be an estimate. Luckily, he said it was a harmless alligator lizard and could be good to have around for rodents. He even sent me a link with more information. I will definitely call OC SNAKE REMOVAL if I need them in the future and recommend them to friends and family. read more

Jason from OC Snake Removal removed a huge rattle snake from our garden. Jason is extremely knowledgeable with years of experience. Jason had a quick response time and removal of juvenile rattlesnake. Not responsive. Had emailed an inquiry on his website and never heard response for snake fencing. Followed up with phone call and VM the next week. God forbid if you actually had a snake you wanted removed and he were this unresponsive. Neighbor had used him to install their snake fence after they had a baby rattlesnake in their yard. Though he had warned me it was odd that the day after fence was up they found a huge snake skin in their side yard! He also doesn't seal the cracks in the brick walls. Upon further inspection he is more of a hard to reach snake catcher who does fencing as a secondary thing. I preferred to go with a company that specializes in snake fencing so I'm glad now that he ignored all of my attempts to reach him. read more

After my neighbor had a rattlesnake in their yard I called Jason as I was extremely concerned for my dogs safety. Jason was great from start to finish. We have had rattle snakes in the backyard. We contacted OC Snake Removal to catch the snakes and these were captured and taken away. We decided to have them make our backyard snake proof because the metal fencing we have has vertical bars 4" apart. Also, gate to backyard had enough spaces underneath and on the sides to allow snakes in. OC Snake Removal installed a metal fence (through which snakes cannot pass through nor under it) against existing fence, sealed off rodent burrows in which snakes can continue living out of sight, made gate to backyard also snake proof. All this was done very professionally. We ended up recommending them to our neighbors. We now feel safe allowing our grandchildren play in the backyard and let our dogs out making every dollar spent worthwhile. read more

Jason did an amazing job from start to finish on our snake fencing. During the initial quote, we walked the property together and he asked lots of questions to understand expectations and identify options on things like aesthetics. We identified tricky areas and how he would approach each one. Upon completion of the job, we did a final walkthrough and he fixed any remaining issues. The fencing is "nearly" invisible now, and I don't think any small animals have much of a chance of breaking into our backyard. I think this will last for years to come, and makes me feel good about letting my infant daughter play in the backyard. He also offered post-install support, when rubber parts on the gates wear down over time. Thanks Jason, great work! To those of you out there looking for snake fencing in OC, I highly recommend at least getting an estimate from these guys. read more

I freaked out to see a snake in my backyard that further moved all the way to my front end and at my door step! Animal control was of no use so I called OC snake removal. Jason responded quickly to my message and reached my house in 10 mins. Luckily the snake was just slithering into a bush and he caught it in less than 2 mins. Further on Jason gave me suggestions on how I can clear certain areas of my backyard so they don't become a hiding ground for snakes and he also sealed a few holes on the fence. I'm so glad he made it on time. I recommend Jason and his business, he is a thorough professional. read more

Repeat customer here. So, 11 years ago Jason came out to our house to remove a very large rattlesnake discovered in our backyard. Fast-forward to this week, and I noticed some beady eyes peering out at me from under a patio chair in that same backyard. A smaller snake, but very possibly a rattler. I called Jason first and got his voice mail, so also texted him and then immediately panic-dialed anyone else I could find online. Jason called back about 25 minutes later, saying he was just finishing a job and could be at my house in less than 30 minutes. 15 minutes later, he called again to let us know he'd arrived. In my two experiences with him, Jason has been professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. He was able to immediately identify the snake as a baby garter, saying they can look a lot like young rattlesnakes and it was smart to call. Finally, it's worth noting that of the other three people I contacted, one vendor said they didn't have anyone in my area to send, one would not come out on a Sunday evening, and one just never returned my call. Absolutely recommend Jason and OC Snake Removal! read more

The initial job that was done to my property was very good. My big complaint is lack of responsiveness. I had spoken to Jason during the initial job mentioning I was getting my backyard redone in several months, and was wondering if he could come back to redo the front gate and touch up any areas needing attention once landscaping was finished. He agreed and was happy to come back once I reached out. I have texted, called, left messages, and emailed with no response after several weeks. This is very disappointing and will need to reach out to another company to finish the job. read more

La Sierra Hills, Riverside California. I was infested with snakes at a home I just purchased. My 4 year old daughter and pregnant wife were afraid to walk outside. We were seeing a snake a day, so I had to find a solution because my wife already wanted to sell the house we just purchased. I looked up some companies talked to my Gardner and everyone was saying they could handle the problem, I just didn't feel confident in any of there promises. They just wanted my money, so after all my research I found OC Snakes. They were a little hard to get a hold of but they were well worth the wait. They spend 2 days snake proofing my home and I'm still getting follow up calls. My wife is happy, and you know what that means, "happy wife, happy life" no snake sightings in just over a week. I'm satisfied and recommend these guys. Ron Contreras USMC 0311 Infantry read more

We moved to an area that backed up to a hill, with a lot of brush and wildlife. After hearing from neighbors and others around the neighborhood about snake sightings and the likelihood of having a snake end up in our backyard, we grew concerned, especially with a new baby and dog (who has unlimited access to the backyard). I called Jason and he was able to come out and take a look at our backyard that same week. When I asked about a property search, he told me that he could do it, but if we ended up going with a fence, the property inspection would be included in that fee - basically looking out for me in terms of cost. He measured our back fence and provided a quote the same day. He also provided honest and objective feedback on the state of our backyard and areas that were vulnerable to snake and other rodent occupation. We went with the fence, deciding it was the best long-term solution. Jason was back out the following week to install the fence. When I got home from work and saw the fence, the first thing I thought was, wow! I can't even tell it's there. My second thought was that I felt a lot more secure in my backyard, especially after the property inspection. Bottom line: Jason was fair, knowledgeable, trustworthy and did great work. I highly recommend him. Thanks, Jason! read more

We had a disappointing experience with Jason and OC Snake Removal. At the beginning of this summer (summer 2018), a California King snake somehow managed to get into our backyard and freaked out my entire family. Not knowing any better, we called Orange County Animal Control and we were told that they only dealt with rattlesnakes and offered no other solutions. A few days went by and yet we dared not step outside for fear that the snake was still in our backyard, so we started looking online for a company or a trapper that would remove the snake, if it was still there, and install some sort of fence or barrier to protect our backyard from other intrusions. I found OC Snake Removal on Yelp and was impressed by some of the reviews I read and decided to give them a shot. Jason came out to our townhouse on the date we agreed on, inspected our backyard thoroughly, and then we discussed a fence that could keep out snakes and other critters. I was quite pleased with what he described and what his estimate for the entire project would be. Before he left, Jason assured me that he would be sending me a formal quote via email within the next few days. Obviously, I paid him for coming out to inspect our property and he also added that what we paid would be deducted from the quote he was going to send us. Two days went by before I received his quote and after discussing it with my family for a few days, I decided to hire him. I tried calling but he wasn't available so I sent him a text message agreeing to the quote and asking him for a start date. The day after I texted him, there was no response and I chalked it up to him being busy or on another job. No big deal. A couple of more days went by and still there was no answer. I was finally able to reach him after a few days and I had a few questions about the specifics of the fence. However, since he was on vacation and out-of-town, he told me that he wouldn't be able to start until after he returned. I agreed to follow up with him the following week. True to my word, I called and texted him the following week and received no response. I must have called him 2-3 times (left voicemail messages) and then sent him 2 or 3 text messages and heard nothing from him. Another week passed without any contact from him. After about another week without any success, he finally sent me a rather confusing text. The text included the quote we had already agreed to and an answer to some of the questions we had already discussed. It felt as if he didn't know who he was texting or had forgotten what we had discussed. I responded to his text message and asked him for a start date. Much to my chagrin, there was no response to that text nor did he answer his phone. I called and texted him a few times during that final week and yet nothing came from that. I finally realized that if they didn't care to respond to my calls or text messages, it wasn't worth pursuing any further. I was very disappointed with Jason and OC Snake Removal. There was a clear lack of professionalism, business etiquette, and courtesy on their part. Don't understand if there was a problem on their end or if Jason didn't care for the job. As I described, we paid him about $100 for removal of the snake which never happened and he assured us that that money would be deducted from the fence quote, which were happy to hire him to build. Sadly, he didn't take our need very seriously. How unfortunate. Given the reviews, I'm sure other people have had better experiences with Jason and OC Snake Removal, but as far as what we experienced, we were very disappointed and would not recommend him and his company to anyone. read more

We bought our first home in the community of Ladera Ranch in the spring of 2014 and have had 4 rattlesnakes in our yard since purchasing. It was past the time of doing something to stop this so we decided to call out several fence companies for snake fence quotes, including OC Snake Removal. Jason from OC Snake Removal came to our property for a walk-through and thoroughly explained his fencing product. We never looked back, his knowledge of rattlesnakes combined with his fencing methods and price was fantastic. Professional service and topnotch installation. We called Jason to the house after our 16-year dog was bitten and killed by a baby rattlesnake in our backyard -- right under the patio table where my small kids play. Jason was so nice and comforting to our family. He understood the sense of urgency and was out to visit the next day. He did a thorough inspection to ensure we had some peace of mind with the backyard, and within a week, we had snake-proofed the yard. For us, that meant fencing along the back wrought iron fence and sealing cracks between the walls and the house. He also blocked the spacing under the gates, and ensures all the vents to the house were blocked properly, so there is no way for anything to get it. It also turned out that we had a pile of stone in the front part of the yard that had a rat nest in it -- great food for more snakes, as they smell the rats. He eliminated that and put the stone up on blocks so the rats have no interest in nesting there. Jason is super knowledgeable, patient, and does very high-quality work. You can tell just talking to him how much pride he has in his work. I would highly recommend him if you are concerned about snakes in your yard. Thanks Jason for making my kids feel safe in the yard again! read more

Great service, on time and professional. Neat installation by a polite crew with good looking fencing. Price is high value.

I recently purchased a property that backs up to peters canyon, and although snakes arent reported frequently, i did not want to take any chances. I have a 4yr old that loves to play outside. After researching numerous companies that offer "snake fencing installation" and speaking with ALL of them that offer service in OC, Jason was by far the most impressive and most knowledgeable. He installed the snake fence and took his time to make sure it came out perfect. Super friendly, honest, and most importantly, knows his stuff. Great prices, but can you really put a price on peace of mind? Especially if you have kids. The best part of the fence, its nearly invisible!! Dont waste your time with others, trust me. If a snake fence is what you need, this is the only company i would trust with the safety of your family. Once again, THANKS JASON!!! read more

To say thank you would be an understatement. We are new to Southern California and we were coming out of our house to walk our snake dinner of a dog (7 lb Bichon-Poodle) when what we thought was a rattlesnake stopped us in our tracks. Being the brave people that we are in this type of a situation, we ran back inside and went into end of days survival mode and began frantically calling every snake control agency and our life insurance agent. Jason called back and I sent him the 108 pictures I took of it from the window of my house. He calmly informed me that it was a San Diego Alligator Lizard and that there was nothing to fear but fear itself. Peace of mind is priceless and him allaying our fears was appreciated beyond words. Thank you Jason for bringing calm to the storm. Kudos. read more

We bought a home in Southern California last year. We never considered rattlesnakes an issue until we had 3 in our yard in May alone. Our neighbors referred us to Jason from Orange County Snake Removal. Let me to tell you, he is a wealth of knowledge and very professional! He educated us on everything we needed to know about the snakes in our area and gave us a free rattlesnake fence quote. We had one more company come out and their price and knowledge didn't compare to Jason's. We hired Jason to install a snake-proof fence to keep rattlers out of our yard and house (and away from our dog!). It's been about 6 wks and we are snake free! We're also trying to get a few of our neighbor's dogs together so Jason can come back and train them all to avoid snakes while out on hikes, etc!
