I hired OC maids to clean an empty apartment before move-in. I asked for the bathrooms, kitchen and blinds to be wiped down. I had to send them back in to do the empty refrigerator, but they did not touch the kitchen otherwise (maybe the blinds). I will post more pictures the the baseboards of the bathroom. I couldn't get a good picture of the cob webs that were still on the baseboards of the stairs. But they did vacuum the only part of the carpet that was new, not the stairs nor upstairs bedrooms at all. I called to complain and was told someone would get back to me after he talked to the team that was here. Waste of money, call someone else! Such a shame too, I used this place the 5 years I lived in Costa Mesa, I was out of the area 11 months I had no clue they went that far down in such a short time. read more

Let me first start by saying the two cleaners who came to my home were very nice and I have nothing poor to say about them as people. However, to review them as maids, they were not very good. My house needed just the standard cleaning (dust, mop, vacuum, wipe down, windows) and I was left pretty underwhelmed by their service. This was the first time I used OC Maids and I was under the impression that at $100 an hour for 2 people, they were a professional service, but seems more like they just came and did a quick pass because they knew they were going to get paid. 1. 3 hours late to my appointment, scheduled at 1 PM, didn't come and start till 4 PM. 2. No uniform 3. Wore their outside shoes in my house while cleaning (no booties) 4. Used general cleaning supplies, not commercial grade. I had to give them some of my own supplies as well 5. Did not mop my floors (used a Swiffer jet mop) 6. Not very observant - missed a lot of areas, I had to go back with blue tape to show them and they still missed similar areas in other parts of the house This may have been a missed opportunity, but I will not be using them again. We called oc maids because our usual house maid was busy and we made an appointment for 2 maids to clean for 2 hours total. We had just moved into this house after a family lived here so we needed the whole place to be cleaned. They took our card info and set the appointment. On the day of, 3 ladies arrived and quickly cleaned my entire house (3 bedroom, 2 bath) for 1 hour total. We reminded them we actually paid for 2 hours of service. One of the ladies relied saying that since they have 3 people they're done faster and they were done so they will be leaving. They quickly took off. I honestly felt like the house was barely clean and very rushed work. When our usual house maid came by two weeks later, she made it spotless and pointed out many spots that were still dirty. I'm confused by all the positive reviews. There should be a 0 star option! I've never had such a bad experience with a home cleaning before. Not only did they take a long time, but my house wasn't even clean afterwards. I don't know what they were doing during the three hours they were upstairs. I do know one of the ladies spent about 20 minutes clipping her nails. On top of that, I was over charged and it took me calling twice to get my money back. I really feel that I was ripped off. I was notified only a few minutes prior to their expected start time that they couldn't make it. Agreed to a reschedule since the owner said he would do it for free. While I appreciate the attempt to rectify the situation, I will not be using their services in the future. They were here for 3 hours and still left things untouched (see attached photos). With so many great reviews, I'd give it a go. I hired OC maids to clean an empty apartment (move out). they showed up late and I had to rush to the apartment and meet them cause they couldn't find it. Walked them to the apartment and left. I got a text saying "we are wrapping it up!". I'm only 5-10 minutes away. When I got into the parking structure. The maids were standing by their car talking. huh? "we are wrapping it up!"? looks like they are done. They didn't see me and I when in a different way to check the apartment. I was disappointed. It was a half A** job. The place was still dirty. The only things that were cleaned were appliances and windows. The floors were still wet with dirty streak marks. Looks like they mopped without vacuuming. 30 minutes passed, I get a text from the maids "All done thank you". Really! I guess they really didn't see me. I was charged for 3 hours. I was duped an hour. I'd end up having to clean the place again myself the day after. If you hire OC maids, make sure your present, and check on the works. This way you don't get duped. read more

Price is $65 an hour for two people. They arrived in a timely manner and saved enough time to finish the job. They were both very polite and nice and did a thorough job. They even cleaned the blinds and the top of the lights in the dining room! We have two cats and they didn't mind them at all. I had a groupon before with a different service and was extremely unhappy. The price is pretty reasonable considering it is for two people that are very good. It is a two hour minimum and they have a fee if you do a last minute cancellation. Other than that they bring their own supplies. The maid service called "Cozy Maid" (DO NOT recommend Cozy Maid)I had the bad experience before with the Groupon flaked and I got charged full price even though I had one maid instead of two and also when she finally showed up the next day after she bailed she used tiny Lysol wipes and was extremely slow. These ladies at OC maids were moving at a reasonable pace while being detail oriented. One lady also found my earring under the couch! I contacted the scheduler to find their names to re request the same ladies. All in all I would recommend. I got quotes from a couple other services and the rates were higher. Do NOT use this company. We have used them before and weren't happy, but, I believe in second chances. Well, they've made me realize "THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE SECOND CHANCE"! The owner David is absolutely non responsive. They charge $140 an hour with a 2 hour minimum. Well, they sent over a team of two maids (nice people) but they have no clue what it is to clean. They did an absolutely poor job cleaning the bathroom they needed a thorough deep clean on. I even mentioned to David prior to them coming out that they needed to be sure to bring a good mop, cleaning supplies, etc...They showed up, worked for less than an hour and collected the full 2 hr payment. All they did was clean the glass tub doors and walls. Window sill just the tub was completely filthy and dusty, exterior of tub still had stains, floors were still dirty. I don't mind paying if you do what you are asked to do. But when you don't perform and then make your customers chase after you, that is not good business at all. How does that make sense?!!? If you say there is a 2 hr minimum, then at least stay the 2 hrs or close to it and do a good job. Don't stay for less than an hour and then rush out demanding the payment of a 2 hour minimum. We couldn't even check their work before they left because they were so quick to want to run out the door. I contacted the owner David and he asked that I forward him pictures which I did. He said also said they would come back out to clean the bathroom to my satisfaction. Still have not gotten a return call regarding the re-cleaning. We found OC Maids by recommendation on. Facebook group in Irvine when we were looking for an affordable and efficient cleaning service to come and and prepare our house rental for inspection. They did an excellent job with a team of two to clean our 1,900 sq. Ft. 3 bedroom house in 3 hours. We needed more of a deep clean in the common areas and just a once over for the bedrooms which they were very understanding and flexible. The owner or manager of the business called ahead to confirm the details of our needs and to let the cleaning team know what our budget was so they would stay in that time frame and let us know ahead of time if something wasn't going to be finished about 30mins before so they could focus on what we wanted to be cleaned. We added an extra hour to make sure everything was done completely and they ladies did a wonderful job and gave us some great tips on good cleaning products to use to maintain our home in the future. They always do a great job for me. They are not the cheapest cleaning service in the area, but do reliably great work.

I scheduled a 2 hr cleaning service from 1-3 pm. I was disappointed because they did not work the full time. They showed up in the parking lot at 1:00, but they sat there on their phones in an unmarked car. They then drove around, moved to another parking spot, and continued waiting. I later approached the car to ask if they were the hired maids. It was at least 1:10, if not 1:15, when they started. However, they left at 3:00 sharp and did not finish cleaning everything. The maids worked at an average pace, but seemed ill-equipped in comparison to other maid services. I later left direct feedback (see attached survey email picture) and was informed that the maids provide their own equipment. This means that you might get maids who lack sufficient supplies or lack commercial grade equipment - as was the case with me. After the service, I was sent a direct survey from the actual company, which corresponded as an intermediary between the maids and me. I left negative feedback in the direct survey for the reasons above. The maids then disputed my story, accused me of having a place that was too dirty to clean in the allocated time. In actuality, the maids only had one floor left to sweep and one fridge to clean - which they could have completed if they hadn't wasted 10-15 minutes in the parking lot. The maids personally contacted me after I submitted my review and accused me of lying to their boss. I am concerned about why the maids were given my contact info for this purpose. Edit and Update in reply to business owner: You: "They didn't show up late, they came within the arrival time. It doesn't matter at what time they start, they stay full 2 hours." My response: No, they didn't stay the full 2 hours. That's why I'm disappointed. Unless you count them sitting in the parking lot on their phones for the first 10-15 minutes. You: "At first you messaged us that they came late at 2:10pm and finished at 4 sharp.We checked our phones and they sent me a text at 3:08 that they just finished. They started working a little pass 1pm and finished at 2 hour mark." My Response: No, they arrived at 1 in the parking lot, sat around for 10-15 minutes, and finished at 3 sharp. If I was an hour off, then I stand corrected. I don't know why they waited 8 minutes to text you. They finished at 3:00 sharp. You: "They asked If everything looks okay, the lady that was there told them that everything is good." My response: No, my wife literally asked them to finish up and they refused. You: "Our arrival window is between 1pm - 2pm, so they can come in anytime between 1pm - 2pm. They can take a little break after their first appointment as all humans need a break." My Response: That's fine - take a break in between jobs. Don't make me pay for your texting in the parking lot for 10-15 minutes. You: "If our team started at 1pm they will finish at 3pm, If they started at 1:30pm they will finish at 3:30pm, not at 3pm." My Response: NO, THEY DIDN'T. THEY STARTED 10-15 MINUTES LATE (AFTER 1:10) AND FINISHED AT 3:00 SHARP. You: "They did not clean fridge and garage because they didn't have time to cover everything in 2 hours. Cleaning those areas doesn't take 15 min, but at least 30 - 40 min." My Response: My wife finished wiping the fridge in 10 minutes while complaining about your maids. Garage only needed a broom sweep. But your maids wouldn't know that, because they never ask what needed to be done. I didn't need an entire garage clean - only floor sweep. You: "It is interesting that you did not complaint about their time or work that day or at least within 3 days." My Response: Why is that interesting? This is a move out. I was busy moving. I did provide a direct email reply very soon after you sent an email survey. You: "Unfortunately, we have so many clients who take advantage of small businesses." My Response: How have I taken advantage of you? I don't want a refund or anything. I just want to warn people about your business. You: "And It looks like you only post 1 star reviews." My Response: NOW YOU'RE JUST STRAIGHT UP LYING. This is the integrity of your business - liars. Anyone can verify it. You: We are always happy to make things better If we did something wrong, we are not perfect, but we are honest and want to improve our work. My Response: Honest? You're joking. See paragraph above. I called a week ahead, they were supposed to be here Saturday morning, I get a text that they aren't feeling good and won't be showing up AT 9AM when they were supposed to be there at 9am . I messaged OC Maids on Yelp to get a quote on a move in cleaning for my clients. They responded to my inquiry promptly and gave me a very competitive price. The cleaning ladies, Eury & Marcia, were on time and flexible as I was running late. While they were waiting for me, they went and grabbed lunch. Eury & Marcia did a fantastic job cleaning the house. They cleaned the inside of the refrigerator, oven and microwave and wiped the insides of all the cabinets and drawers. I really appreciated that they told me what cleaning solution they used on the wood floors. After they finished Eury walked me through the house so I could inspect their work. I will definitely be calling OC Maids for my next sale/lease in Orange County. read more

We bought a town home (see pictures below) requested OC Maids to dust shutters and mop first floor only, no vacuum needed.... after 4 Long hours of cleaning the empty 13sq ft (no vacuum needed) house should be spectacular clean considering no furnitures!? After four hours of cleaning shutters poorly wiped, didn't mop the whole floor, some cabinets left untouched? That's unfortunate Jennifer. What next time?.... It's not about the cost it's the quality you give your customers. This UPDATED REVIEW is probably more important than the first. I reached out to OC Maids based on the yelp reviews and with all first time experiences you cross your fingers and hope it's great.... But my first cleaning was not as expected and it was only unsatisfactory-to-ok. It's not like the maids didn't leave some places clean but basically I had new tenants moving in and they weren't happy because there were places that could have weren't clean and for a one bedroom/one bath/closet and 1/2 guest bath cleaning (with no furniture in the way) it was still dirty in obvious places. So I wrote a review on yelp just stating my honest feedback and that it was just OK but not great. Immediately the OC Maid team kicked into full gear to do what everyone online wishes... that if the experience isn't great that they'll do whatever it takes to make you as a customer happy. This really stood out! I was not bullied or harassed or yelled at for my opinion of the job. Jennifer, an employee of OC Maids, saw my review and texted me saying that she'd make this right in the morning with the manager Kenya. In the morning Kenya called me and I told her about my experience and she said that she'd fix it. She worked with my schedule and sent out another team. Since my new tenants had already moved in, they themselves wiped down all of the spots to get the room in good condition. So getting the second team in to clean the original room didn't make much sense, so Kenya said that her team could work on another area to make up for it "Until we were happy" This really meant a lot because there was no point having the second team clean the first room because it was already clean by this point. So the second team did some baseboards and shutters in the house and time and energy wise they made up for the bad experience with the first team. Now really the whole point of this updated review is to say that here you have a company that will stand behind customer satisfaction. They will literally make up for dissatisfaction by fixing what didn't work out. This is maybe even better than having a group come out the first time to do the job well because now you know it wasn't a one time wonder. It means that any time OC Maids comes out, they'll working to make you happy and for the job to be done to your satisfaction level or they'll make it right. Hands down this is refreshing in this day and age and I can't help but now share this experience and say to all of you who have yet to try OC Maids, try them, let them have your business and KEEP IT. I will now only exclusively call them when I need regular or one time cleanings. (There are only two I recommend, and this one edges out the other one because of better last-minute availability, more cleaning services available, and better communication.) My house is 1100 sq feet so not big I had to re-clean my own appliance because of how horrible the streaks were in the stainless steel. I had to ask them to windex my bathroom mirror after they said they cleaned it. I had to re-dust. Also they did not bring a mop so my floor is still filthy. Terrible experience. I had to wait almost 2 hours forth to show up, when the appointments was between 1- 2 pm I called and told them the closes to 2 the better and they said ok, because they were behind schedule. I got to my condo at 1:40. At 2:15 I called the company and ask them what was going on, they said they were going to try to find out and call me back. Well nobody did. I called back again and they said because I told them the later the better, they were going to come close to 3???. I never ask them to be close to 3, the arrangement was close to 2??. Again I wait and wait and by 3 because nobody showed up, I called them again and the guy who answer says: they are there in the parking lot. Liars they were not there, as soon as I cancel the service it seems the ladies decide to show up, It was 3:20 when I left the condo and I saw them just coming down from their cars slowly and like they didn't care if they were late or not. After years of trying cleaning services here and there, and feeling like, "they did a pretty good job, but I can do it better/just as well"... I think I've finally found my go-to team! I am most impressed by OC Maids out of all the companies I've ever tried! I booked them for a deep clean since I hadn't had our home professionally cleaned in nearly a year, and they did an impeccable, thorough job. I'm rarely impressed when it comes to home cleanings, but was really blown away by them. I came home to a spotless, organized, dust-free, dirt-free house! I came home for lunch, and they were still working away, so I saw that our stovetop was sparkling, my microwave was scrubbed down, and my rugs had been rolled up since they were cleaning under them. They took out all our trash, re-lined them, and ran the dishwasher. No dirty dishes in sight! Not a single detail was overlooked. Jen was really responsive over text, and was great with follow-up and appointment confirmation. 3 ladies showed up exactly on time and went straight to work. I really wish my home were this clean EVERY DAY. My work has really picked up, and with two young kids, I just don't have time to "do it all" anymore. I have a morning off and called them to confirm that they can come in the morning. It is an empty house and it just need some vacuum and toilet cleaning. But I have been waiting and they eventually came after 2pm. Like other reviews said, they just come based on their working schedule but keep telling you they will be there at your appointment time. They clean what they see and I have to tell them where they missed. Overall an 3 hours job costs me a whole day to be done. I need to clean the part they missed afterwards. We will no longer be using this service and I think it is worthwhile with others to share why. The last two times the ladies didn't arrive until close to 40 min after the scheduled time. I should have known not to schedule another appointment but I did for today and no one has shown up. I was given the time frame from 11-11:30 and it is now 12:30 and no one has arrived and I've received zero correspondence after reaching out. As I said this is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last. It is unacceptable to assume your clients have all day to wait around for a scheduled appointment especially during the work week. My experience with a call center was terrible. I dealt with the RUDE individual and she should be dealt with. I deleted this post leading to believe that I was dealing with the owner on the message but it turns out she is not the owner but a manager imposing as an owner. Something is wrong with this establishment and I am glad I did not get their service. I don't do many reviews but this one calls for it... Finding and scheduling service providers during the pandemic is challenging at best. Businesses are getting poor reviews based on circumstances that may or may not not be under their control in these uncertain times. I made a random choice on Yelp and hired OC Maids to clean my home. Kristen and Liz were prompt, professional, efficient, and very respectful of my home and my wishes. I am very satisfied with the job they did, and am planning to have them clean for me on a regular basis. It's important to remember that even though reviews can be mixed, even the most reputable companies are doing their best to stay open and maintain the best staff possible.
