Was looking for a last minute move-out cleaning service through Yelp and found Got It Maid. Spoke with Kiran through messages and then over the phone. Super quick responses and reasonably priced! Anddddd they work on weekends too! Anddddd they saved me because I was freaking out about having to clean after packing and moving. I had scheduled my cleaning for a Sunday afternoon and received a call from Kiran saying that the team they had originally assigned was going to be later than the original time slot because they were at another place. Unfortunately that wasn't going to work for me so Kiran came herself to clean my place! She and Alex did an amazing job and made sure everything was clean and pretty! They were super nice and Alex ended up having to help me clean off a couple of things that were in the garage that I was taking with me (because I can't do spiders) and even helped me put them into my car because they were heavy. They took a little bit longer to clean my place but I'm glad they did because they actually cleaned so many things that other places would have you add on. This company is completely dishonest, and my experience with Kiran was appalling, to say the least. Don't be fooled by what Kiran promises when she gives you the quote. I've just filed a Yelp claim against this business because there's no point trying to resolve it with someone so unprofessional. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a vicious comeback from Kiran for my review here! The company sent two workers to my home without notifying me that neither of them spoke English. This created serious communication barriers, and I had to rely on Google Translate just to give basic instructions. One worker appeared to be underage, and the other couldn't even read the simple Spanish instructions I showed her on my phone. They arrived an hour late with minimal tools--certainly not enough for the move-in cleaning I had requested. Instead of addressing the areas that actually needed attention, they wasted time cleaning spaces that were already clean. The older worker couldn't follow even the simplest directions, and I spent most of the time struggling to communicate through Google Translate. The service was nowhere near worth $90/hour. Honestly, how much do you think this business is paying these untrained workers who can't speak English? Do the workers even have work permits to protect themselves from exploitation? When I requested a discount due to their lateness, communication issues, and poor quality of service, Kiran flatly refused. But it didn't end there -- she turned it around immediately and made it seem like I was the problem. Her response, "English is not your first language either. You shouldn't judge people like that." What?? Apparently, paying for workers who can communicate with me and do the job right is too much to ask!! When I said I would leave an honest review, Kiran couldn't wait to insult me with "99% of our customers are smart. They will know you're a difficult customer." Wow! Never would have expected that from someone in customer service! She then complained that I had been texting her all day--when, in reality, she was the one who had to text me to let me know their workers were an hour late! Her text "And you have been texting me all day. I don't think he would've been happy anyways." Who's "he"? Seems Kiran was scared of him being unhappy, and that was her only concern. Their Yelp page is deceptive. They advertise using branded "Got It Maid" vehicles by making it the first picture, but the workers actually arrived in an Uber with no company uniforms and only a few equipment. This is definitely not what I expected from a professional service. This entire experience with Kiran has me questioning whether this business is involved in fraudulent activity or, at the very least, something unethical. Stay away from this business! read more

Okay, I'm an adept cleaner so I am admittedly a picky cleaner and finding cleaners that clean proficiently is often a challenge I run into. I had two fabulous people come clean the areas for a move out that were too difficult for me (the entire kitchen including tile floors, and two bathrooms (including showers and bathtubs and tile floors). They both worked to hard. I was seriously impressed. They even fit in more cleaning in the allotted timeframe and I could not be more pleased! It was worth every penny! And the attitudes of the female and male cleaner were impressive. They were people of integrity and positivity. It sounds like the owner trains their people to clean well and it shows! I was home for the first visit, as required by the company. The maid upfront if I was okay with them going over the two hour minimum if needed. What I really needed help with was deep organizing. My pantry, bathroom storage areas had become cluttered and a jumbled mess of things that had gotten crammed in. "Out of site-out of mind" until you opened the cupboard to find something. One of the crew was more efficient at organizing than the other, but both were great. My tiny kitchen and bathroom now have space. Space that my husband and I didn't know was even possible to find! I called Got It Maid and Kiran explained that she had forgotten to call me to get my credit card info - so of course it wasn't confirmed since they only confirm with credit card. She was resourceful enough to get 2 cleaners to show up (2.5 hrs after my hoped for time). They worked intensely but somehow the floor wasn't clean (I'm guessing it was a defective vacuum cleaner). I'm currently 9 months pregnant and wanted to hire someone to come out and do a deep clean of our apartment before the baby arrives since it's getting too difficult for me to do it. Got It Maid had the best reviews so I went ahead and hired them. I booked them online which was pretty easy although I never received a confirmation so I had to email them for that. I scheduled for yesterday and they gave me an arrival window of noon to two. They arrived at 12:45. The ladies were very nice and I asked what they needed from me. They asked what I wanted done. I told them I wanted a deep clean of the entire apartment and especially the baseboards, window shutters, and floors. They were done at 2:30 and I took a quick look around, paid them for 2 hours and they were on their way. After they left I started taking a look around. I noticed some things weren't done to our liking. I called the owner back and explained the situation. She offered to send someone the next day to complete the job at 9am. This morning I received a call from the owner herself that she was on her way and arrived at 9am with all her cleaning supplies and a dozen donuts for us. She went way above and beyond and spent over 2 hours cleaning the entire apartment again! I mean every nook and cranny was scrubbed and spotless by the time she was done. She was so sweet and apologized for the previous job and miscommunication. Just fine finished my first cleaning and I am a happy camper. Christina and Francisca are very sweet, through and careful. Something I appreciate greatly. Excellent attention to the details. Initially I asked for just kitchen, bath and floors - they were so quick, they finished in an hour. Christina asked if I wanted them to dust so they did: including the wooden blinds, and vacuumed furniture. They even swept the back screened patio and front steps/tile. Buyer beware. I have used Got It Maid before, and the cleaning was fine, nothing to write home about, but certainly not terrible either. For the upcoming holiday, we wanted to have our house cleaned, and the only available times were when I was at work. I booked two (2) cleaners for two (2) hours, and gave them a code to get into our house. They called when they arrived, and when I got home, the house had been cleaned. The next day I received a charge for double what I was expecting. I called to find out what had happened and was told that the team had stayed for twice as long as I had booked (so two (2) cleaners, four (4) hours). When I protested, saying that I had clearly booked only two hours, I was informed that I should have communicated to the team that they needed to leave at the end of the booked time, and that it would have been impossible to finish the job in the two hours I booked. I inquired as to why I didn't receive any notice that the team would take more time, and get my OK to stay for four hours instead of two. There was no good answer, only the company stating that this was a customer error, not a service error. I asked what would have happened if they had stayed for 8 or 10 hours, and was told in that case I would have been charged for 8 or 10 hours. If you want a decent cleaning, Got It Maids can make that happen. Just be careful that someone is home or that you check and double check that they will only be staying as long as you signed up for. Edit: ~20 minutes after making this review, I received a threatening text message (in the attached photo). I am sorry they feel as though I am trying to withhold payment for services rendered, but I never agreed to additional time. I don't think I'll be using the company again at this point... read more

She wanted it very detailed but they left dust in my room. Our old cleaners only charged us $180 and was super detailed and left no dust. So I hate to give such a low review but finding a good cleaning service is tough. I used to live in Irvine where I had this monthly cleaning service. I was probably spoiled where two cleaning people would come in for 30 min at 8am on Saturday (I always requested one this wonderful lead cleaning person, but they would have everything wiped and cleaned in 30 min, mind you the house was only 1200sq ft.) Fast forward, I'm living with my in-laws so I try to keep their house clean. Andrea was wonderful bc I requested in addition to paying close attention to the refrigerator and the master bath, I would expect the rest of the house to be relatively clean. Positive: Andrea had a great attitude and worked swiftly, the master bathroom tile was great, the fridge was great, areas where obvious dust was clean Negative : Although the master shower was done, still found hair and even old salt scrub from 2 days ago in the shower drain, the toilet wasn't completely clean, the floors were not really mopped clean (the floors are still sticky where we will be), small appliances were not wiped (didn't looked touched, usually at least the outside is wiped, if not including the inside), my work space was still covered in dust (laptop, desk), I had to ask the other woman to come back in and get the dust under the bed and dresser (which we completely cleaned out so it would be easier to clean). We just removed our old washer and dryer and they cleaned the dust on the floor but there's still hanging dust on the wall right above it. The kitchen countertop still had old food stuck to it (I had to rewipe this morning. Overall I allowed 4 hours (2people) and the only areas I was satisfied with is most the bathroom tile and the inside of the fridge. We booked Got It Maid for a move in cleaning of a new house. The house had recently had new floors installed and the baseboards painted, so there was a lot of sawdust and paint dust on the surfaces (floor, blinds, window sills, shelves, etc). We wanted to make sure that these were all cleaned before we moved in the next day. In terms of booking the cleaning, Got It Maid were great. They were clear and speedy and it went very smoothly. The clean itself, however, left a lot to be desired. Given we had some high shelves and blinds that needed cleaning, I wanted to make sure that the cleaners would bring a step ladder (we weren't moved in yet, so didn't have one in the home). Despite my confirming with the company, on the day the cleaners didn't bring anything. As a result they spent most of their time swiping at the blinds with a wet mop and most of the top surfaces (in the kitchen shelves, the pantry, etc) were not dusted. While our bathrooms and floors were well done, we were really angry about the poor job that was done on the surfaces. I had to come back first thing the next morning (at 6am) to clean these before we could move in. This was precisely what I was hoping to avoid by hiring a maid service. Overall this was a very unfortunate experience and we won't be using them again. read more

I used Got It Maid this past weekend for my spring cleaning. Booking was super easy. I originally requested a quote through yelp to get more information & the manager responded in less than 20 minutes. I then booked an appointment via the website and it was a piece of cake. The site has their pricing as well as a great FAQ list that covers anything you need to know. They provide a 2 hour window for arrivals and I received a text message with a heads up when they were on their way. Beverly and Francisca were fabulous - they cleaned my entire home top to bottom. I specifically asked for a deep clean on the bathrooms and kitchen. My shower looks AMAZING - this is the best part as the shower is the item I hate cleaning the most!! Kitchen was sparkling - I've never seen the sink so spotless and shiny! As well as the stove top - it even had my husband impressed. The ladies did such a wonderful job. As they completed rooms, they asked me to check the rooms to make sure I was satisfied with the job that they did. I'm pleased with the service I received and will definitely use this company again. It was super hot (especially upstairs), and she was all by herself, but man, she did a great job cleaning our stubborn mess of a house. I booked for a later shift between 5-7pm. They only send one person in the evening, so it was one person for $35 per hour, minimum 3 hours. After she started cleaning, I noticed that she spent probably a little over an hour on just out kitchen, so I was hesitant if she'd be able to get to out 3 bathrooms -- but she did it! She even had time to vacuum. Our kitchen and bathrooms needed a lot of scrubbing, so I'm impressed as to how spotless out place is now. I highly recommend this service for anyone who may have let their house-cleaning slip a little to the point where the house is just a mess. It's always easier to start over and attempt to keep a place clean, then to spend all this time and money on supplies to clean yourself. read more

So I guess you're not supposed to share honest feedback with this business? I found this business via Yelp, so I felt a truthful review was appropriate. The booking process was easy & there was availability when I needed it. You get an arrival window of 2 hours of when the team could arrive, plus 2 hours of cleaning. Luckily I work from home, but I can't imagine that system works well with people who don't have that flexibility. The team was nice & pleasant. I explained my priorities were the bathrooms & kitchen. I have a shoulder injury, so the bend-over scrubbing/mopping/etc required for those areas are almost impossible for me to do. The areas that the team cleaned were very well done. But at the end of 2 hours they just said we're done, bye. Kitchen floor was entirely untouched. Rugs not vacuumed or moved, no mopping, etc. They never mentioned they didn't get to it, or ran out of time, nothing. I said the kitchen was a priority and it was the last room they cleaned. I called Kiran to bring this to their attention. While she was professional, it definitely felt like she was trying to blame me. "Well you were home, why didn't you say something?" I wasn't standing behind them watching them. I'm not rude. When they finished a room/area, I would check it. They were cleaning in the kitchen up until the moment they walked out the door. She kept saying it was a timed service. Ok, I understand. But then communicate with me, "hey, there's only 15 minutes left in your 2 hours. Would you like us to do job x or y with the time remaining?" Or even ask if I want to pay for more time so I can ensure everything gets done. But it absolutely baffles me that the one thing left unfinished is the job I SPECIFICALLY said I can't physically do with my injury. Kiran did offer for someone to come out tomorrow and finish, but we're going out of town for the holidays tomorrow. The purpose of the cleaning today was to give the house/pet sitter a fresh place. So regrettably there wasn't really a satisfying way to resolve the issue. So after dropping $180 to clean a less than 1000sqft apartment, here I am mopping my kitchen floor on vicodin. read more

I was communicated with beforehand and alerted when the team was on their way; when they arrived we walked through the house together and I talked them through my priorities, but also made sure to mention that if it took longer than the originally booked time, that was okay. Both ladies were professional, friendly, thorough, and total life savers; they cleaned places I wouldn't have thought to check and made the stove and oven look practically brand new. We did a final walkthrough and I discovered one drawer that had been missed but they took care of it right away before leaving. It was a great experience. I really did my homework in reading all the reviews and checking out other companies before deciding to book Got It Maid. I had seen their cars driving around town, and they came recommended by neighbors in my area on the Nextdoor App website. I am very pleased with the results and will book them again. I have a special needs child who has a compromised immune system. That with my allergies, and my having survived cancer... having a clean house is a priority for me. I had a regular housekeeper up until 4 years ago. We were going through financial troubles and had to cut back. While he and his crew were amazing, and honestly a little cheaper, they had a tendency to chip or break things, and the rate kept increasing and then I started missing jewelry. When I deciding to get a service again, I didn't want to call him and wanted to look for a company that was licensed, etc. This is what attracted me to Got it Maid. The majority of the reviews were appealing, and the price was no haggle - one price per hour. I've tried to keep up with the cleaning - but lately I just haven't had the energy. We are much busier with the kids getting older, and I just started to dread it. The two woman crew that arrived (I'm horrible with names - I only remember Maria) were wonderful. The house was in very bad shape, and very dusty from the recent Santa Ana winds. My priorities - cob webs, bathrooms, floors, kitchen! While I asked for and was quoted 3 hours, it took 3 1/2 hours to get everything clean. They also asked for my approval before going over 3 hours. It was fine with me because they did it all and more. I have completely abandoned my 16 year old son's room. It's a pig sty. I told them to simply vacuum that room and leave it alone - but they did an amazing job and more! I had a shower door that hadn't seen a squeegy in 3 years and they got rid of the soap scum! The only room that was somewhat neglected by the ladies was the last room they worked in, which was my master bathroom. All the big things were clean (toilet, sink, mirror) but I still had some cobwebs (I have really tall ceilings) and some dust on the light fixtures in that one room. Looking at what they accomplished, I'm willing to look past what they missed in the last room and realize it takes more than one cleaning to keep a home clean. In all, I am very pleased!
