We called a few days ago to book a cleaning and said we were looking for two cleaners. We were told it would be 1.5 hours for $150 ($50 per cleaner, per hour). The arrival window we were given was between 9-10 AM. Though we were told that we would be notified 30 minutes prior to the team's arrival, we didn't receive any texts. Today, Esperanza arrived alone at around 9:55 AM and said it would be $150 for 3 hours. Though we expected 2 cleaners for 1.5 hours, we agreed. Esperanza told us later after 2 hours of cleaning, that the kitchen and living room would take 2 hours instead of 1, so our total would change to $200. This was a little unexpected but we agreed to this too. However, she finished after a total of 3 hours of cleaning, she didn't need the additional 4th hour. But when we were about to pay, she charged us $200. We ended up paying $180 but she did maybe an extra 5 minutes at most, not a full hour, for the extra $30 we paid. Esperanza was nice and she cleaned our place well. We just weren't very satisfied with how what we agreed on, and expected, kept changing. Also, I'm not very sure if they take out the trash or not. When I asked, Esperanza agreed, but she looked a little surprised, so I guess this is one extra thing I was left wondering about. read more

J can't say enough good things about Maid in Orange (a name I thought was pretty clever). They were able to schedule me for first thing the following morning which I didn't expect. I'm an old retired guy and have been going through some medical issues that have prevented me from doing any deep cleaning for quite awhile. I've had some bad experiances with house cleaners in the past and had dragged ny feet in trying to find a new one but I struck gold with Maid in Orange. Stephany was prompt, pleasant and really paid attention to detail. When I saw my glass shower doors I thought She had somehow replaced them with brand new ones, I was amazed. She exceeded the 3 hour minimum by about 30 min. Another thing I didn't expect due to how long it had been since last cleaned. I just got my cleaning done by this company few days ago and was super satisfied. I had 1 person come in for 3 hours but ended up using her 1 more extra hour because I was so satisfied with her cleaning. She was very professional and was able to take out all the oil grease that I wasn't able to. I had hard time taking out water grease on my bathtub but she got it all out. However, I would give the office 1 to 2 Stars. I've used Maid in Orange off and on over the past 4 - 5 years and often recommend them to friends. For this particular visit, I booked one technician for three hours, with an arrival window of 2:00 - 5:00pm. Both the website and the reminder email make it VERY clear that this is an "arrival window" and not the actual hours that the technicians will be in your home. So, I planned my day around being home at 2:00. You can imagine my surprise when my teenage son called me at 1:25pm to tell me that someone was at the door to clean our house! For this particular visit, I did not want my entire house cleaned, I only wanted specific rooms/areas done. Because Karen arrived when I wasn't home (and because my son didn't know which areas of our home I wanted her to clean) she ended up cleaning and moving things that I didn't want her to touch. And thus, 15 minutes of the time that I paid for went to waste. Again, this was NOT Karen's fault, she said the office sent her. Honestly, I would have let this go and not written a review at all, however, I called the office at 1:30pm two days ago and still haven't received a call back. Also, in the past, I have always received reminder texts in the days leading up to my cleaning appointment and usually receive a text or call to let me know that the team is on the way....this time, I did not receive any of those texts. Perhaps there has been a change in ownership or office management??? I can recommend the Maid in Orange technicians but am disappointed with the customer service. I was looking for a good clean last minute. The service sent me someone out next day I didn't quite know what to expect, but honestly, they did a fantastic job. In the past, I've struggled with maid who will clean things and not put anything back. They kind of just leave decor, plants, bathroom accessories wherever they feel like it. They just clean and move stuff. However, this service was amazing because not only did she put everything right back where she found it before she cleaned. But she also went out of her way to lightly decorate in areas that she saw needed it. Nothing crazy, but she just made my couch look cuter with organizing the blankets and pillow, things like that. My condo is only 1000 sq ft and I'm a minimalist and a neat freak so I thought they were a bit on the pricier side but I was most drawn to them because they do "cleaning for a meaning" and I think that is truly AMAZING, especially because cancer is something that has affected me and loved ones personally. I've used them 3x's now and have been happy with the results. They give a big window for arrival which I don't like but they text you 30 minutes before they come over and I really like that a lot. My place feels cleaner after they're done and that's what's most important to me, I don't want to feel like I need to do more cleaning after getting a cleaning. This service is very accommodating and helped with some deep cleaning. It cost $95 00 an hour, for two people. I asked if they could do it all in 3 hours. The ladies were really nice. I could tell one had more experience than the other and quicker. I asked them to start in the primary. I left the house with my dog for 2 hours and we stayed out of their way for the last hour. I made sure to ask could they be done within that time frame again she said yes. They had me check the work and the floor was still wet I did a quick check and approved the work. It was not till they left we noticed the floor very dull and went over it and it was still dirty. They had used a spin mop. Also the hose didn't smell clean. I called the company and the manager came and re cleaned my floors. She did a great job. I am glad they made it good. I saw the mop they used and it is not my choice next time I'll give them what I use. read more

You can book online, and even when they don't answer their phone, the admin is very responsive and professional via email and text. I sometimes book last minute, and they accommodate my asks. They text you when they're on their way and have always arrived within the window that I have booked. Payment options are flexible and usually pretty fair. If you are unhappy, the customer service is reasonable. Cleaning: I have always asked for the same lead cleaner (Amy) to come and clean our home, which they have always accommodated. As much as I don't want to share her by mentioning her by name, Amy has always worked hard get our home in amazing shape in the amount of time allotted, and is very friendly and responsive to requests. WARNING! THIS COMPANY HARASSED ME. My husband hired maid in Orange for me as a surprise and boy it was a horrible one. The staff was rude and didn't want go over the spots they missed with me. Instead they called their girl that does the bookings over the phone and she told them to just leave. They never finished the job. And they aren't cheap. I was texting the girl and told her I would leave an honest review about their horrible work and I was laughed at and mocked. I was even spammed with messages and was harassed. I had to change my phone number. Also most of their good reviews are fake accounts they create and they just write positive reviews for themselves. You can clearly tell what profiles are fake. I would definitely not recommend anyone to hire this business. Even now, I bet their response will be that my review is fake because they have never heard of me, & they can't find me in their system as a customer. That's their typical response for any other customer that leaves a negative review. They don't own up to their mistakes. Also, they wouldn't even be able to find me in their system regardless because my husband made the booking. But they still cleaned my apartment. And I still had an interaction with their team.
