Ladies did a good job cleaning out my rental property. On time and thorough ly cleaned everything.

I used simply clean for over five years and the past two have been the absolute worst. I'm not sure if the hiring team changed but the constant rescheduling, shortcuts by not upholding to the two hour window and then charging the full price, plus major misses on trash, toilets, and kitchen areas are unacceptable. I brought this to the attention of the owner and although I've let certain things pass over time, I recently started bringing it to his attention and there was no accountability. This last time, I determined it was best to consider other options as they came two hours late after rescheduling me for five days after the initial time, plus staying only 1.5 hours and attempting to charge me the full time, which is completely dishonest. I can't stand a lier and although I would never wish failure upon a company, this place is headed down an unbecoming path. read more

I really like that this business offers the option to book online, making the process simple and easy. I got the 2 cleaners for 2 hours for $170. We provided instructions on how to get to our apartment, and when we came home, the apartment was squeaky clean! The prices are super affordable, and their work was excellent! They read our notes about what we prioritized, and did a great job at cleaning spaces important to us. I'm excited to book them again for future cleanings. read more

I have used Simply Clean for years and recently ended my business with them due to their poor planning and customer service. I had booked my cleaning weeks in advance between the time of 8am to 10am to ensure my dogs will be at the groomers and someone will be home during the time of the cleaning. I texted to check in on their arrival and they told me that their cleaners won't be available until around 12pm! I have doctor appointments and other plans I cannot change. The worst part, they offered zero flexibility on my availability or a decent discount for their poor planning. They need to realize that people plan their days around the time they originally set!! ***UPDATE*** I filed a police report, and the investigator informed me ANOTHER nearby homeowner had her wedding ring stolen when the same two cleaners from Simply Clean were at her house, just a couple months before my wife's ring was stolen. Filiberto makes it sound like my wife lost her ring, BUT SHE DID NOT. Filiberto lied to me. The investigator also said Filiberto lied to him and was not cooperative with the investigation. She organized by hiding all our stuff . She did not clean well too . But I still gave them good tip . Never use again and will not recommend . read more

I'll start off with the good things... Pros: easy to book online Manager was responsive Arrived promptly Cons: Didn't know where to start and was told an unrealistic timeline because I had asked about organizing but no communication whatsoever to the crew. Took 20 minutes to figure out what and where to clean first and because there was a language barrier. Bad communication Cleaning felt very rushed (see pictures) Looks like their strong suit was just to clean the sinks, shower doors, and countertops but nothing else. One lady (younger lady almost looked like a teenager) cleaned my blinds and it was so aggressive that I thought she was going to break them until I popped out of my room then she started to be gentle. Left half of my bathroom dusty. My sponge was in my dish rack along with dirty bowls and cups which I placed in the sink to wash! Brought in additional 2 cleaners total of 4 but did not say anything to me that more people were coming for the last hour and still wasn't clean enough. Requested additional time because the communication between the manager and employees was bad so I paid an additional hour total of 3 hours to clean with 4 cleaning ladies! I felt the 2 additional helpers that came were friendlier and did more work than the main crew. Overall, very disappointed. read more

I've used a few housecleaning companies from Yelp but never was absolutely thrilled with any of them... until now! From the moment Isabel and Cindy walked into my house, they were driven to get it sparkling clean. It not only looked clean, it smelled clean. Even my kids could tell there was a big difference from the other housecleaners. I was upset with the last two companies because the bathroom walls and baseboards were left dirty. Not with these ladies! Kudos too to Filiberto in the office, who gave me the initial quote and instructed me on how to use the link to schedule an appointment. A lot of things appeared to be broken in our home immediately after the housekeepers left . Our PC/computer was dropped and broken. When they were cleaning we heard an extremely loud crash. If they would've just told us what they broke, we could've worked with them on this. I gave clear instructions when they walked in the door. My instructions were not followed. Because they only commit to 2hrs of service and they said they couldn't stay any longer than that, I asked for the bathrooms upstairs to be cleaned and for them to focus on the downstairs, seeing as it was the day before Thanksgiving I needed a clean kitchen. Unfortunately, my kitchen wasn't cleaned because they didn't have time. Total failure of following the direction given to them. After paying AND tipping housekeepers to do a job, I am disappointed as I'm cleaning up what they didn't, and fixing what they broke. Needed cleaning for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in an apartment and was quoted $160 for 2 hours with deep cleaning added. The ladies arrived on time and were very friendly. They finished the job in about an hour and let me know I would still have to pay the minimum 2 hours which was fine. After inspecting all the areas they did a good job for the most part, but there were some small areas I had to clean up after them. Overall I would say I received a good cleaning service! read more

Good responsiveness through Yelp messaging. They have a pretty convenient online booking system. I booked for a Move-in move-out deep cleaning on my rental property where I just installed some new flooring the day before they came and cleaned. Made the appointment for 10 am, got pushed back to 11 am just as I had hit the road (I live an hour away and noted this to them) and they arrived/started 11:30 due to traffic. I get how traffic works but it definitely made my schedule for the rest of the day rushed. Speaking of rushed, overall, I felt like this was treated like standard cleaning and not a deep move in move out cleaning like I ordered. Thankfully, they only charge by the hour. The cleaning of a 900 square foot living space with two full baths and three total sinks took only 2 hours. Efficient, I thought at first. Because of above said rushed schedule I could only do a cursory look over before I left for them to finish up and lock up. When I came back and continued prep work for the property for the new tenant, I noticed a lot of dusty spots missed on the ceiling that I had to clean myself. Then I had to do a double take on my newly installed wood flooring... water damage. My $2000 floor that's barely a day old got water damage! You would think that they would take better care not to leave water just sitting on wood flooring! Also, the new tenant noted that the collection of dirt and dust under the kitchen appliances like the refrigerator was still dirty. From my inspection, no attempt was made to clean underneath the appliances. Overall I got a rush job and would not recommend this company with how it messed with my schedule and damaged my home, much less need to hire someone else to clean it again. I would give 4.5 if option . I contacted Simply Clean OC the day prior and needed a project tightened up the following day for selling. There was no problem with communication and booking online was super easy. The deal was for 2 cleaners for 2 hrs and to come from 2pm-4pm. The ONLY issue I had was that the team arrived at 1pm instead of 2pm with no notification. If my contractor wasn't at the home picking up equipment, we would have had to interrupt our work schedule to let cleaners in. Great timing by contractor! It's the best feeling to have a clean home! I've been doing a monthly cleaning for over a year now. The girls are very nice and do a great job every time. The cleaning is thorough, and if you need them to pay attention to a certain area then you can just let them know. They know how to place every pillow and blanket to make your home look like a magazine - basically no signs of living, just how I like it Plus, you can't beat the price. I used to have another company come and it was more money, they took longer, and the cleaning wasn't nearly as thorough! One of the reasons I chose this company is they had a portable carpet cleaner. I don't think they still have it anymore sadly but I think a lot of people would want that type of service to clean up small carpet stains. Would love to see that service back! Wowww Woww Woww! I'm so impressed with the service and the result! Took them through what I wanted to focus on (bathroom and guest bedroom). They let us know that 2 hours might be too tight to clean the entire house. And I said just focus on the bathroom and get to the others if they can. They did beyond of what I was expected. I scheduled a move in move out and specifically indicated I wanted the oven and cabinets cleaned so I could easily put cabinet liners in. I opened maybe two cabinets and the oven before they left to check due to the hectic time of moving and they were decent. Then on move day I see how completely dirty and untouched this cabinet was. I found a pile of missed debris under the stairs. And walked around barefoot since I supposedly had nice clean floors and my feet turned black.
