After a few subpar experiences, I stumbled in Bomb Nail and I couldn't be more ecstatic. They are THE BOMB!!!! Easy parking near the GW Marketplace shopping, I never struggle to find parking or get an appointment. I call ahead because they are always so busy. Staff is incredibly talented. Bright, cheerful space with lots of seating. Repeat customers tell me a lot about a salon and I have become one of them. You won't find anyone complaining about their services. The techs are friendly and very talented from pedicures to dip and nail art. Everyone is quick and efficient in the services. I'm usually out in two hours for both nail and toe services. Additionally, Bomb probably has the most extensive nail color choices too in gel and dip color. Debbie is my all time favorite and phenomenal. She's an artist. She free styles the dip on my nails and is spectacular with nail art. I come up with an idea and she usually adds more style to it. Regular pedicures are a full service with hot towels and callus removal. It will run about $45 with gel color. Despite the prices listed online, I can't figure out the exact cost for my nail services. My first time, it was only $65 for my dip and nail art. Then the last few times my nail service jumped up to $100. I had the same service of overlay and art on my nails. I also am surprised you don't get any nail service like cuticle removal when doing the dip and for that cost. Leaving with a $145 tab (not including 20-25% gratuity) is a bit pricey and unexpected. If you're on a budget, perhaps stick to regular or gel services. They are worth it because my nails never chip, crack or break. My nail service lasts over 4-6 weeks but I come in sooner since they grow way too long. Nails are such an accessory statement for me and I'm thrilled I found a Denver salon that compares to my Arizona counterparts. Since I am a big fan of constant hand holding, my nails are always on point coming here.

Erin has been my stylist for over a year now and I have sooo many great things to say! Firstly, I feel she is a thru and thru STYLIST! She is up to date on haircuts and techniques and it shows! She has always given me a great haircut and amazing suggestions on what would look best and I have never left disappointed! Not only that, she is extremely capable with my thick Latina hair. Some stylist, see you and then forget what kind of cut or look you like, but not Erin! She remembers what kind of "look" I'm going for and helps me achieve it! Second of all, her trims are actually TRIMS! I've told stylist in the past I just wanted a trim and they would cut much more than I wanted! Erin always ask me first how much I want to be trimmed and always respects what we agree on! I live in Thornton but it is well worth the drive to Aurora! My experience was amazing. Jenny listened to me and looked at pictures and was very honest with me. What I wanted was not able to be done on my hair. We decided to go a different direction and she walked me through every step. I have never felt so confident in a hair person and Jenny really made my hair look amazing while being so upfront about what she was doing and why and she really took her time to tell me why my first pic was not able to be done. I completely ruined my hair. It was embarrassing. I showed up at the salon and just wanted it to be healthy. I was prepared for a short not so cute haircut. Amy showed me a pic of a haircut that I thought I could never have since my styling technique has been the same for years. I absolutely love my hair!! My previous stylist has changed jobs so I came to Jenny on her recommendation. I was really worried but I didn't need to be. Jenny was professional, funny, and my hair looks exactly like I wanted. Jenny is AMAZING....I head the worst situation happening on top of my head and she absolutely did magick on me! My hair was long and dead and dry. It was breaking and falling out right on top of my head. I cried and thought my life was over. Tig called me at 8:15 am on the Saturday morning of my appointment, which was scheduled for 10 am,…read moreasking me to come in 30 minutes early if I could. Almost didn't answer because I typically don't take calls from numbers I don't recognize, plus it was Saturday morning. This made me feel uneasy as a new client. Already felt like I wasn't a priority. After arriving at 10 am for full highlights and hair cut, it was going well until after foiling my head she put me under a hooded dryer. She left the room, returned to check on me maybe 10 minutes later, then left again and came back. I was reading a book and not watching the time but would guess I was under heat for at least 20 minutes total. The second time she came back, she removed me from the heat, but I wish I listened to my instincts and got up earlier, that I tracked her down to ask what's going on. However, I chose to stay seated and trust this new stylist recommended by a friend who has been going to her for 10 years. The foils were pretty hot, but I didn't want to rock the boat. My usual stylist (who is on maternity leave) never puts me under a dome dryer with a full head of bleach and foils. She lets me process at room temperature with nothing but my own head heat, or strategically hits certain sections with a blow dryer on low heat, which of course takes longer but is safer. Tig even commented that my hair is thick but fine; in hindsight, it was negligent use such heat. Apparently all lighteners contain instructions that say don't combine with heat. Once Tig began brushing, I noticed a lot of blonde hair on her fingers and in the comb. I asked if that was normal and she said yes, normal shedding. However, it was not normal shedding, and I have significant damage to my hair. My hair is dull and thinner on the ends as my braid is skinnier than before, even after getting my ends trimmed (should be the opposite). She wanted to flat iron because I was a frizzy mess, and I said please don't, as I could already tell it was looking bad. My usual lady only ever gently uses a hair dryer and round brush, producing awesome results. The framing hairs at the front of my part are most damaged (I remember that foil above my forehead feeling super hot under the dryer). The blonde hairs are short and spiky at my part. Money pieces fried off. And it's not just a few hairs, it's chunks right at the front that can't be hidden. I've been getting my hair professionally done for a long time so it's been 13+ years since my hair has been this badly damaged by overprocessing. Tig seems like a lovely lady, yet she was very rushed with me. I was just a transaction, and I wish I canceled my appointment when she called asking me to come in early because in my gut that didn't feel right, and now my long, beautiful, curly hair that I've invested considerable time and money in to maintain with highlights/balyage is scorched. She said she had two appointments after me which explains why she wanted me to come in early at the last minute and why she torched my hair instead of lifting it slowly without excessive heat. In her haste she also bleached over hairs she should've separated out, contributing to further damage (a technique I know, again, from my regular stylist). For context, I was in and out in 3.5 hours. My usual gal takes ~5.5 hours. Those two additional hours are so worth it to not destroy a client's hair, at least if you're a professional. I texted Tig when I got home as her next client was waiting. I also called the salon, and while I'm grateful Tig called back a few hours later, she was pretty defensive. Said she's being doing hair for a long time and always puts people under the hooded dryer. That she will send bonding product (lol) or a partial refund. An experienced stylist exercising care and prudence doesn't commit these kinds of errors. A full refund is the only way to make this right and why I'm leaving a long review. I've been shown enough disregard and am not available for more back-and-forth calls. Tig ought to try taking accountability for overbooking herself and rushing a new client appointment. Nothing will fix my crown but at least a year and seeing my reliable stylist who doesn't burn off my hair.

Which I found it odd that my stylist did not put me under the dryer to process. Then I have medium length hair not even to my shoulders and they charged me 80 for a long hair cut. I was not even discussed pricing in the chair as my appointment was booked in the salon Horrible service and when I reached out to the owner she offered nothing but a discount on booking a future highlight. I would think from my email and how upset I was she would offer a partial refund since I was promised one thing and got another.

She would listen to what you wanted, give recommendations, and overall make sure you were happy with the work she was doing and end result! One of my favourite parts about Clementines was the fact that they had QR code to scan so you could order drinks during your appointment. You can even go to the bar downstairs afterwards, which is super cute and had nice nooks to sit with friends. I also enjoyed their little corner with trinkets and items to buy. I've since moved from Denver area but to this day rave about this spot! Their services and team members are unmatched from other places I have been. Two years ago, I was the maid of honor for my mother's wedding and I witnessed my mom be absolutely treated like crap on her wedding day. This artist was contracted with Clementine's and her name was Cierra. She made comments to my mom about how her face was "asymmetrical " and she straight up said in front of everyone said loudly "your skin is aged". Everyone in the room was super uncomfortable with Cierra and she made my mom cry on her wedding day. Then Cierra showing a pic to Steph talking literal crap about my mom and all the bridesmaids heard it and she was literally laughing. Any comment my mom would ask her to fix she would just insult her and not fix it. Fast forward, this company gets an email from my mom who is upset and all they offer to do is "pass it on" to the stylist and that it "broke her heart" but offered nothing to make up for this terrible experience. You can look at all my Yelp reviews, I NEVER leave small businesses bad reviews but this is so unacceptable and unprofessional and I want to prevent any bride from experiencing this on their wedding day. As a business after hearing this you would think you would think you would work to fix it and make your clients who spent hundreds of dollars something to make up for this. NOT THIS PLACE. Future brides, please pick another salon that will make you feel special on your wedding day.
