The first of 4 breweries on our Cycle Pub crawl, this place had one beer that stood out as my favorite for the day. I continued on to sample over 30 beers that day (taster size) and at the end of the day I had the Road Rider on my mind. The Road Rider is a dry hopped red ale that is truly something special. Tons of great hop flavor on top of a malty caramely red base for a perfectly balanced and highly drinkable ale. All 7 beers I tried were awesome with the 2 IPA's coming in at the top. My sister brother in law who had been there before kept talking about the pulled pork waffles they had but we were there too early (1pm?) to have any so I can't tell you about those. So we settled on a couple house made soft pretzels with beer cheese dip and they were great! The pretzels were super soft and coated with some chunky sea salt. The cheese dip tasty like a sauced version of swiss cheese, a great pairing with just about any beer. Props to Jon from Cycle Pub to make this the first stop!

    Over priced establishment.

We have tried this place twice now. First time we said we would not go there again but it was shortly after they opened so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. They were out of beer and food items off of there menu both times we went. The beer really isn't that good. The food is over priced and not that good. They charge for a condiment!? That is crazy. The menus were wrinkled and had dry crusty food on them, so much that it was disgusting to touch them. The glasses were dirty with chunks of food stuck to them. They charge $2 more for a vegetarian option burger. They charge extra for cheese. This will be the last time we went there. Very very unsatisfying!

Mac heart attack. Everything a growing boy needs.

Wife and I went out to Oblivion last night - I have a bad habit of going out to new places during the first few day of their opening. Usually I'm disappointed. This was the exception. I have never had a better opening day experiencing in a micro brew pub EVER! Wife and I had a Knockout Stout (quite good) and a Snowblivion Winter Ale (liked the stout better). We shared the Veggie Antipasto (with a yummy Kim Che), a Sweet Beer Can Chicken (could have been Cornish game hens) and a Poached Pear Tart. All the food was way, way above average. Now if they only had good food and beer, well, that would get them 4 stars, but the quality service and obvious joy they took in working pushed them into 5 star rating. Our server, Amanda, was absolutely hyper (but in a really good way). Her attention to our table, and her awesome advice was outstanding - she even introduced to to the purveyor of the locally-made Kim Che. All the staff we interacted with felt like seasoned professionals - even though they had only been open for hours, not months. Everything just seemed to mesh. They plan to have outdoor seating available in a while. I will definitely be coming back.

    Awesome atmosphere and interior.

This place is great! The beer was good, the food was good, the service was fast and friendly, and my family had a good time. I recommend the Backside IPA fish and chips and the Smoked Salmon Sando. My wife and I shared both and they were both more than what I expected. If you bring a child, the White Cheddar Mac and Cheese was awesome! We will be back definitely!

Beer is awesome, as is the food. Everything is fresh and house made, including smoking of the various meats and fish. Bartender very friendly and helpful. We're from out of town; this place just made our list of places we must visit when we come to Bend.

The salad looked awesome, the quinoa burger had generous toppings and the pulled pork was different than I am used.

(Just go inside to avoid the mayhem. lol!) It's sweet that they create a fun environment outside there. A suggestion maybe would be create a small section outside. that's a no kid table for sunshine and drinking too. ;) it looks like they're making good use of their space. I noticed many changes since the last visit. Looks like they have a party room you could rent, lots of fun well designed swag for purchase, ect. Yay! It was the best veggie burger my husband has had in a long time... he added avocado and vegan cheese (which did make it a bit pricey). Awesome that you can do many different sides including regular fries, Cajun fries, salad, chips, and more options... do wish they had onion rings however. I got the hummus plate which was good but not the best I've had. It came with a baguette which was more like garlic bread so I would have, personally, liked pita more. It also had a few olives on the side with a red pepper type sauce. I got it with no pickled onions. They had a great beer selection and even a few tasty non-alcoholic beers. Also had kombucha on tap which was delicious (from Humm). Everyone working was super sweet and the vibes were relaxed and casual. Our food came out quick and exactly how we ordered it. They also seemed to have spaces for larger parties, too. They also have a little gift shop if you wanted to pick anything from shirts, to bottle openers, to beer candles and more! Would come back again!

As I write this review I see that it is coming up as an updated review as opposed to a new one…read more Back in 2017 for this entry this review was for Immersion Brewing but now my update is for UPP Liquids. I am not sure if it was a name change this brewery went through or but I suspect so. Because if this was a brand new brewery I imagine it would have it's own Yelp entry. But who can say for sure... maybe it was transitional activity that reached to what my review currently pertains to which is UPP Liquids. This is still a brewery and it's a good one. So I am bumping up a star here as I really enjoyed the beer I had by UPP Liquids. The name of the beer was called Pinball Wizard which is an Oatmeal Stout. I do like these kinds of stouts very much as I like the oatmeal that is at play here and what it contributes to the flavor profile. For Pinball izard flavor features in this beer is roastiness, maltiness, a hint of smokiness and a coffee flavor. This hit the spot in every way and it was a joy to drink. Even though these beers are great to have on cold, rainy day the day we had it was a bit more pleasant and still. But despite that it didn't ruin the atmosphere as to when to have this beer at all. It was such an enjoyable beer I rated it quite highly on Untappd which is my beer rater app for each individual beer that I try. So yes, trying out UPP for the first time was quite a positive impression.

So on our last trip to Bend we finally made it here to the their taproom and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a great stop! We got a taster set of a variety of different beers that they had on tap and they were all quite good. Many of them have a wild ale aspect to them which I can appreciate at you don't come across this beer too much on a routine basis. The taproom is cool and I love all of their art specifically where fermentation liquids spilled onto a sheet or a cloth making various designs and hues during the brewing making process of their beers. Other excellent beers that we have had from this brewery are the Samalie which is a Wild Ale. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because it was so amazing! Things to look for in the flavor profile are sourness, tartness, fruitiness, a natural sweetness and a dry finish. Really an excellent beer! Moving on from that we had the great Ping Pong Table Beer. This was another beer I rated quite highly and enjoyed immensely. This beer is light bodies, smooth and effervescent with the flavor of elderflower at work. Another excellent beer! Definitely great beer experiences with this brewery and definitely recommend it to the more adventurous beer drinking folks.
