Excellent salad bar! Get the combo meal it comes with rice, beans, soup, OR salad. Great service too.

I really enjoyed the service so friendly and welcoming. The food was so flavorful and felt very fresh. The chips were really good too! Would definitely come back.

Chicken Mole with rice/beans

Stopped by here on a road trip and glad that we found this gem. They were friendly and service was great. They provided chips and house made salsa, as soon as we were seated. I ordered their chicken mole and loved it! Chicken was tender and juicy. The mole was very flavorful. My entree had a choice of soup or salad, from their salad bar.

After the 4.5 hour drive to Eureka, my fiance and I wanted a decent place to find dinner. Our hotel receptionist referred us to a website of good local eats, but I always still consult Yelp to make a final decision. We decided to try Oaxaca Grill since it had good ratings and plus the food looked amazing. The food was in fact delicious and they gave relatively large portion sizes for the amount you pay for! The service was also awesome! After entering, we were approached by one of the staff members who took our order (there was no dine-in due to COVID precautions). He was very friendly and made small conversation with us since he recognized that we were from out of town. 4 out of 5 stars! Try Oaxaca Grill if you are ever in Eureka!

Gorditas

Always a pleasure to eat at Oaxaca Grill. The food at this Henderson Center family-owned and operated restaurant is consistently delicious and the service is warm, friendly and efficient. We eat here often. The soups are delicate and flavorful. I enjoy trying new dishes on the menu, whereas my husband has a few favorites that he stays with. Tried the gordita the other night--fresh, light and yummy. An excellent vegetarian option.

Huarache

OMGSH! This place is SO GOOD! They have a great salad bar. Lots of goodies. Tonight I got the Huachache with pork in green sauce. It's one of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had - seriously. The owners are amazing. Great service from very sweet people! This is a must try place!

Best Mexican food in Eureka and our favorite spot for takeout. Family that runs is warm and inviting.

Wonderful authentic food. I live right down the street and we always look forward to going when it's our day to eat out.

I would give it 3.5. Staff are very friendly. Burritos nothing special but we're filling and decent value. Would recommend the mole

We've been back a few more times since my last review so I figured I'd update since I have some…read morepictures this time. I'm still all about the chile relleno burrito so the last time we went I ordered one with carne asada and it was literally the burrito of my dreams. This time when we went inside I noticed a hand written sign above the cash register that said "The Raliberto" which was basically my chile relleno burrito plus carne asada, so I ordered it. I cut it in half, took a picture this time and noticed it wasn't the same, it had cheddar cheese instead of that delicious white cheese the relleno comes with, and I don't think the poblano was battered and fried, it was just a plain pepper that was stuffed with cheese- it was still very tasty just not the burrito of my dreams. I'm thinking since it was a special, they may have run out of the regular rellenos or perhaps they were cutting costs but next time I'll just stick with the regular chile relleno burrito. We also picked up an order of their other special, carne asada rolled tacos, which definitely don't need the added carne asada because guacamole is all them tasty suckers need but we snarfed it all down. I don't know when we'll be driving through again but this is a really solid spot that I'll always think of fondly.

I just throw in some beans and rice and lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. I mean, who puts lettuce in a quesadilla? To top it off, there was no silverware or napkins in my to go order. The taste is OK.

They also have Guatemalan items for sale over at the register. I decided to go for the garnachas, which is a Guatemalan street food, similar to a sope. These were like little mini sopes. . The corn masa cake base was delicious, and it was not over fried. The ground beef was seasoned very well, the veggies gave it a nice pop of freshness. The cheese was great, and I especially loved the sauce. The sauce just brought it all together. There was a little pile of jalapeño, onion, and carrot in the middle. I didn't touch the jalapeño. I tried the carrot and the onion, but they were too spicy for me. Not a big deal. It was a nice lite lunch, and with soda, tax and tip, the price was very reasonable. I definitely want to come back and try more items off of this menu. Thank you.

If only this restaurant was in LA, we'd be there all the time supporting this gem of a location because finding Guatemalan food is somewhat rare!! GYY, what a treat to find in Humboldt, the in dining experience would have also been superb as the location offers plenty of comfortable seating to choose from. We however were on a road trip and enjoyed all of the food including a passion fruit água fresca from the car!
