Based on reviews I decided to book with Grace; best decision ever. She has a calming & humble spirit about her that puts you at ease in such an awkward & vulnerable position. She was able to hold casual chat during the process, which takes your mind off the pain. She was very thorough, the process went by quickly, and yet I didn't feel rushed. The procedure was a bit painful for me (I'm a wuss!) but afterwards they put some cooling fans on my face and red light treatment to help with the sensation. I used the recommended aftercare kit, a few days after the procedure my skin was no longer red and after about 5 days most of the rough patches were gone. A week later my skin is smooth, tight, lifted and my pores and fine lines are almost invisible. I think it took 10 years of aging and damage off my face, my skin is incredible and I can't remember the last time it looked like this. If you're on the fence about Tixel just do it, it's worth it! I've also gotten a facial from Teri and Dysport from Christy in the past, both were amazing experiences. Have my next facial and Dysport booked and can't wait! Their prices are competitive and the staff is the best around. I recommend Elysian to anyone looking for some much needed pampering for themselves. Then my sister and I received mani/pedi's from Angie, Terra, Teresa & Lee who did a fantastic job. Making sure to check in with us about the shape and length we wanted, and continued to check-in throughout the mani & pedi. They were patient as it took us 17 business days to pick out a color (haha!). The environment was clean and beautiful - IMO the atmosphere of a salon can add or take away from the spa experience and this space definitely elevated the enjoyment of our time @ Onyx Nail Bar! The massage chairs were comfy, new, and relaxing. Some massage chairs at salons are too aggressive or painful. These chairs were not that! They also have custom "table top" platforms that allow the mani to be done while in the chair getting the pedi done. Other salons I've visited just have a pillow. We walked feeling refreshed and grateful for not only the space and time we got to spend together but also the staff that really worked at making sure we thoroughly enjoyed our time while in their care.
