I was surprised to see that they weren't on Yelp because most of the better-known tattoo shops already are, so I thought I would add them to try and do them a bit of a favour and try to make sure that they get better representation here.

Rating a 2 stars because of their customer service. I made an appt with Chloe online for a day…read morewhere they had a special deal and walkins were encouraged. (My appt was for 6 or 7pm I believe). When I walked in a bunch of people were there who I'm guessing were walkins. I told the guy I had an appt at the time i got there and he put me in line behind the walk-ins. this would've been okay if there was like one or two people in front of me but no there were five!! I decided to stay for 30 minutes past my appt time to see if I'd be able to get in quick, but she wasn't even done with the first person, so I decided to leave. My friend, who was a walk in and was one spot in front of me, didn't get her tattoo until like 11pm at night which is crazy because it was a mini tattoo deal. Point is, I had an appt but was still put in line behind walk-ins. Luckily I did not pay a deposit or anything, phew. Will not be going back This is not a post regarding their work.

I thought I understood piercings. Turns out not all piercers are created equally. 713 stays busy…read morefor a reason. That reason goes beyond its prime location and good vibes. Here, they pierce with integrity, they educate before, during and after. If there's a risk or problem, they tell you. They really make the process as efficient, clean, and painless as possible. I truly appreciate the knowledge. We learned that one of my friends has a slightly deviated septum, while another has one ear that would best fit a rook piercing, but all three of us agreed that this experience with Meagan was a 10/10 experience. After experiencing the aftercare from my septum with another piercing, I'll definitely be back if I'm looking for any other piercings. Just be mindful of the limited parking--it is Westheimer after all!

My friend and I got piercings on a Saturday evening at 713 Tattoo Parlour. She got her nose pierced…read moreand I got a helix ear piercing. The wait was about 1.5 hours and you must stay on site, so if you're able to find parking, I'd recommend just hang out in your car. Their customer service was really great, and the actual piercer was really cool. It was a very quick and efficient experience. They also have really beautiful jewelry options that are high quality. My friend often has really bad reactions to piercing jewelry and has had no issue with the jewelry at 713. They're pricing is very good too. I'd highly recommend. Also note, the girl who checked us in let us know that the best time to get piercings with shorter wait times is around noon. But either way, I'd recommend coming here even if you have to wait because it's just a pleasant experience.

Mike Packer and Joel's portfolio's speak for themselves but the customer service is beyond superb. While I was there tonight, 2 ladies getting their first tattoos were (understandably) pretty nervous. Overhearing how the artist, Kathryn, was treating her clients was remarkable. She made sure her client was comfortable and guided them through every step of the process. Tattoo shops are notorious for being snobby to first time clients. This is not the case for Packers. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and come here. If you're not in the area; the travel is worth it. Picture attached is one of many we are very pleased with. If I didn't send a message first, I wouldn't hear anything. Every response required me to follow up, sometimes multiple times. My appointment was rescheduled over and over, and then canceled the day before after I had already rearranged my schedule around it. This became a pattern of poor communication and last-minute changes. Meanwhile, I was never sent my tattoo design or kept updated throughout the process. Clients shouldn't have to beg for basic communication or wonder if their appointment is actually happening. There may be talented artists out there, but professionalism and reliability matter just as much. Unfortunately, this experience had neither. After wasting weeks trying to make it work, I requested my deposit back and took my business elsewhere.
