a hidden gem! first off, everything is pink. they have such cute decor for each holiday. oasis really feels like home. there's a small ordering counter with a pastry case next to it. all sorts of goodies: cheesecake, carrot cake, conchas, etc. the full menu features all day eats. my friend really loves their tamales. i opted for a bacon egg cheese potato breakfast burrito. FINALLY a place around here that doesn't make soupy wet breakfast burritos. it was large. it was piping hot. and it wasn't oozing soggy liquid out the sides. + salsa. it was perfection. and it was like 7 dollars total. iconic. they offer tons of fun drinks too! i had a horchata matcha. would highly recommend!! giant heated tent outside with plenty of seating. super attentive service. street parking. great pricing. nestled into the neighborhood. i am a big fan of this one :-)

This was a little slice of paradise. It's decorated beautifully for the holiday season. You can see the thoughtfulness behind is. The drinks are very tasty, pro tip: ask for half the sweetness. A little bummed they were out of the ornament cups but they have more on the way! The owner was incredible friendly and provided great customer service. The bacon, egg and cheese potato burrito was very filling and a great price!

My job takes me into new neighborhoods so I love discovering new places (new to me anyway!)! A client of mine had just moved to Clayton, and I had never been there before! Upon needing a snack, I saw bright magenta flowers and sans serif font calling to me from a small standalone restaurant with a parking lot in this big sky neighborhood! I pulled OVER! It was delightful inside and just as colorful and bright as the floral detail on the restaurant outside! It was a coffee shop, pastry shop, breakfast joint, and lunch spot all in one! I've been here 2x now and love trying different things and seeing new items in their pastry case! I got an iced coffee and some tacos! Special note from an uneducated salsa person: the red AND ALSO the green are BOTH spicy!!! :) Last time I was there, two ladies chatted me up outside. It's a true neighborhood spot. Oh, when I was there the time before, I chatted with another friendly patron as we waited for our food. Definitely a nice spot to hit if you're passing through and if I lived there, in Clayton, I would definitely be there often! Next time I'm going to try the chorizo/egg/potato breakfast burrito!

No seating inside but outside has a few tables. A hidden shop that is 5 minute from my home . My niece seen on tiktok so i stopped by to try.

Wow! This place is not disappointed with freshly made Mexican food and a really cool neighborhood atmosphere vibe to it. The service is super friendly and the choices on the menu leave you wanting to try all of it. We had the Azteca burrito in the Steak Tacos which tasted amazing!

I LOVE this place! Not only is the beverage menu highly creative, but the coffee and matcha is actually some of the best I've had in Denver! The food is high quality, authentic Mexican breakfast style -- plus they have a lovely pastry section!

The Horchata Iced Latte was amazing , and the vanilla concha was very fluffy . Didn't get to try the food , but love the vibes and atmosphere . The staff was very sweet as well .

The iced tiramisu latte is my favorite. All of the flavored lattes I have had here have been great.

I saw this was a new cafe, and had to try it out! To start the parking situation is a little sticky. It's nice because they have a mini parking lot in addition to street parking. However, one of their parking spots is hell getting out of. The decor was sooo pretty. The pinks, mixed with the greenery of the fresh plants, and autumn touches were mesmerizing. They had their menu in various places for customer viewing which was nice. They were a lot busier than I anticipated. They had outdoor seating, and a tiny bench inside to sit momentarily but no indoor seating or even room to do so. I am curious how winters will be. I ordered the tiramisu latte (after having the best one of my life in Arizona) and the chorizo, potato, and egg breakfast burrito. When ordering the guy behind the desk was pretty patient and also provided me with recommendations on what to order. The tiramisu latte didn't pack as much flavor as I was anticipating., I felt like it could've had more depth and flavor overall. It was a decent drink but could've been better. The breakfast burrito, you could tell, was cooked fresh. I appreciated the heat in temperature. I do wish that it had more flavor in terms of seasoning even if it had some bacon in it it would've been a little bit more salty, and that could've helped out a lot in this case, but also seasoning would've helped too. The chorizo pieces were also really tiny and unnoticeable. The are an okay spot but if you're looking for somewhere for aesthetic this is it

The best cafe I tried in my trip to Denver. The cafe de Dulce with oat milk was delicious, not too sweet and not too bitter. Food tasted fresh and satisfied my authentic Mexican food craving. The service was great and the seating area very cute and cozy.

This is the Michelin restaurant that you go to if you like a more casual / less stuffy experience. Food: 4 Every dish that we ordered was delicious, but slightly on the heavy side without anything light/acidic to break it up. Perhaps it's because of what we chose to order though! Frijoles Puerco: This was a play on refried beans and chorizo. The chorizo has a little kick to it. The sourdough tortillas were delicious and served fresh and warm. Callo De Hacha Al Horno: The scallops were a flavor bomb served in a serrano ponzu and tomato butter. I'm unsure why the scallops were cut into smaller pieces instead of left whole... Enmoladas De Pollo: This was essentially chicken enchiladas cooked in mole so I was skeptical if I would find this dish worthwhile. They proved me wrong as this was one of the best dishes of the night. The mole was flavorful, not too heavy, and the chicken enchilada was so well cooked. Birria De Borrego: The lamb shank was cooked until it was fork tender. After taking it apart, wrap it in a fresh and warm tortilla with refried corn beans and salsa. The lamb was well cooked and made for a good balanced bite, but it did feel special. Service: 5 We set at the chef table and was able to watch as they finished and plated each dish. The chef was attentive without being overbearing/annoying and we had a good conversation with him. Food came out at a good pace. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is small and cozy. It didn't feel stifling or pretentious as other fine dining restaurants can sometimes feel. This would be perfect for a date or dinner with friends.

Others in my party might not have felt that way. But nonetheless they enjoyed the entire experience. It felt like everything we ate (at first) was pretty spicy. But by the end, the spice level was coming down. Some of the highlights, the sweet potato, the sourdough tortilla with the chorizo burrito. The scallops. The cod. The birria. The mushroom quesadilla. So, pretty much all of it! I enjoyed everything that I ate! I'm interested to come back for happy hour, since they have a few different plates on that menu. For dinner, I'll keep it reserved for special occasions. Try and get a reservation, I think you'll enjoy yourself, if you appreciate craft cuisine. Good job, Alma Fonda Fina Team!

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!! Definitely a place to sit and eat there to enjoy the hot food. I'm originally from SoCal and a heavily populated Latinos with amazing tacos and food.. Taqueria La Familia passed the bar high!! We can't wait to come back and try other options and will update pictures and review then!
