    Total oasis!!

My job takes me into new neighborhoods so I love discovering new places (new to me anyway!)! A client of mine had just moved to Clayton, and I had never been there before! Upon needing a snack, I saw bright magenta flowers and sans serif font calling to me from a small standalone restaurant with a parking lot in this big sky neighborhood! I pulled OVER! It was delightful inside and just as colorful and bright as the floral detail on the restaurant outside! It was a coffee shop, pastry shop, breakfast joint, and lunch spot all in one! I've been here 2x now and love trying different things and seeing new items in their pastry case! I got an iced coffee and some tacos! Special note from an uneducated salsa person: the red AND ALSO the green are BOTH spicy!!! :) Last time I was there, two ladies chatted me up outside. It's a true neighborhood spot. Oh, when I was there the time before, I chatted with another friendly patron as we waited for our food. Definitely a nice spot to hit if you're passing through and if I lived there, in Clayton, I would definitely be there often! Next time I'm going to try the chorizo/egg/potato breakfast burrito!

This was a little slice of paradise. It's decorated beautifully for the holiday season. You can see the thoughtfulness behind is. The drinks are very tasty, pro tip: ask for half the sweetness. A little bummed they were out of the ornament cups but they have more on the way! The owner was incredible friendly and provided great customer service. The bacon, egg and cheese potato burrito was very filling and a great price!

Wow! This place is not disappointed with freshly made Mexican food and a really cool neighborhood atmosphere vibe to it. The service is super friendly and the choices on the menu leave you wanting to try all of it. We had the Azteca burrito in the Steak Tacos which tasted amazing!

No seating inside but outside has a few tables. A hidden shop that is 5 minute from my home . My niece seen on tiktok so i stopped by to try.

I LOVE this place! Not only is the beverage menu highly creative, but the coffee and matcha is actually some of the best I've had in Denver! The food is high quality, authentic Mexican breakfast style -- plus they have a lovely pastry section!

This is my new favorite matcha spot in Denver! Super nice staff and the food is really good and authentic. The strawberry matcha is my favorite but can't go wrong with the horchata!

The iced tiramisu latte is my favorite. All of the flavored lattes I have had here have been great.

I saw this was a new cafe, and had to try it out! To start the parking situation is a little sticky. It's nice because they have a mini parking lot in addition to street parking. However, one of their parking spots is hell getting out of. The decor was sooo pretty. The pinks, mixed with the greenery of the fresh plants, and autumn touches were mesmerizing. They had their menu in various places for customer viewing which was nice. They were a lot busier than I anticipated. They had outdoor seating, and a tiny bench inside to sit momentarily but no indoor seating or even room to do so. I am curious how winters will be. I ordered the tiramisu latte (after having the best one of my life in Arizona) and the chorizo, potato, and egg breakfast burrito. When ordering the guy behind the desk was pretty patient and also provided me with recommendations on what to order. The tiramisu latte didn't pack as much flavor as I was anticipating., I felt like it could've had more depth and flavor overall. It was a decent drink but could've been better. The breakfast burrito, you could tell, was cooked fresh. I appreciated the heat in temperature. I do wish that it had more flavor in terms of seasoning even if it had some bacon in it it would've been a little bit more salty, and that could've helped out a lot in this case, but also seasoning would've helped too. The chorizo pieces were also really tiny and unnoticeable. The are an okay spot but if you're looking for somewhere for aesthetic this is it

The best cafe I tried in my trip to Denver. The cafe de Dulce with oat milk was delicious, not too sweet and not too bitter. Food tasted fresh and satisfied my authentic Mexican food craving. The service was great and the seating area very cute and cozy.

Did someone say ceremonial Matcha? Hell to the yea!…read more I had bookmarked this place for our stay in Denver on our trek from California. We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.

I tried the Vanilla Latte which was nicely sweetened, creamy, and soothing. The espresso was pulled well and gave me the caffeine kick I needed to start my day. They have some bar seating here but the cafe also extends into the lobby where you can sit and have a slow morning if you choose. Good try!

We tried two of their seasonal drinks, and both were delicious! They were unique, well-made, and not overly sweet. You can definitely tell they put thought into their specialty drinks. Adding a few more sweet options would make the experience even better. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the drinks and the relaxing atmosphere.

I've had breakfast/lunch here as it's nearby my son's Rocky Mountain Pediatric ENT appointments. Walkable from the hospital but most importantly they have caffeine! The mugs, silverware, cutlery it's all spot on. Like you're dropping in for coffee or tea with an old family relative. The menu rotates seasonally and they always have something new to catch your eye but the classics are still represented. Lot of alternative milk options. The usual hot or iced. But some very unique flavors and merchandise for purchase. Tarot cards, puzzles, amazing gift cards, bandanas for sale, and books as well. I would definitely sign up for their recurring newsletter. It's one of the few emails that I get regarding local updates that I actually take time to read. Not just new menu items but also local community events affecting the Weathervane and other fellow nearby businesses. A huge bone the Weathervane tossed me was introducing me to Flying Moon Cabins. They are affiliated with the cafe but a rental cabin or property located up in Idaho Springs. I'll save my stay review for that Yelp page but very similar cozy vibes to this cafe. I'm not always in the area but when I am I always pop in for a drink and light bite.

The fruits sandwich made with shokupan bread was light and fresh, an excellent pick-me-up. This is a standard Japanese snack done beautifully. The beef curry wrapped in dough, crusted in panko crumbs, and deep-fried was excellent. The curry itself had real flavor and zest, and the surrounding crust was delicious too. Not only a great accompaniment, but also a very cool way to eat curry with your bare hands. A very generous serving too. My brother got the most beautiful-looking chocolate croissant!
