Breakfast sandwich and Happy Camper Latte
    Annette T.

Cute little cafe! Second time here, and I got a breakfast sandwich and a Happy Camper Latte. I really enjoyed the latte and it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. The sandwich was good and the focaccia so crispy! But I should've added some ham or bacon to make it tastier. I love how this place is like a converted house though. All the decor is so cozy and there's even a balcony upstairs. Highly recommend!

What a pleasant visit! I stopped in for the first time and ordered the Ham and Berry Chèvre with steamed cucumbers as a side & an iced sugar-free pistachio matcha latte for a drink. I dined solo on the sun-lit patio. Throughout my entire visit, the staff was incredibly friendly and affirming. I felt so welcome and safe in this beautiful cafe - I will most certainly be back!

A gem in the city. A cute little place. Great menu. Golden Milk Latte. Americano. Denver Turkey. Yum. The cucumbers were seasoned in an amazing way. I tasted dill. Salt. Pepper. Quiet and hushed tones surrounded. Slightly busy but still seating in a myriad of places. Cosy. Homey. Support local. I will return. You should also. You'll be glad you did.

Curry Chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips

Weathervane Cafe serves food and drinks made with love! Everything we tried was so good. I got a curry chicken salad sando and an iced pineapple matcha to drink. The sandwich was $11.50 and it was pretty big! My partner and I split it and we were comfortably full. The curry chicken was super flavorful and slightly sweet, very tasty and balanced. Pineapple matcha was really good- semi-sweet and balanced with a cucumber garnish. I really like the interior - cozy cottage core vibes with cute antiques and art. There are a good amount of tables on the outside patio and two floors of seating inside. Lots of cute books to hang and read. Note that they do not have WiFi. Not a good place to work. If anyone from Memphis, TN reads this review- Weathervane is what Otherlands wishes it was, complete with a cool little gift shop. This spot has vegan and vegetarian bites and alternative milk is available for drinks. This is a great spot to hang and catch up with a friend and grab a bite to eat! They also have gluten free bread for sandwiches.

Ginger fig oats, latte in upstairs seating area

The CUTEST cafe built into an old house. The upstairs seating area felt like we were visiting our super cool grandma. I appreciate the variety of breakfast options offered - we ordered two variations of oats, the apple cinnamon and the ginger fig. Both flavors incredible and ginger heavy (heads up). If you order for here they come in mason jars! It is a generous serving, accounting for the richness of added nuts and seeds, so I could barely finish it. I also ordered a latte with homemade orange and clove syrup! Logistics: - indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (downstairs and upstairs deck) seating - street parking and small parking lot to the side - cool stickers, shirts, clips, and other local artisan goods for purchase while waiting for your order

I've been meaning to stop by The Weathervane. A cute rustic cafe with outdoor seating a decent kitchen menu. We stopped by for a burrito and found street parking right out front. There was also a convenient order-online pickup table, if you happened to order online. Unfortunately the burritos all come with cheese and cannot be requested without as they are premade. That was fine as they had a vegan BLT called the TLTA, which subs the bacon for tempeh and comes with avocado. The wait was a little long, but they were busy so it is understandable. I would expect about a 15 minute wait for their sandwiches. The tempeh was pretty delicious, which in my opinion is not easy to do. The consistency was perfect. It was savory and filling. It may have been on the saltier, but I didn't mind too much. We got a cold brew and an iced chai. The chai was on the spicier side which I really like. All in all, a nice cafe with decently priced food. The drinks were on the higher side, but that is common for coffee shops in the area. The baristas were kind and I would definitely stop back here.

    Breakfast Egg Sandwich

This coffee shop has hands down the best vibes of any coffee shop in the entire city of Denver. The customer service was excellent. The aesthetic of the spot is so cozy and welcoming. It's decorated immaculately, feels like your grandmas house in the best way. We got the egg sandwich with one hot + one iced happy camper. It's great either way! We couldn't figure out which one was better. I will absolutely be back soon and whenever friends come to visit, this is the spot to take them! :)

Egg Sandwich, chai, Carrot Cake Oats and happy camper latte

Vegan friendly cafe with lots of seating. Their online menu states "no substitutions," but it's unclear if omitting items is a substitution as not all restaurants consider them one and the same. However, when I inquired about omitting the cheese from their breakfast burrito I was informed that they do not make them in-house and therefore cannot take the cheese out. I was really looking forward to trying it, but can't eat cheese. I had their carrot cake oats with oat milk and they were tasty and very filling, but they went very heavy on the raisins. I also enjoyed the happy camper latte. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich and chai. Overall it was an okay experience.

Great service, great ambiance, but if you're hoping to sit and get some work done or need a change of scenery from the office.... Sadly there's no WiFi. I get it if their vibe is human connection but I was personally looking for a haunt with great energy to work on the laptop and get some good food/coffee. The hunt continues...

    Denver turkey!

Im absolutely obsessed with this place. First off their espresso is INCREDIBLE ! Second off all the food is amazing. I've been on a denver turkey kick. It has pickled onions and Housemade salsa that has just such an incredible flavor. I also love their breakfast burrito and they're overnight oats. I love that they toast the sandwiches to perfection thanks for existing weathervane cafe

Muffuletta sandwich (greens are fresh spinach)
    Gumby H.

Got the Italian Turkey for $12 w $2 for the gf bread (good taste and toasted), so it was 14. The Muffuletta for $12 that was on a great crusty ciabatta. Cute place, clean with outdoor seating, cowprint umbrellas and a colorful front. Nook area with a mixture of interesting things and crafts for purchase. Food was nicely made by a very friendly and welcoming staff. Parking can be challenging but its worth it. 2 high stairs with hand rail to get in, a touch difficult for disabled. Thumbs up rating. Will go back. Current prices on their website.

The matcha and vibes are 10/10! Note that there isn't WiFi, so if you're looking for a place to work this isn't it. But otherwise I love it!

On a whim, I decided to see if I can find any Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters on hand at any of the shops and lo and behold, Google Maps told me that Talulah Jones had some and I went to double check on their social media account and they do! The shop is located in downtown Denver and is fairly easy to find from the gold sign front, the art of the animals having tea time outside, and just from the cute set up of the goods they have in the storefront. I was immediately welcomed when I stepped in and I say this with the utmost praise, but it's a cute, cluttered, maximalist shop! Piled from the ground up and onto the walls are super cute decor, knick knacks, toys and so much more. Perfumes, greetings cards, stickers, blind boxes, clothing for toddlers and infants, stuffed animals, unique hair clips and trinkets, felted ornaments, cuckoo clocks, clothes for adults, and so, so much more. If you're a child you can definitely spend hours in here and even as an adult shopping for a gift for a child or yourself, you'll spend a good chunk of time looking through their wares as well. I believe they are quite popular for their Jellycat plushies as I heard people ordering and inquiring about them on the phone and saw some customers purchase some. I managed to find my Calico Critters on a tall shelf but a staff was able to assist me. I got the Walnut Squirrel Family which is my favorite family (not in stock on their official online shop during this time and I didn't want to pay import taxes) and they had the Happy Christmas Family which I believe was only released in the UK/Japan, so I can't even find this one online on the official shop. Score! I also got some cute puffy stickers. For bypassing the tariffs and shipping, I think Talulah Jones is a fair, affordable place, at least to get Calico Critters. Would love to visit again.
