We sat on the patio with our two toddlers and dog. There were a lot of flies and it was a bit hot but we wanted to be outside so that is on us! The flowers surrounding the restaurant are so pretty. We spent a moment admiring the fuzzy bumble bees before leaving. The food was good too. I got the special BLT. I can't remember the exact name but it had sprouts and avocado in addition to the BLT part. I put some fry sauce on it and it was delish! The sweet potato fries were great too. My husband said they were better than the regular ones he ordered. He got a burger and he said it was average (not bad, not mind blowing). My 3 year old enjoyed a plate of 3 small pancakes and bacon. He said it was "really good"! We visit Kamas a lot for our camping adventures, and we will definitely be back! It was slightly more pricey than average; we paid $55 for two entrees, a kids meal, and an iced tea (with a tip). Not crazy expensive but a little more than comparable diners (e.g. Blackbear Diner).

We were seated at a table in far end of the room. Once seated it's hard to get in and out from the wall seat because the table are pretty close together. I ordered the Spinach, Mushroom and Swiss 4 Egg Omelet. They asked me if I wanted 2 or 4 eggs and I chose 4. As a substitute for the potatoes, I opted to choose the avocado which came as a slice 1/2 of avocado. For my toast option, I chose the single pancake, but could also have chosen a scone. The scone wasn't on the menu as a option, so I missed this when I ordered. My omelet was very flavorful, although a bit dense. I attributed that to the 4 eggs fitting into a 2 egg form factor, but I really don't know that for sure. The avocado was a good complement to the omelet and worked out very well. The pancake was delicious. There was syrup on the table and butter came on the plate. I gobbled it right down and thought that I maybe should have got another one. I have eaten here before when I was in the area, and will likely return again when up here. The busy nature of the restaurant is offset by the good quality food.

We tried their restaurant downstairs too with our kids and the only thing that's was disappointing was that the lights were so bright that it didn't feel like a relaxing dinner for the whole family. I would suggest the manager to dim down a tiny bit and maybe some low soothing music just to give more of an ambiance. Service downstairs was excellent as w head a really big party. Their corn bread is to die for. Be sure to get some. Their best appetizer in my opinion is their smoked pulled pork sliders. It's good place to get dress up and have a bite or have a chill night with the fam if you don't feel like cooking for everyone.

They offered a curbside service in 2020 that was very popular but have discontinued that venture but reopened the beautiful upstairs dining room and bar, with a magnificent view of the Kamas Valley. As they start to emerge from the COVID crisis, the menu is still somewhat basic, and they do not appear to have a full-time chef or even much kitchen staff. I've only eaten lunch there, so it may be different in the evening. If you calibrate your expectations towards a beautiful place to sit and talk and eat bar food style fare, then you'll get that for which you went. I'd go more for the atmosphere than the food right now. They seem to be focused on catering events, for which they are wonderfully suited. They also appear to be just nursing the restaurant along, using the super friendly and engaged service staff for the double duty of cooking and serving and playing it safe until the economy supports more investment in their restaurant. We still go there when we're in the mood for what they offer. I hope to upgrade my rating as they restore their business back to its former state, which I fully expect. They seem to be good business people balancing keeping the doors open and not losing money so they have a healthy business to bring the full staff back to once sanity is restored.

The restaurant is further Park City and Kamas than I expected even having checked on the map before driving, just FYI for those thinking this is near PC. BUT as a local Parkite, I did see people I know also dining there for their Sunday Brunch. We had made a reservation, but I guess if you only do it 1 day in advance it's not on the paper they print out, so they weren't prepared for us. And I don't know if they were shorthanded at 4 staff members on the floor (1 was the owner, 2 were waitresses, 1 was a busser), but we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Despite this, they were all very kind and had good costumer service, just slow. Woodland Biscuit Company is a very small restaurant. During the good weather months they have outdoor seating too, which helps to accommodate more parties. But this is not the place to bring large groups. Of course you come for the biscuits. They offer "first come, first serve" cinnamon roll biscuits but as we were in the late brunch crowd, they were sold out. So we settled on The Messy to split but my son didn't like the granola on top BUT that also didn't stop him from shoving a 1/4 biscuit in his mouth at a time. The rest was good too - eggs and bacon plate (served with a small biscuit), and croquettes madame (on top of a large, flat biscuit).

Drew takes Haley to Sill's every time she visits, and Haley had been raving about their scones for quite a while, so she really wanted us to try it. We went for breakfast our first day there, and OH MY GOODNESS...we were impressed! The place was PACKED. We actually had to wait to get in, and I haven't seen a restaurant that busy in a long time. But you know what they say...if a place is that packed, they must be doing something right! I ordered the Boss Breakfast, which came with hash browns, two scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and a scone. I had NO idea I was getting such an enormous portion. The hash browns had some kind of pepper gravy over the top, and it was incredible! And then there was the scone. It comes with honey butter on top, and OH. MY. GOSH. These things are dangerous. I could eat approximately 10,000 of them if they wouldn't make me weigh 10,000 pounds. They are THAT good and completely addicting! We loved it so much that we went back again on our last day in Utah, this time with Haley and Drew's mom. I ordered the Mini Breakfast thinking it would be a smaller, more manageable portion...and it was STILL huge! This time I got the hash browns deep-fried, which were absolutely delicious, along with sausage links, an egg and, of course, another scone. I ate a little more than half of the scone and was so full I could barely eat anything else! I ended up packing the rest to send home with Haley, and she enjoyed it for breakfast the next morning. The service was very good, especially considering how incredibly busy they were. They were turning tables over constantly, and the restaurant was full of families. I loved seeing all the little kids sitting around the tables and families enjoying breakfast together. It had such a fun, welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Between the huge portions, delicious food, those ridiculously good scones and the great service, and amazing prices, Sill's Café definitely lived up to the hype. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in Utah visiting Haley and Drew! And I already know I'm going to be thinking about those scones until then.
