Excellent company, after my truck was rear ended I brought it to Oakley Collision, the office staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they worked with the insurance company that was responsible for my vehicles damages, and they were thorough in explaining the work my truck would need. The experience here was so pleasant and stress free. When I got my vehicle back after the front and rear bumpers were replaced, my truck looked brand new and was fully detailed inside and out, all cameras were recalibrated. Unfortunately was hit by a car on the drivers side rear tire which spun me around and went into another car. Car that hit me took off. Occurred on a Sunday and none of the body shops were open or picking up the phone. Thankfully Scott picked up the phone on a Sunday morning. He helped arrange the tow truck driver to drop the car off at his shop. He communicated with update's regularly. Took a little longer due to delayed delivery of parts. The car came back brand new (got hit 2 weeks after buying brand new with 500 miles on it). Scott and everyone I communicated with at the shop was professional from beginning to end. Don't know where I or my car would be without Scott. He also refused to put non Toyota parts in (21st insurance wanted to put 2nd hand parts in). I had two experiences at this body shop. The first one was great with Scott and the folks working here really cared about providing topnotch customer service and making sure I left satisfied. The labor cost was definitely reasonable for replacing the passenger's side mirror. The second experience was not so much as I was disappointed for being charged a $100 labor for a fifteen minute 'minor' job. I even offered all cash in hope to reduce the cost but Scott was not flexible at all this time. I do believe the fair price for this job should've been cut in half. Not excited about the different price quotes given at different times! Even when offered used parts to replace the damages ones, the cost was above what was originally quoted... I believe potential customers shopping around for a body shop should be entitled to read my review and be informed about what they should be cautious before making a decision for themselves. while I was not technically your customer, as a business owner you are expected to earn any potential customers' business by providing reliable information. You are the expert, not me! Based upon your "rough" estimate of $5,000 to $5,500 max (also confirmed by my own insurance quoting us $5300 for the repairs), we made plans to have it fixed at your place. However this did not happen after you increased it by close to 2k! Again, I did not criticize your work (you are highly rated on Yelp which is why I called you originally), however part of being in business is customer service and estimating time and cost. My Tesla Y was hit by a landscaper I called a few places near Brentwood and no body shop would take my Tesla. I was so happy that this place took it because they've worked on other cars we've had. They did an awesome job and very professional. They are in constant contact with your vehicle process every step of the way. This has been a really good month for us. We found a terrific roofing company, our long time solar company did another great job for us, and we found a body shop that we feel good about patronizing. After my first serious accident in 40 years I naively accepted the insurance company recommendation to take my car to Jim's Autobody in Antioch. Big mistake, long story short they did a bad job and Mercury Insurance eventually allowed me to take and have Oakley Collision redo the entire job, and it was a big job, and they did it with good communications and professionalism that was a pleasure to experience. I was able to meet three generations of the family of the man that owns Oakley Collision. The youngest of the three generations (Scott) is the owner and he's running a fine business. He and his front office guy RJ represent the business very well and give real confidence that they care and understand how important my car is to me. He replaced my radiator as well, I saved over a thousand dollars. Compressor was find once he found the issues.
