So we found out a family member's sunroof had been vandalized, and, fun fact: their insurance they had been lying for over 25 years (looking at you, Liberty Mutual) didn't cover it. After some research I called Xpro Auto Glass and spoke with Rick. Super friendly, walked me through exactly how the process works and what to expect (major relief). They got us a quote as soon as the glass came in, called that same day, and scheduled the tech. Enter Raldy, the absolute MVP. It was pouring rain, yet Raldy came out, fixed the sunroof in what felt like no time, and left the car spotless (seriously, not a speck of glass left). 10/10. I picked this company due to all the reviews I read. The communication was great, but the quality was not the best. I had a broken windshield for 5 years. The crack went across. Finally decided to change it. Appt 1- technician called to let me know he was on the way. Came within the time frame window. Replaced my windshield in less than 2 hours. Gave me instructions regarding tape removal, when I can wash my car and when I can drive. Drove my car 2 days later and I hear squeaking all around when I was driving on the freeway and though neighbors hood, constant squeaking. Took of the tape 3rd day and the squeaking was still happening. Reached back out to the company and they said the squeaking should resolve once the tape was removed. Explained the squeaking was still happening in even after tape removal. Explained a tech would come by to look at car. Appt 2- tech arrives (same as appt 1). Asks where the squeaking is. Explained to him it's all around. He asked if I was sure. I said drive my car and listen for yourself. He said no, it's ok, I just want to make sure it's squeaking. I said, it squeaks and you'll only know for yourself if you drive my car. Refuses. Takes a look and says, I can see here there might be an issue but I won't be able to replace the glass without having an extra glass on hand. We will have to reschedule with an extra glass on hand. Appt 3- new tech arrives right at the end of the time window. No call giving me a heads up that he's close. Just calls right at 2:00pm that he's outside my house. The extra glass is in the truck. Starts working on my car and finishes roughly less than 1.5 hours. Explains the whole whole tape removal and when I can drive. 4 days later, I removed the tape. SQUEAKING AGAIN. Specifically at the top of the windshield. Reached out to the company arranging another tech inspection/ replacement. At this point, I'm pissed cause although my original glass had a crack, it never squeaked! And the squeaking is annoying. Appt 4 - tech arrives at my house (different tech again.) inspects my car and says "you know the problem is? The molding, look at the molding." He continues to repeat himself and makes sure I look at the molding. At that point I'm frustrated cause ok cool, Yeaa it's the molding, but who does the molding? I asked, it's the tech right? It's the tech that does the molding with the glue? He says, I'm gonna replace the glass and hope it fixes the problem. I said, clearly it's not the glass, you've already said it's the molding, but it's the tech who does the molding? So technically the tech didn't do a good job. Finally answers the question, and said yes, it's the tech. 3 WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENTS LATER. I removed the tape 3 days later, which I've noticed the techs have not uniformly tape the windshields. It's always been roof to windshield, but this one decided to tape the borders but not even border to windshield? And upon removing the tape, the paint comes off?? Has the squeaking stopped?? Not sure yet. The paint removal prompted me to right review sooner than later. Update 03/02 My windshield has minor squeaking but ever since I got my windshield replaced, I've had excessive moisture in my car. read more

The '25 Prologue I was driving still has temporary plates and it got its first battle scar. Something hit the front passenger window while it was on the freeway and it shattered the glass. Called a couple of places and gravitated towards X Pro. They have mobile service and gave me a 3 hour window. Ricky the sales rep worked with me on the scheduling. He made everything go smoothly despite a few changes on my part. So he earned my business. I thought he was hilarious when he started buttering me up on how Prologue is a very special car. Can't blame him for trying but he should know to close the deal when he got the business. Anything more actually risks loosing the deal. A simple "Thank you for your business. Our techs are highly trained and will take good care of you" would have been a perfect close. Henry Martinez called 15 min ahead of arrival and was pretty much on time. Given it is a new car and he worked in the client's presence, I'd say he did a fantastic job. The perfectionist in me was able to nit pick a few things. Yeah, the broken glass will be sitting in the bottom where it is too tight for the vacuum to pick up even with the crevice tool. He made reasonable effort and did ensure I was ok with it before moving on. The glass replacement process was fluid! This guy is experienced! All in all, I can't complain other than the fact that the incident happened at all. I'd say well done! And would definitely come back if I need to replace my auto glass again. Miguel is professional and fast with communication, however, the technician is very hard to work with. I parked my car on the side of a public street to get the window replaced. I gave him my car key as well. I want to stay close to my car during the repair process because I don't feel safe leaving my car there, and also I have no where to go. But the technician rudely tells me to leave, and said he will charge 25 bucks extra if I don't leave. It's my car and I paid my service fee, I have the right to watch and make sure my car is in good shape. read more

Would definitely recommend - Experience: I had such a great experience with Xpro auto glass repair service, I called on 9/5/2025. They were extremely efficient, almost to the point where it was too good to be true and I thought there would be some sort of "catch." The staff was professional, the quality of work was excellent, and the turnaround was faster than I expected. I really appreciated how seamless the whole process was. Price: When I checked out their website, I just wanted to get a quote and they called me within 1 hour of me filling out a form for requesting their quote. I had a giant crack in my front windshield window that I needed to get fixed. I paid $365 TOTAL - which included everything including them driving TO MY HOUSE, replacing the glass, and taxes. Service: I really like how transparent they were about pricing. They gave me the price, told me that it included tax/labor and were even able to get a guy out to my house THAT SAME DAY. I requested the quote at 10 am, received a call around 10:40 am ish, and had an appointment so wasn't able to go home until later and asked them to come to my house anytime after 2 pm. They said that they could make that work and were able to get a guy to come at 3 pm that day. He took only 40 minutes to replace my window and took the whole cracked windshield window with him so that I didn't even have to worry about disposal or anything. I was able to pay with my credit card and the whole process literally was so easy. If needed, they even said that they could meet me where my appointment was and get it done while I went to my appointment (but my appointment was short so I wanted to be home). Rain + California Highway = bad combo. I received not one but THREE cracks and chips on my Tesla's windshield in the span of a week. The tiny rock projectiles that fly up from the highway were like deadly missiles out to destroy my car. My Tesla Model Y is brand new so I wanted to get the best possible repair. I called a bunch of different autoglass repair shops but I knew my car was in the right hands when I called Xpro. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE I spoke to David on the phone and he was so easy to talk to and he genuinely seemed like he cared about my car. I've used XPro twice now and they have been amazing both times! First was for a windshield replacement and the second was for a quarter glass; both were same day turnaround on a Saturday. I originally had my windshield replaced in early 2024. Everything seemed fine. A coupe weeks after my windshield was replaced my rearview mirror fell off the windshield. They came back to fix it but it happened again. They came back to fix it once again. All was fine until about a month ago when the rear view mirror once again fell off the windshield. I got my windshield replaced 3 1/2 months ago and yesterday my rear view mirror and whole unit broke off in my hand. I called and they said it's been more than 30 days so sorry it's not our fault! I took it apart and the metal plate piece is bent from how they pry it off of my old windshield. It can not be repaired and they don't just sell that metal plate so now I have to buy a whole new unit. How would I have done that??? Terrible customer service and no accountability. Go to Safelite. I do not recommend anyone use Xpro Auto for your window replacements. My mother's windshield was replaced by them in August, all seemed fine until the weather changed and she had excessive moisture inside. Initially Xpro was helpful and replaced the windshield at no cost, however, the replacement did not fix the issue and with rain persisting, the carpet was becoming damp. The owner sent over a detailer to try and resolve it, the detailer told him that he cannot fix this and the carpets were soaked. I've attached a photo of the soaked foam inside the windshield that should have been dry. The detailer they sent even acknowledged that this isn't good and noticed an unhealthy mold smell, he said if it were him, he would take the car to the dealership as they'd know how to handle it. After a lot of back and forth with David at Xpro, with no real solution, it continued so we decided to do just that. We paid out of pocket to have her car inspected, not only to diagnose the cause of the moisture, but also to assess the damage. As a result the car was deemed undriveable. The carpeting, and foam underneath had developed toxic black mold. The cause was confirmed to be from a poor windshield seal. We communicated with XPRO and asked for their insurance information because clearly it would be a pricey repair. There were a lot of issues with communication once we got to this point, we were given 2 different insurance company names and it just seemed odd. Clearly after 2 poor window replacements from XPro and going through the headache of not having a car for a month, we were not going to have Xpro replace the window a 3rd time, and risk another poor seal. Instead the dealership handled all repairs and took care of everything for us. For whatever reason, XPro's insurance provider advised us that they did NOT cover the cost of the windshield being repaired. We directly reached out to David, at Xpro regarding this and expecting reimbursement, as it was proven multiple times, by multiple sources, that the root cause of the damage was from the poor windshield seal done by XPro. Not sure why his insurance didn't cover it, we were never told this until it came time to pay. At this point David ghosted us, and is choosing to not do the right thing as a business owner. Instead, it feels like he's expecting this to go away. We paid out of pocket for the windshield replacement, something that was caused by his employees, his company, his work. Odd being a window company and having a lifetime warranty but when something goes wrong you dont follow up with your customers and make it right. We waited and gave him time to respond, however it's been WEEKS we are still waiting on the response from Xpro to resolve this issue. As a result, we DO NOT RECOMMEND XPRO for any window needs, I would not want any other consumer to deal with the same issues and headaches we have had. The time AND money we forked over as a result. I appreciate honest reviews, when searching for businesses to support. If something goes wrong it is very difficult to deal with them and in the end they are ignoring our request to reimburse us for out of pocket damage expenses caused by their company, It's not our fault their insurance coverage wasn't sufficient, as a business owner that' s your responsibility to make sure you have coverage, your customers should not be inconvenienced the way we have. I would definitely research other companies or go through your insurance when dealing with window repairs to save yourself the headache. read more

I contacted them to repair a rock chip on my two cars. They came out and "repaired" both windshields. This consisted of drilling into the glass (apparently to stop the spread of small cracks} and to allow the resin to penetrate. He then used a tool to force the resin into the chip and cracks. When he got done he smeared some clear resin over the outside and pressed a plastic square over it. He gave me a new razor blade and told me to scrape off the resin the next day.i did so and as i got to the center a piece of the resin in the hole popped out. This left a small crater on both windshields. The came back out to fix it. Applied more resin and scraped it off a few minutes later. The result is not good. Not only are the rock chips MORE visible but if I run my finger over the site I can still feel an indentation. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR REPAIRING GLASS. See the two photos. This is what it looks like from inside. David's response is total BS. First, I can still see the cracks in places, so I doubt that it will not continue to crack. Secondly, this result (see pics) is nowhere near what I have experienced in the past, nor what you can see dozens if not hundreds of examples where the end result is not perfect, but is better than it was. The same cannot be said about the two repairs on two entirely separate vehicles (2018 CRV, 2020 Forester). One would think that a competent repair would have improved one or the other. However both of them are far more obvious and far worse than they started out. Even after the second visit, the outer surface is not flat. There is still a dent/crater that was not filled. This is not just sour grapes. This is clearly an incompetent repair X2. I highly recommend that everyone steer clear of this place, Incidentally, the repair he is so strenuously defending was apparently subbed out. The vehicle that showed up to do the repair said Gateway Auto Glass on the side,which is in San Ramon and XPro is in Danville. read more
