Man this shop was awesome! The employees here are so thoughtful. They pointed out other things that were messed up about my car before they began the glass repair, so that I am aware. The entire process of scheduling the appointment and dropping off the car, to picking up my car was smooth as butter. Once I picked up my car, they gave me clear instructions (48 hours of no car wash, 24 hours of leaving window slightly cracked so that it helps w the pressure of window sealant), and they also mentioned that anytime there's a chip on the window, just bring a receipt as there is a lifetime warranty where they will help me fix it at no charge. They also went above and beyond and saved the oil change service date sticker after removing the front windshield, and left it on my dashboard so that I can have a reminder for my next oil change date :') Wonderful service! I called and asked for a quote (they give a cash discount) and within 2 hours I had a new windshield on my truck! They had a few openings the same day so I got the first appointment and it only took them like 20 minutes to replace it! They fixed up my windshield chip on two separate occasions, and each time they exceeded my expectations. The first time, I took it in and the scar left on the glass after the repair is smaller than a grain of rice. I thought I got just lucky. A couple years later, I got another chip (thanks, 880 in Oakland) and so I took it in the very next day. The guy took a look and said there's a chance the repair could cause the crack to run across the entire windshield, and that I'd have to get the glass replaced completely if that happens. I consented anyway, and the after is so much better than I expected. This chip was a double chip (I had no idea that was a thing) and now it just looks like two dots about the size of a grain of rice each. Did i get lucky twice? I think they're just really skillful. Thank you Low Price Auto Glass! Pro tip: call ahead and ask for the cost so you can bring cash. (My double chip was about $85 iirc.) You'll get a $10 discount if you pay with cash. read more

Requested a quote for a windshield repair for a chip the size of a quarter on a Sunday. Shant was responsive and I was able to set an appointment for the next day at 9am. I was quoted $80 for the Yelp special. I got there and they checked me in and had me fill out a form. I waited for about 20 minutes when one of the receptionists said she can help me. She informed me that the technician created a larger crack in the windshield and that I will now need to get it replaced. Didn't even offer a discount on the replacement for what their tech did. It is true what they say - low prices doesn't always mean quality. Responding to Shant: Your tech screwed up - own up to it. Your form is a cop out that you hide behind so that if something goes wrong then you can claim you're not at fault. Your form didn't say anything about your tech being the cause of more damage. You're a business and are supposed to be professional and your techs should be skilled and knowledgeable. Also, your staff didn't bring up anything about insurance, I did. Going through insurance isn't a discount. Instead of arguing with customers on Yelp about their reviews go worry about training your techs correctly. read more

My Tesla had a big crack on the windshield. We were about to go on a long trip out of town and Tesla service was booked up, so we took it to Low Price Auto Glass because they said they could have us come in in a day or so. We brought it in and they replaced the glass, but on the way home we noticed a lot of air and wind noise coming in the left lower corner of the windshield, and there was no heat on the drivers side (it was a cold winter day). I brought the car back the next day and the service person said it would take several hours to fix the problem. That was the day we were supposed to head out of town on a long trip so I just brought the car home and used our other car for the trip. I had a suspicion they did not know what they were doing so I did not want to bring the car back to them and scheduled a repair session with Tesla. At Tesla they removed the windshield and showed me that Low Price Auto Glass did not apply proper primer to the glass rim before putting on the adhesive around the glass, and also did not apply enough adhesive to glue the windshield in place. On top of that, according to the Tesla technicians, they used improper tools to remove the glass and chipped the paint on the pillar as well as chipped a part of the glass on the roof where the windshield meets the roof. Low Price Auto Glass also did not calibrate the sensors on the replacement windshield according to Tesla. I had asked the folks at Low Price Auto Glass if they had any training on Tesla windshields, and their response was "we've been doing windshields for a long time" which to my mind was not a proper answer. I had to pay full price to have the problem fixed and will never do business with Low Price Auto Glass again. Actually the price they charged me was not much less than Tesla, so you are not saving any money considering the time and effort it took to fix the problem. Low Price Auto Glass did not offer any refund. read more

I called several other tint places and they informed me that they would have done all my for windows $400.
