A rock chipped my windshield on the freeway, and I contacted Ismael in the morning. He was extremely responsive, arrived at my house just a few hours later, and fixed the chip in about 20 minutes. Ismael is friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job. This was by far the best experience I have ever had getting a windshield repaired. If you need a windshield fixed, call Ismael at Moran's Auto Glass, you won't be disappointed! read more

My family has used Moran twice this year with excellent results. He did a beautiful job on our Lincoln SUV and Toyota truck which is why I reached out to him to replace the windshield on my Acura. As expected, he got back to me very quickly with an estimate and his availability. His pricing is always exceptional and his calendar is fairly open. As it turns out, we ran into a hiccup when installing my windshield (through no fault of Moran's). When he removed the cracked windshield, he found that the Acura dealer had made a mistake when doing the original installation thus, he had to leave the job partially undone to source the correct parts. He returned a couple of hours later to finish the job. I appreciate his honesty and dedication to make it right for me. He did not want to leave me without a vehicle and was concerned about the upcoming rain which is a testament to his character: he is a good person. Moran is reliable, knowledgeable (has been in this business for decades), and his work is a great value. Highly recommend his services! read more

My daughter lives in Monterey Bay and on the way to visit her aunt Her windshield cracked. I called a few auto glass replacements in Livermore and Moran's Auto Glass came in with the best price and how quickly Ishmael said he would meet the next morning Great job on my daughters car read more

Thank you, Moran's Auto Glass, for coming to the rescue! My car was broken into at 24 Fitness in Livermore (along with three other patrons' car). I initially contacted them on Tuesday and received a quote right away. Sadly, I had booked a mobile appointment with another provider. The other auto glass person canceled on me at the last minute on a Saturday at 12pm. So I called Moran's Auto Glass and asked if they can come out. It was a stormy day with lots of rain and wind gusting about. My first contact was at 12:10 pm and the window was replaced by 1:05 pm. Raul, the glass technician did his magic and now my car is good to go! Moran's Auto Glass with Raul were my heroes for the day! I give them five stars. read more

I found Moran's Auto Glass via Yelp and yet again, the Yelp algorithm guided me to a truly 5-star business. Thanks Yelpers. Don't tell my insurance company with the reptile as a mascot, but I drive all over the Bay Area. Sometimes I even drive to Tahoe, LA, Vegas, etc. The real problem in the Bay Area, especially where I live in the Tri-Valley where the 580 meets the 680, are the horrible roads. It's ludicrous that despite having some of the highest taxes in the country our roads are shit. On top of that, there are a ton of idiot truck drivers. Not only do they drive way too fast (posted speed limit for trucks is 55 mph), but you will find them in every damn lane. Yes, even the fast lane. What this means is that combined with the disintegrating roads, these fast moving trucks launch projectiles at your windshield. And since these trucker f*ckers are in every lane, it's like navigating the USS Enterprise through an asteroid belt without any deflector shields. If only I had photo torpedos to engage... So... the last time I replaced my windshield was less than two years ago. Since that time, I had at least 7 cracks and chips of all kinds. Sadly, the most recent one spread about 8 inches so I knew it was time to replace it. Ishmael was able to come out and replace the windshield on short notice and at a reasonable price. It's great to support a small business, especially when they do their jobs well and charge less than the franchise companies. If you need your windshield replaced in the East Bay, don't me a moron and give Moran a call. read more

Very competitive pricing and they did a very good job. I am happy with their work and how fast they completed it.

Updated 2/5/24 from 4 to 3 as i figured out ismael had only replaced half of the clips for the windshield moldings, and the replacements were not the right clips! I suspect he left the original clips in there too for support, but half of tabs of my moldings had been broken off anyway - and were still in the clips! The windshield itself is great (hence the 3 still) but very sloppy cover-up work on my car's moldings. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this company. UPDATED 1/24/24 FROM 2 TO 4 AS ISMAEL FINALLY SENT A REFUND TO COVER REPLACEMENT MOLDINGS Ismael is a nice guy, came out to my home same-day, and the windshield install itself was perfect for a good price. However, my car has windshield moldings on each side that must be removed, and when he removed them he broke over half the tabs so they would no longer stay in. I lost one after driving on the freeway, and the other is loose and I keep having to push it back into place. I tried negotiating with Ismael to provide replacement moldings and install them, but for over a month he gave me the run-around. So I had to buy my own moldings and install them, and now I am forced to work with my credit card company to recover the cost from Moran's Auto Glass. I am only asking for the cost of the moldings I purchased, nothing more, but sadly Ismael never delivered after several attempts where I always had to initiate the conversation. The whole incident makes me upset just typing this now, as it has been a lot of effort and hassle. read more

He was fast and did the job well! I appreciated his flexibility. He responded quickly.too Great job!

My car was broken into in San Francisco over the weekend, even though my purse was not visible. Sucks, ugh. Initially communication was a little rough, but he came through! The free mobile service is a huuuuge bonus service, especially when you have a broken window or windshield. It took just a couple of days for him to come out locally, but he had to pick up the window for replacement elsewhere first. Once he got here, the job was done in under 30 minutes! No issues with the window and it looks good as new. Quote was fair and he price-matched a nearby competing quote without any hassle. Very nice guy. Also takes credit card! Thanks so much Moran's Auto Glass! Definitely recommend. read more

Submitted a quote request through Yelp 5-days ago but no reply. Website states today's open hours are from 9am to 3pm. Called business number 4-5 times but message shows "busy". Drive to address posted but it is a gas/convenience store. Update: I am informed by Moran owner that they do not see messages that are sent through Yelp. I do not understand why Yelp asks for quote requests to be sent through their website??? I will work with owner on my quote request. read more

My car window started with a small crack, that eventually worked its way across the driver's side window. I searched Yelp (yay) for auto glass repair shops. I messaged four different shops, who each had varying speeds for replies. Ismael replied quickly. While he wasn't the cheapest option--he was the most responsive, and I value a quick response. He let me know his estimated time of arrival and updated me before he came that he was on his way. He assured me that it would only be about 35-40 minutes, and he was true to his word. He completed the job to replace the window and was on his way. I highly recommend his service to anyone. read more

I was looking for someone to come to my job to replace my windshield, I received a few quotes and this was the best one, and he could come the same day! He was friendly and fast and did a great job. Responded pretty fast and the price was excellent. Ismael was able to do the work at 9 the next morning and despite my fairly complicated windshield replacement (mirror and GPS stuck to the inside of the windshield, antenna wire), he took care of all the details. The new glass even had the same tinting and dot pattern as the factory original. Didn't take him long to finish and the job was perfect. He even came to my house. Asked him for a receipt, and after reminding him four times over the last four weeks, still no receipt. He does great work, but if you need a receipt, go elsewhere. read more

He is a great person, he meticulous about his work and he makes sure everything you needed fixed is done and you're happy with the results before he leaves. His pricing is also competitive.
