Took my Shelby to Tri-Valley and spoke with Tony who was very knowledgeable about the entire process dealing with insurance claims. He was able to get me to come to his shop the next day. Got my car in and out of the shop within 3 hours with a new OEM windshield. Paid my insurance deductible and the claim processed and closed within a few days. They didn't scratch the body of the car when removing the windshield, nor the interior, as if it never happened. I haven't gone through a rain season yet, so fingers crossed nothing will leak. It does come with a lifetime warranty as long as I own the car. The only thing I would have preferred was to be a bit more careful when applying the black glue, as this vehicle is one of those that don't have a rubber strip around the glass, so any misalignment or bulging glue will show. Overall I'm satisfied with the work, so I didn't want to take out a star! read more

Tony is da man! Got a chip with 2" crack on the front windshield of my Tesla. I was about to go to Safelite but saw this place was closer and had great reviews. I did a walk-in (no appointment) and they were able to accommodate me on the spot. Tony did his magic and after 30 min the glass was almost good as new. I have a 1956 Chevy Bel Air. The inside had a lot of aged upholstery either falling apart or ripped because of age. The felt around the windows and the rubber seals had all dried out and the carpet was falling apart. I also wanted the car insulated from road noise. I can not begin to say how happy I am with the quality of work done. The people who work there are true craftsmen in what they do. The seats, door liners. Header, carpet and trim all look amazing. The car is much quieter and you can actually have a conversation without shouting. The job took 2 weeks longer than quoted but I truthfully expected that. When he told me two weeks originally I laughed and said I expected 4. It was 4. I think some of the overage was because of details we ran into after the work started. On the down side. The job was more expensive than originally estimated. To be clear, I was not overcharged nor was the work done not worth what I paid. I was charged a fair price for high quality work. However, when doing this type of work you always run into things you were not expecting or details that were omitted from the original scope of work. Those little things add up. If you are on a tight budget you have to really watch all these little things and make sure you get an estimate for them as they occur. Overall I got show quality work done for a fair price. Tony was easy to communicate with and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend them. read more

The mirror in my car fell off about a year and a half after our windshield was installed. We called and left a message and Tony got right back to us, we headed down and he took a look at the problem. He found that the mounting that came installed on the windshield hade come off. He repaired the mount within a couple of minutes (something that he did not have to do since it was the parts fault not his) and we were on our way. Second week into the new year and some of the heaviest rain storms in years arrive!! Well on one of those stormy days my rear window on my 04 Silverado gets knocked out. Rain is pelting down into my truck. I called these guys they gave me a quote and said to bring it in when I could. Luckily they are right down the street so not much water managed to work its way into my back seat. They said it should be ready the next day. Best part of the whole experience, they called back later that day and said my window was complete and i could pick it up at closing. They had my truck in my driveway that evening! He custom fitted a cut down Toyota Tacoma windshield into my custom '54 Ford that had a '65 Buick Wild cat roof with narrowed Camaro rear window channel. Had the front windows replaced in my 67 Camaro last summer at the Livermore location but I'm still bothered by what happened so here goes. The window work itself was very good and it was completed on time too but when I went to pick up the car, I noticed chip on my paint right near the window on the drivers door. It's about 3/8 inch round and all the way to the gray primer. Bummer cuz it wasnt there when I brought the car in. I pointed it out to Tony? I think -- the guy who did the work. But his reaction was sorta like "oh" or "oh well" with absolutely no offer to repair it or even to say sorry. Since all the work there seems to be on classic cars, I expected a lot more care than what it obviously got. I wont go back. read more

I have a Porsche Carrera 4S with broken windshield, and took it to Tri Valley Auto Glass. Tony was very professional and promised the car would look as new when done. They were not kidding! The windshield came in the next day, and they received me and got to work immediately on the car at my convenience. I watched the entire procedure.
