I feel like credit is due where credit is deserved. I am pretty stumped how to write it so I guess it'll just be a word vomit. You'll see it and skip it but I'll write it anyway. I've been here before to get my two front windows tinted on my old car and I vowed until the day I stop caring, I will always send my cars and my friends cars to Vince. You have to understand Vince is one of the nicest guys in the world, and all the stories he has, I just want to sit there and just listen. It is intriguing, fulfilling, and all around awesome. I mean also add to the fact he is an absolute master and meticulous with his craft. Anyway, I recently purchased a new car, and I hit up Vince prior to the purchase to see if he could get me an appointment for tinting, plus ceramic coat. When I did, he gave me two places that did do tinting since he has started moving away from tinting as much and be more focused on PPF and ceramic coating. At that time he was newly minted with a second born, on paternity leave, and let me know that when I was ready, let him know and he can fit me in with Ian or his other employee, who I must apologize, do not have his name. After what seemed like eternity, I got the car. I gave Vince a holler for ceramic coating and he gave me some dates and fit me in on Monday the 20th, the day I could easily drop off my car without being late for work or leave too early. I pulled up to the shop, parked on the side, packed my bag of crap and waited for Vince to arrive, who arrived promptly at 9. I said hi and gave him the travelers coffee and he was super appreciative. We walked inside and the shop was packed full of amazing looking cars, like omg, shinyness is their specialty and even if some of the cars inside was still being worked on, they all looked exquisite. We had a quick chat and he confirmed which ceramic coat package I got, which was the gold one, and also added the ceramic rain package and gave him my key and we were good to go. He inquired where I was headed and offered to give me a ride to Bart, which I really didn't need since that Uber thingy exist, but accepted it since he insisted. He promised me Saturday, which his schedule says I not opened, but he said since he's been busy and wants to finish cars faster, and he can get away with working just a teeny bit without being murked by his wife, he said Saturday pick up is totally cool. Queue up to Wednesday night when I was about to sleep, and was seriously about to order a Tesla off Turo to hold me over until Saturday, my phone lights up and it's from Vince. He says my car is finished and ready for pick up. I texted back and go ??? How are you a magician? And he responds by saying he's staying late to finish up the cars and I felt so terrible. But he reassured me that it wasn't just my car, which I guess makes it slightly better? I told him I would be picking it up skipping work after lunch and picking up the car. He said he would stay late so I can pick it up after but I. Did. Not. Care. I wanted my car. The next day, after many last minute ordeals are the office, I take a Lyft to the shop. After a long rather scary, slow, and smelly ride to the shop, I arrived and the excitement just kept building. I went to the back, doors was closed, went to the front, and it said go to the back. By the time I went to the back again, Vince popped his head out the door and said I saw you walk by the front and realized you arrived. Welcomed me in and showed me my car and I absolutely melted. There was 2 other cars that was the same exact as mine except a different color and if you ever seen a grown man melt and almost quietly have a panic attack from being excited, that was me. In that moment. Here's the thing, I'm not sure if Vince see this all the time, but I was absolutely in love. He could have in that moment decided to sell me a hot bag of coal for for whatever price he pleases and I would've said ok. The car looked stunning. I went inside and had a quick chat with Vince, paid the due amount, and he explained the warranty to me, that I should reach out within 30 days or so to do the follow up and for now, just drive the car. I mean also some stories where exchanged and what not. He pulled the car out after, closed the door and we snapped pictures. I bid aideu to Vince and was ecstatic for the car, for the sheen, for the not having to go to the gas station, and not having to wash my car (even if I should after ceramic coating). I'm eagerly waiting for the follow up so I can hear more stories. Longest story ever consolidated. Vince and his team is the truth and they're the nicest people ever. If you want the best PPF and ceramic coating shop in the Bay Area, search no further. Vince and Ian are masters in their craft and true professionals. They did a full body matte PPF and ceramic coating on my 2021 Audi RS6 Avant. The best compliment was when I met another owner with the same vehicle, who also did matte PPF at another shop. He told me that after seeing Omega Werks work on my car, he had to go get his touched up because there was no comparison. I don't know that you can get any better than Vincent at Omega Werks when it comes to template or custom wrapping your car in film or clear bra as well as tint. I was recommended to Vince by a number of people and knew him personally from various forum events so when I finally had a chance to repaint the front end of the 5-series I knew he was the only person I trusted to put on clear bra for me. One of the great things about Vincent is that he actually does just as good or perhaps even better job than Premier and it will not cost you and arm and a leg! Vincent did the clear bra on the 5-series as a custom job so all the seams are neatly tucked into the car so much that you can't even tell anything is there. He also did a custom tint on the front reflectors which actually improved the look of the car significantly despite what I thought it would look like. He made absolute sure that I was 100% satisfied with his work and I have to say no complaints. He also promptly followed up with me (as clear bra work requires a follow-up appointment) and scheduled it convenient for me and came to my area since I did not live in Pleasanton. Took my car in to get the entire front end clear bra-ed by Vincent. To be fair, my car's a bit more complicated than normal because the the middle panel on my hood as well as my side mirrors are matte black, while the rest of the front is shiny black. I was very picky when trying to find someone to work on my car because I wanted to preserve this look. The two main reasons I chose Omega Werks were that 1) the owner does the actual work and 2) his Yelp and car forum reviews were excellent. Vincent ended up doing an amazing job. As you can see from a couple of the pictures I posted, he kept the matte black look and you can't even tell that there's a clear bra on the car. The best Tint/ Clear Bra shop in the Bay Area. This is a one man show, so when you go you know you're getting Vincent. The dude knows cars and is a fun guy to talk to, but more importantly he knows tints. I went in to get a tint job, he walked me through the choices, warned me about an extremely anal cop in my area and then got to work. The waiting area is pretty fitting for the shop. You have 2 bucket seats from a Civic del Sol mounted in front of a TV with a huge selection of motoring DVD's. The tint job itself was flawless. He hand cuts everything, so I was a bit nervous at first. I mean, nobody puts a knife near my baby. But it was done well. He also fixed up my clear bra job (done by another shop) for free and installed 2 clear bra patches on the rear bumper for a small fee. The dude is friendly, he knowledgeable but he is busy like nothing else. Be sure to call ahead for an appointment and show up on time. read more

If you're looking for tints, Vince is the only way to go. If you give him a call, you will understand how much he cares about the quality and how much pride he has in his work - it's like an art. He takes his time and it looks great. Don't get stuck with guys that will do it cheaper. I've had 3 cars done around 6 years ago and they look great today. No fading, bubbling, or peeling (Llumar also has a lifetime warranty against that - just in case). The tints go right up to the edge, even over the dot matrix. This is a well overdue yelp review for Omega Werks owner Vincent. Initially got my ceramic pro coating in 2017 when I first got my car. Not only did it make the color more vibrant, it made it easy to clean. I'm glad I got it added to my car. There have been multiple times that my car was targeted by the geese/birds at my work and I didn't notice it until hours later. With the ceramic pro coating, it protected the paint and it didn't ruin it. I simply wiped it off with my waterless car wash spray and it was clean with no spots from where the geese left their mark. Fast forward to Mar 2019 when I got into an accident. I stopped by the shop to let Vincent know that I'll probably be seeing him after my car was done getting repaired. My car didn't get finished until the ending of May. The paint had to cure for 3 months before they started on the ceramic pro coating. Between deployment and getting back to a busy schedule, I contact Vincent to see what his schedule is like to have my car evaluated to determine the cost for the repaired parts. He quickly got my car in cleaned up and said he would contact B&S Hacienda in Pleasanton to show them the damage(buffed out paint splatter) they caused when repairing my car. The employee named Ron would not give Vincent the time of day to go over these errors. Vincent wanted to get my car completed but also wanted to ensure the repairs were covered by the insurance in a timely manner. He finally received some assistance from Sean whom was very helpful. It also took a yelp review for the owner to respond. Vincent went above and beyond to help me out and get the insurance payment situated with Tony owner of B&S Hacienda. Tony apologized for his employee's actions or lack of customer service. Thanks to Vincent and Ian for getting my car restored back to Black Beauty! I would recommend Vincent and his team any day! I dropped my new vehicle off before I left for a few weeks vacation and kept me updated with pictures while was away. Now, it 2021 and 5 years later. When I first researched tint brands and products, I found a few brands I was interested in: Lumar, 3M and SunTek. I liked SunTek the best as I noticed it's a much clearer film than 3M when you hold the two up next to each other. I read threads from tint installers such as www.tintdude.com and decided that SunTek won. SunTek has two main high-end products: HP (High Performance) and Carbon. I decided I wanted Carbon because its lifetime guarantee includes fading (unlike HP) and it's nonmetallic, so it won't mess with my navigation, cell phones and FM and AM radio (supposedly AM radio signals are screwed up the most with metallic tint). I looked around and found all the places in the Bay Area that offer SunTek products. I then looked through Lexus and car forums/threads, and rating sites like Yelp, Yahoo!, and even local review sites and found Auto Mall Tint Factory and Omega Tintwerks. I was happy with Auto Mall Tint Factory, I liked the owner and the shop (plus it's extremely close to my house) but they only offer Suntek's HP line (they had an issue with Carbon when it first came out, so decided not to use it anymore). I wanted to talk them back into Carbon since it has so many good ratings but it stretches a little different for the install and I didn't want my car to be the first install of the product for them in such a long time. So I called up Vincent from Omega Tintwerks, talked to him, asked him a few ?s and then went down to his shop to check things out. I really liked Vincent's work; he was honest, very talkative, and just a chill guy. He really wants to do a quality job and he takes his time. He is very knowledgeable and informed me a ton, which was great. I don't like it when I know more than the so-called specialist (ex: when you go into Home Depot, Circuit City or Jiffy Lube), which obviously wasn't the case here, so I felt very comfortable with him working on my car. I dropped off my car (an '06 Lexus IS250). It took him a bit longer than expected but I called and told him that time wasn't a huge issue; I'd rather have an excellent job than a speedy one. Well my tint came out great, I'm pleased with how the process went and would recommend Omega Tintwerks to anyone. Vincent even pointed out a tiny imperfection in the tint itself (not as a result of the craftsmanship). Though I probably would never have noticed it, Vincent asked me if I would prefer he redo the window. I told him it was fine and Vincent's response was that the imperfection most likely wouldn't cause any problems but I could bring my car back anytime if I didn't like it or if somehow a problem came up. Anyhow, I drove home and left my windows up for five days to let the tint cure, and now I absolutely love it. I got 35% up front and 18% in the back and on the rear. SunTek offers 70, 50, 35, 20 and 5, which I believe is actually something like 70%, 48%, 35%, 18% and 5% respectively. However, Vincent doesn't carry 5% and I don't think he has 70% either. I debated for awhile as to how dark I should go, but in the end I'm glad I didn't go too dark; I like a classy ride. Basically, I won a free Tint Job from Vincent at a raffle for my S2000. I made an appointment with him, he asked me which shade/tint I wanted, took the keys and the rest was smooth sailing. He's got a rather interesting waiting room; 2 car bucket seats in front of a TV, with a bunch of Jspec DVD's of varies kinds, and magazines which you can look through while you are waiting. I'm surprised there wasn't any porn. =( jk =P The result of my tint was excellent! I've had the same tint for well over 3 years and there is no bubbling or discoloring on the tint whatsoever! He does some amazing work on clear bras as well. I've seen his work on custom after market bumpers and it's fantastic! I'd recommend you make an appointment with Vincent ahead of time unless you are dropping in to get a quote, but why shop around when you can get your tint or a clear bra for your car done right the first time? read more

Vincent does a detailed and thorough job and he goes the extra mile to get things done right. I've had 2 cars tinted by him. The first was in 2007 and the tint still looks brand new now. In the past month, I took my Tesla Model S for him to tint. I showed up on a Friday morning and he was not yet done with the vehicle from the previous day, so that delayed the work on my car. I would want him to take the appropriate time to do a great job on my car, so I didn't fault him for running over with the previous car. He drove me to Enterprise (but they were all booked), so he drove me to BART. He spent a Saturday, which is usually not open, to finish up my car and it was a great job (no problems in the 4-5 weeks since install). When I went to pay with my credit card, he said he did NOT take those anymore. He just let me drive off with a promise to send a check, which I did the next day. So everything was great except the NO credit cards issue. He should make that a little bit more explicit when he books the appointments. read more

Vincent is the man when it comes to window tint! As long as you're not value shopping, there's no need to look anywhere else. Not that his prices are bad, but I'm sure there's cheaper alternatives out there. He's also not the fastest around but he takes his time and gets it right the first time. All the guys on the import forums recommended him for a reason. I drove all the way from SF to Livermore to have my first car tinted (35% front 35% rear) years ago based on recommendations from i-club www.i-club.com/forums Yes, he used to be in Livermore way back when in the pre-Yelp days! He tinted my lady's Nissan 35/20 a few years later and did another awesome job. He even pointed out a tiny fleck of fiber from her fuzzy sweater that got stuck in the lower part of the rear window and offered to redo it. I could barely even see it & wouldn't have noticed it if he hadn't pointed it out. You won't find that at many other shops. When her front window was later smashed by some loser in Stockton, he redid the tint at a fair price. Vincent will be tinting my next Subaru when I need it done. Had another truck done by him, windows turned out good as usual but poor time management turned me off a little this time. started on my truck hours after my set appointment but never told me it was going to be any longer til i came back hours later and it still wasn't started..i was going to wait around in town for it as i live about 45 mins away and after waiting and waiting ended up just leaving it overnight and having to come back and get it the next day. he made it right with a discount for the wait but my time+gas is worth more than that. Other than this past time never had an issue... my suggestion would be to leave it and don't plan on picking it up til the end of the day atleast. read more

Vincent does great work. I tinted the back 3 windows of my car. The workmanship was great. No funny spots or scratches. Vincent is a great guy when it comes to talking about his line of work. he can tell you about the different attributes of tint till the cows come home. The one down side is that Vincent is very busy. I booked my appointment one and a half months in advance. When I got there he had another car that he needed to complete. I just wanted to confirm all the positive things people have already said about Vincent. He did a clear bra installation on my full hood, bumper, fog lights, and side mirrors, plus 30% ceramic tint all the way around on my 2010 MINI Cooper S. He is a master at what he does, there's no other way to describe it. I've read a few posts from disappointed customers regarding his use of time. I didn't have any such experience. I dropped my car off in the morning, he offered me a ride to the BART station and then my car was ready by the end of the day. He even called me a couple hours before he thought he was going to finish the tinting to give me an ETA. I had an absolutely smooth experience. The way I see it is this: if you're hungry you can go out to a fast food joint and get yourself a burger and fries and you'll take care of that hunger. Or, you can go out to a fine dining restaurant and order the chef's tasting menu and just sit back and enjoy his craftsmanship. In the end you would have accomplished the same goal of eating, but by paying a bit more and letting the chef do what he does best, you'll come out feeling MUCH more satisfied and the quality will be orders of magnitude better. Vincent takes pride in his work and if that means that he doesn't like the outcome the first time around, let him take the time to perfect it for godsake. If you just want a burger then that's fine, but don't waste his or your time if you're not willing to let him take his own time and do it right. Vincent is the most meticulous guy ever and really great work. He fit me in to redo the sloppy work from a top body shop. We have had tinting and clear bra from him with a few cars. You have to look closely to see that there is any film there at all and there are only a couple of places that seams are visible at all (due to some design details on the bumper). In the automotive world, it is really easy to cut corners... or leave razor cuts in your car from a crap clearbra install. Pro-Finish left some major razor marks all over my bumper and I was amused that Vince remembered from me from the G35driver forum where I blasted pro-finish up and down in 2006. Back on point. I purchased my car on 7/6/2009, a brand new G37. Since my last ordeal with my G35 I was very careful about who I let touch it. Vince was a no brainer from all of my research. Seriously. I felt so strongly about his skill, I ignored "discount pricing" from other people and went to Vince - booking two appointments. One for my G37 and one for my close friend's G35, a third one on the way for my co-worker's BWM 330 (I hope). On my friend's G35, he was so unhappy with the way the two front windows came out the first time... he ripped it out and redid it, taking additional time. That's quality. When I had my first G35 tinted with ceramic, the shop popped off my door panel which left a rattling noise. Drove me insane until I fixed it. Vince didn't take off my panels, or on my friend's G35. That's skill. I am going to make it a point to keep Vince's contact details. If it sounds like I am fluffing Vince up, I am not - I am telling it like it is. Took my E90 here to get the 15% ceramic tint done on all 3 rear windows. I chose ceramic tint, since this type of tint will not interfere with the keyless entry system. I was recommended to this shop through various BMW forums. Also, for all you BMW owners out there, Vincent does a great job of applying the film over the "dot matrix" area! There is absolutely no bubbling whatsoever is this area of my rear windshield. Vincent has got the technique down! Vincent is the only person working here, so you really need to be patient!!! This guy takes his time with the work he does and makes sure the job is done right! He's definitely a car dude, so if you decide to wait for your car at the shop, you can always have a conversation! Let me add to the 5 star reviews. Vince and Ian have applied Ceramic Pro to both our cars and now there's no danger of me ruining the paint when washing the cars. Ceramic Pro allows me to have two clean cars without the hours I used to spend trying to maintain them. Yes, a leaf blower is all you need! I also had Vince tint my car and of course the result was perfection. Vince and Ian treat and respect your car like it's their own - yes, you may have to wait for an appointment.
