I requested an estimate around 6 PM and did not expect a response until the next day, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text within five minutes of submitting the form. Colby clearly explained the services and pricing, and I really appreciated his prompt communication. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for full car window tinting, and the results turned out amazing--the car looks fantastic. He also followed up afterward to ensure everything looked good and invited me to reach out with any questions or concerns, which reflects outstanding customer service. I really wanted to like this place. The owner and workers are great, the communication is great, but the work (specifically tint work) leaves a lot to be desired. They left the interior a mess, with what ever solution they use to apply tint; a couple windows needed to be brought back for hair and dust bubbles; and their cuts are not micro cuts as described on their website.

Brought my car in for a full car + windshield tint. The car looks amazing and is so much cooler! The quality is impeccable and I'm super happy with the service. This review is way overdue. I, along with everyone else here in the Bay Area, drive a white Tesla. I was getting so tired of having the same color as everybody else, sometimes I can't even find my own car in a big parking lot. I decided that I was going to wrap my car in a different color. I reached out to many different companies in the Bay Area. Colby was extremely responsive, taking the time discuss the whole process. He was also very upfront in his pricing and how long it would take for him to wrap my car. The wrap color that I wanted was not a brand that he was very familiar with, but he took the time to call them and get to know their product better. Overall, I am extremely happy with how my car looks. Colby and his team are all about attention to detail and I was able to bring the car back a month later for him to see how the wrap was settling. I love driving it now and I get compliments all the time.

You can't buy 5 star adds to wash out the real reviews. Unprofessional texting says it all. Rather trust my car modifications with a PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. Not sales rep getting frustrated he didn't get my business. To the owners get mature sales reps. If you're the owner, Grow up. I have 3 windows with 3Ms highest film and simply wanted to have 1 window done due to shattered window being replaced. Guy wasn't wise enough to simply ask why I wanted 3M instead tried to bash 3M then send me crying emoji for no reason whatsoever. I had called on the phone and was greeted by a very well spoken and polite gentleman who helped me schedule a time to come in and get ceramic tint around my tesla. I was able to get an appointment the same evening, and was amazed by the fact that this shops quote was beating 90% of other shops. Upon arriving, I was met with some of the most incredible hospitality from Colby. He helped me choose the percentage all around my vehicle, and took time with me to help me really lock my decision in. You can go ahead and stop looking up local tint companies because Dublin Tint & PPF is hands down the best in town. Colby and his team take their job very seriously. They only use the highest quality ceramic tint so there is no bubbling and it won't turn into that ugly purple color. They use the best materials, they've mastered their craft, yet somehow their prices are still very reasonable. I had them tint every window, the moon roof, and front windshield on my brand new 2025 Subaru Forester. Everything came out great and it's all cut with the cleanest lines. The clear ceramic tint on the front windshield keeps so much of the heat off of me even when the sun is beating directly on me. Thanks Colby! I'll definitely be sending anyone I know who needs tint to you. read more

I took my Mercedes to get the two front windows tinted after showing me all the different shades of tint I went with the 50% for a light smoky look, I wanted single ceramic but they were all out so they upgraded me to dual ceramic free of charge! Everyone was so nice and they did an amazing job in an hour! I definitely recommend this place! read more

Colby, the owner, is an astounding guy and doesn't cut any corners. He is straight forward about what materials he uses and what each price point gets you. Honest review here I have never in my life experienced this kind of service. From the time I called they were nothing but friendly and helpful. I had my 2020 Lexus GS broken into so I had to get a window replaced and I contacted Dublin window tint since they had a pretty high rating on yelp and I can see why but anyway they were so helpful and generous. They literally got me right in and had my window re tinted within 30 mins. They were so kind and generous they didn't even charge me. Maybe he felt bad about my car getting broken into. Either way these guys are truly amazing. I can't thank or praise them enough. I will definitely go through them for all my tint needs. read more

I love this Place , the owner Colby is a young great , respectful business owner that has a bright future. He truly loves cars and has the passion of taking care of others car as if it's his own. I have now brought 3 cars to Colby for tinting. Yes he's that good and his prices are awesome. He just did my Silverado with 50% windshield, 15% front sides, and went over the rear with 70% to match the 15 fronts. The Corvette Z06 was done with 35% windshield and 15% sides with a 50% rear back. I love it. Thank you! Anyone looking for a tint place needs to go see Colby. read more

Colby detailed my 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE just prior to turning in the vehicle at the end of my 3 year lease. He was very responsive and flexible in scheduling. He was able to turn around a quote (same day) and schedule my detailing within 2 days of my initial request. I received no additional excessive usage charges from the leasing company, which I was sure was going to happen. I'm confident it's due to Colby and team's thorough interior and exterior detailing. Automotive enthusiast and detailer. Started out a few years ago knowing little more than what an oil change was before I discovered my first high school auto class. My interest in learning the field took off from there and since then have been practicing as an automotive detailer and tinter. These days my team and I are extremely proud of every vehicle that leaves our doors and are proud to be serving the bay area and its east bay communities!

Horrible experience with Dublin Window Tint. We brought our Tesla Model Y in for a wrap, and the quality of the job was absolutely unacceptable--bubbling, poor cuts, and sloppy edges. When we brought it to Colby's attention, instead of taking accountability, he tried to deny that his shop even did the work. Luckily, we have clear text messages and time-stamped photos of our car in his shop. To make matters worse, he somehow managed to get my husband's honest Yelp review removed instead of addressing the issue. This is not how a reputable business should operate. Own up to your mistakes and make it right. Extremely disappointed with the service and the dishonesty. read more

My husband was quoted $399 through text for the windows, but the windshield price was never discussed. We accept responsibility for not confirming that beforehand. However, when I arrived, the total was suddenly $600. Had we known the full price, we likely would have chosen one of the other shops that quoted us less. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. We were originally told the job would take a couple of hours and later told it would be completed before the shop closed at 7:00 p.m. By 6:30 p.m., we still had not received an update, so we drove there and learned he was waiting for a package. He never clearly explained that he did not have the 70% film needed for the windshield and front windows. Had we known, we would have picked up the vehicle and returned another day. We went back around 8:30 p.m. because we needed to put our young daughter to bed and were not comfortable leaving our car overnight. The shop lights were off, and no one was there. After my husband called, the owner came out of his house, turned the lights back on, and resumed working. Our vehicle was finally completed around 9:30 p.m.--11 hours after we dropped it off. We received no discount and were then informed that there was no warranty on the tint. My husband was told the bubbles would disappear, but the following day, we noticed even more bubbles on several windows. We understand tint needs time to cure, but we are very disappointed with the quality and now have to take our brand-new vehicle to another shop to have the tint inspected and corrected. Considering the poor workmanship, 11-hour delay, lack of communication, no warranty, and the additional expense of having another shop fix the tint, we believe some type of refund is more than reasonable.
