Although the buffet was disappointing, the food ordered from the menu is good. Monday nights are 'wing night' and they are very good.

If you follow my reviews, you know I'm a fan of old-school diners, the classics, and honest home-cooked food. Summit hits all three marks, serving straightforward and delicious American standards since the 1960s. The three-egg omelet loaded with veggies and sausage was exactly the pre-ski power-up I needed. My son stuck with his go-to breakfast burrito, and my daughter went with the classic two eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Everything was spot on. The staff has just the right level of "WWA"--Waitresses With Attitude. They are perfectly polite, but they hold the line on proper behavior and will quickly put anyone in their place if they step out of line. It keeps the environment grounded and authentic. A few tips for your visit: * Seating: Expect to wait for a table in the lobby or outside during peak hours. * Payment: Bring your wallet--this is a cash-only establishment.

They staff is fast and friendly and the food doesn't disappoint. It's such a rare thing in this day and age to see an old diner so we love to go when we are visiting Somerset. We typically go for breakfast. The next time you're in the area it's definitely a must stop place to go. Give them a try and you may have to wait to be seated they also only accept cash as their only form of payment so come prepared, they do have a ATM in the waiting area.

I came through the drive-thru, and I was only waiting for about 30 seconds. I can tell the drinks are fresh, since nothing in the drink I got was melted, or disformed, or nothing was wrong with it at all! I came here before, in the main lobby, and there were dead flies. I ordered donuts last time, and they put sprinkles on the wrong donuts, but it was okay, they have a lot of people coming in. The workers were so nice, and it's good to know that there are good people in this world! Would come again!

I even heard a rumor the owners threatened to fire everyone so they could hire new staff for even less money an hour. I guess this is what happens when you let cheap losers franchise a store. Place is dirty and falling apart, I've never met a person who works there that doesn't want to commit suicide. Go to get my coffee and they tell me half the machines are broken down cuz the owner is too cheap to replace stuff, food is always stale tasting especially the donuts, and they barley have any filling or it's leaking out of the donuts everywhere I would rather starve then ever spend a dime here again. Hopefully all the staff can find jobs that treat them better

This review is about the "sibling" Dunkin Donuts location at the SOUTHERN Somerset plaza -- across…read morethe highway from this one. It does not have its own Yelp-listing, but, apparently, suffers from the same attitude problems. When we arrived last night, the lights were on, but the counter was unattended. After waiting a few minutes, we discussed with another customer, whether the place is even open -- and concluded, that it must be... The gentleman then tried to rouse somebody up, and succeeded. The worker (anything BUT neat in appearance) finally showed up, but -- instead of apologizing -- accosted him for trying to "get behind the counter". When he pointed out, that, if sanctity of the counter is a real concern, they shouldn't leave it unattended, she claimed, we all "should be grateful, they are open!" (that's a direct quote). That's an attitude I last experienced in the USSR! When I said, I lost my appetite -- and proceeded to walk away -- the other worker (yes, there were two!) got triggered into shouting obscenities... That it was "*ing petty" of me to be mean to the "two teenage girls" -- and that she feels sorry for my children and all that... As I started recording the hysterics with my phone, the worker (who later identified herself as "Sharon") grabbed the device from my hand and threw it on the floor -- while continuing with the foul language... As I picked it up, she kept trying to repeat the action, until I warned her, that I'll defend myself, if she lays a hand on me again... I don't want to continue the detailed description, but she did claim, that "the manager will review the recordings from the cameras and will not give an obscenity". I'm afraid, she is right -- the earlier complaint by April L. definitely shows a management failure. No worker, who thinks, her showing up to work is a "favor" to the customers, should have a job. Likewise, no one capable of cursing a customer should have a job -- certainly not a customer-facing one. The manager should be let go for not seeing this -- as well as for contributing to the obesity of a minor, because both "teenage girls", despite the tender age, already look like they are paid in donuts...
