Kind of a combination of a scotch egg (without the sausage) and a traditional deviled egg. I'm usually not a fan of curry, but they used it sparingly to create a nice flavor. We then shared the pierogies. Not sure if they were homemade or not, but they were definitely not the standard Mrs. T's. I loved how they put the potato pierogies on a bed of sauerkraut. It was the best of both worlds. If I had one complaint, I'd say the sauerkraut was a bit too sweet for my liking. But it was still good. For the main course, we shared a fish sandwich. No complaints here. A nice piece of fish served on a fresh bun with good fries.

Speaking of wings, my one son and husband split an order with garbage sauce and loved them. My other son had some chicken sandwich that was drenched in the same garbage sauce. It was messy and delicious according to him. Both my husband and other son had a burger and said it was even better the second trip. I ordered a salad with shrimp and it was fresh and delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, although I do wish it had more shrimp - only had 4. The blue cheese dressing is definitely homemade. I'm sure we will return to try some other menu items. Wednesday night is wing night! Plan accordingly.

Asked if I could get ranch and ketchup, server walks back and brings out ketchup. I asked again for ranch (3rd time) and she seemed very irritated. Said thank you and she kept walking. Despite the large crowd on hand, we were sat immediately and our food was out within 10-15 mins. Everything was hot and fresh. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with a side of hashbrowns and toast. The gravy on the chicken fried steak didn't have too much flavor, but everything that was supposed to be hot and crispy was. I thought the prices were typical. The decor features a lot of local sports and the seating was spaced appropriately, but also to maximize the amount of people they can accommodate. They have plenty of parking out front and we had no issues getting in and out.

The restaurant wasn't busy, I went to the counter and was told they didn't have sherbet. This surprised and disappointed me, I didn't actually want ice cream but ordered a mint chocolate chip cone, my favorite. For the price of what I was given, somebody needs to be arrested for highway robbery. $3.17 for this pathetic little single scoop cone, and compared to the ice cream I've scooped over the years this was NOT a full scoop. But this is what they laughingly sell for $3.17. Had I known I could have gone next door to Dollar General, paid a little more and bought a full carton. Their freezer temperature was obviously too low, this ice cream (what there was of it) was so soft I had to eat it faster than normal, wasted my money and did not enjoy it at all. I won't be coming back, ever. Friendly servers though.
