Red lobster went down the rabbit hole for the price of food. The mail you get is crappy.

Customer Service is a lost art, but I must say it is not dead. I ordered the Admirals Feast, but when it arrived all my items were fried. Not good for the OG. My server Hannah substituted my order for broiled fish and scallops vs fried. Quick recovery time on the order. Good job guys read more

We ordered two ultimate feasts. Highly disappointed in the whole meal. The steak was order med rate and it was definitely rare. The coconut shrimp was overcooked as well as the lobster tail. The he asparagus was rubbery. The biscuits were good. read more

Every time we travel to Johnstown to visit my father, we always go here for at least one dinner. My go to is usually the snow crab legs which are always good. The ultimate feast is very good too. Reasonably priced good food. The service is always good too. You can't go wrong dining here. read more

Gosh I wish I lived on the East coast, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting this review but sometimes its all a crustacean loving land lubber like me got so here it goes...... What gains one star alone are the cheddar bay biscuits. Buttery herb braised golden tops with fluffy cheddary middle texture. Always on point and i often eat so many of these i cant belly my meal but its worth it. Adore these!!! The seafood is ok. Just average enough to keep me coming back but never a complete disappointment. This particular day was lobster fest which offered Bay harbor lobster bake. Was surprisingly good. Mussels scallops, shrimp, and lobster all baked in a wine garlic reduction that was pleasing to the palate. Served on a be a bed of linguine. Light enough to eat it it all. Seafood is always far from fresh and many times overcooked. The restaurant is clean with plenty of parking and service is always great. So dining experience usually pleasant Hold your snickering "Coast dwellers" !!! I will be back on occasion!!! Lol read more

I could get better seafood eating it out of the trash behind Giant Eagle. The staff is incompetent and act as though they cannot be bothered to do their job. When the hostess walked us back to our table she looked like she hadn't slept in days and smelled like cigarettes. Our server was as absent as the seasoning on the "shrimp." We came for endless shrimp and got endless disappointment. I didn't expect high quality I just expected quality. The food no longer matches the price point. I'd have rather spent $50 to have someone drag my bare ass through glass. read more

Stopped at the Red Lobster on our way back to Ebensburg from Johnstown to grab some dinner. We would've been better off skipping it and just cooking for ourselves. The lobster nacho appetizer looked interesting so we gave that a shot. Unfortunately it was basically just a crappy order of nachos with 2 or 3 little leftover chunks of lobster thrown in. For dinner I went with the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. The sauce was seperated on my pasta when it arrived so I had to deal with oil at the bottom and white goup on the top. Red Lobster you have 3 pasta dishes, all basically Alfredo on top of Linguini with different meat mixed in, I know you've just got a kettle of Alfredo going in the kitchen, give it a quick stir before you put it on the plate next time. My QC Manager/dining companion said his Salmon and Battered Shrimp were OK. So I'll combine that with our waiter who was very friendly and the Cheddar Biscuits (easily the best part of my meal) and throw Red Lobster in Johnstown an extra star. read more

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing and delicious. The service is normally very fast and the waiter and waitresses know what they are talking about. I am lactose intolerant and can't have cheese, but Those cheddar bay biscuits are to die for. All I did was request biscuits without cheese and they brought them out to me. They are delicious. The prices are a bit expensive, but that's only because it is a sea food place. The food is always good and has never once let me down. I have lovedddd everything I have ever eaten there. This is my favorite restaurant and I would recommend it to anybody. read more

We were in town for my Mother-in-Laws 80th Surprise Party. We were looking for a place to go and we settled on Red Lobster. What a great choice. Our server, Alexis, was FABULOUS. My mom got the anchor bar bake - and they put a bad (unopened) mussel in the bake. They never brought a spoon over for her (linguini) I had a drink that I barely drank and they never asked me why (it was not how I wanted it made) My admirals combo (fried seafood platter) was not good. The food is always so delish! The staff is very friendly, we never gave to look for someone to get a refill. This past time we went because we had a gift card, the place is clean, we got so much food for the price we paid for it. The lighting is always set for dim, it has that cozy feel when you walk in. Took the wife here for dinner cause I wanted to try the endless shrimp deal they had going on thinking all the different ways they do shrimp this might be good, boy was I wrong. The different flavors of shrimp they brought to me where disgusting I thought. They had like 4 or 5 flavors and all of them where gross except for the coconut flavored popcorn shrimp. The wife ordered a regular dinner plate of jumbo coconut shrimp and crab legs. The giant shrimp where really good, but crab legs where cold (are they supposed to be cold?) I told her to send them back to have them warmed up, but she didn't and just took them home and warmed them in the microwave. First time we went to red lobster and might be the last, for an expensive meal we thought it would be better. read more

I love seafood in general and I am a fan of Red Lobster since it is slim pickings here in Johnstown for seafood restaurant. Others in the group are not seafood lovers and Red Lobsters has a variety of pasta, chicken or steak choices for their preferences. The wait service is decent and the place can get packed around meal times so expect to wait especially on the weekends. read more

Omgah, these cheddar bay biscuits, omgah. You can actually order these solo and take them out. It's brilliant. I don't eat seafood but they make a damn good steak and they cook it perfectly. The killing lobster thing makes me feel sad so I dislike the lobsters up front waiting to be boiled alive, but good steak. Nice fruity liquor drinks as well. read more

I arrived at Red Lobster really excited to eat some fresh lobster and the first thing I noticed was the dining room needed vacuumed and a staff moving slowly. Other than the somber staff when we were seated our order was taken quickly. The menu is expensive so I don't eat like this everyday, but I'm happy I did this time. I ordered the shrimp scampi dish and it was good. Sometimes the shrimp can taste overcooked. Everyone loves the biscuits and I left full and happy. read more

My husband and I visited the Red Lobster on Galleria Drive for our Saturday Night date night this past week. We arrived around 7pm and waited about 30 minutes (typical for a Saturday evening). The wait staff was pleasant and our food came quickly, despite how busy the restaurant was at that hour. Our salads, drinks and biscuits were delivered just after we ordered. It was a great start to an enjoyable meal. We each ordered the current shrimp special. I ordered my favorites - hand breaded shrimp, shrimp scampi and shrimp linguini alfredo pasta. My husband ordered the scampi, alfredo pasta and the crunchy parmesan ranch shrimp. Our selections were delicious - hot on arrival, prepared properly and nicely presented. Not too many "nice restaurants" in Johnstown. My mother-in-law loves coming here for their coconut shrimp, which is pretty good! Of course, love the biscuits! Great service. Great food. Closer to 2.5 stars. Cheddar biscuits are great, everything else is inconsistent. Sometimes you get a meal that's been destroyed by the salt & butter monster, other times the seafood isn't bad. Service is also hit or miss here. Walt's fried shrimp is consistently good, I'll give them that. read more
