Pizza is really good with the crust being dressed with a garlic sauce...I usually don't eat crust but here I do!

Shared the crab cake and red wine mussels. Both are excellent. I went for a seasonal sea bass which was grilled to golden brown, seasoned perfectly. Stuffed shrimps got a very nice comments. Strawberry salmon looked very interesting. Our waitress was really attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. Off the hook is on my list for the next visit

The elegant atmosphere, complete with white tablecloths and candlelit tables, makes for a memorable dining experience. The service was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Our appetizer was phenomenal, especially the crab cake--it was one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the crab mac & cheese, which was rich, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. The portions are on the smaller side, but by the end of the meal we were completely satisfied. Our only disappointment was the fish entrées, as both were a bit overcooked. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, it's a gorgeous restaurant with outstanding service, delicious appetizers, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'd gladly return and would recommend it for anyone looking for a special night out.

Their lent menu is a little more trimmed down than their regular food truck menu I have seen before. I got the fish sandwich, hush puppies, and a large side of lobster mac and cheese. It was a little pricey, $31. The lobster mac and cheese was as much as the sandwich for a container the size of a to-go soup bowl which seemed like a little much. There weren't that many lobster pieces for the price, like 3 or 4 decent-sized chunks, and the mac and cheese itself was pretty bland. The fish sandwich was the best part but I still wasn't wow-ed; I was also charged $1 for one slice of american cheese. I'm fine with paying extra for things, that just seemed excessive. The hush puppies and fries were clearly just frozen, and the fries were cold. For the price, I wouldn't come back here during lent but may visit the food truck at a different time to see the bigger menu.

The slaw was good too, but overall I'm just not that big of a fan of slaw. The fish and chips came with 4 decently sized pieces of haddock and a bunch of fries. Honestly, this could be a meal for 2 people if you're not extremely hungry. It was kind of expensive, but worth it in my opinion due to the quality and the amount of food. I would go again. I'm interested in trying their lobster rolls after lent is over!

We were in the area after visiting Buttermilk Falls and searched for a local place to have lunch…read more We decided on Griffith Tavern, and it turned out to be another great find. One of the things I love about traveling through the countryside is that so many of the restaurants are locally owned family businesses. There isn't a chain restaurant in sight, and each place has its own unique charm. Everyone was so friendly. A gentleman who came in to pick up a takeout order noticed our bikes and asked if we were the ones riding the Ghost Town Trail. We ended up having a wonderful conversation, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was good. It wasn't exceptionally fast, but that's part of the charm of a small-town, family-owned restaurant where everything is made to order. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to where I'm from. The sandwiches don't come with a side, but that was perfectly fine with me since I usually skip the fries anyway and opted for a side salad instead. I ordered the Honey Hot Chicken Wrap and chose the grilled chicken rather than fried. The wrap was enormous--a very generous portion. It was delicious! I was a little concerned that the "hot" might be too spicy, but it had just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. Everyone in our group raved about their meals, and we all left full and happy. If you're exploring the area or riding the Ghost Town Trail, I definitely recommend stopping at Griffith Tavern for a meal.

Delivered back to me with a sharp drop of the plate in front of me, without a word. I'm not claiming bar food should be a 5 star experience but I actually do require meatloaf/mashed-potatoes/gravy to be hot. I don't think that's asking a lot. I could definitely have done without the attitude. I could have excluded the COLD Mac n cheese. I sent 60 percent back with the waitress and I SEVERELY HATE wasting food! This doesn't sit well with me!
