Had a great meal! I have to give a shout out to Sabrina our server! She was so awesome !

Fun menu and great drinks

Service food and atmosphere are all eclectic and very enjoyable. Creative menu with smoke theme throughout. We liked the high top tables near the kitchen.

Monk fish Burnt ends with green apple celery root slaw. It's an app but eats like a meal

Stylish and friendly place with unique interesting dishes. The type of place that you can talk to whom ever happens to be seated next to you. Thoughtful decor without any pretense. The bar tender John is especially attentive knowledgeable about the menu as well as the proverbial knowing a lot of customers names. On top of it all it's downtown Gloucester right on the waterfront.

Gloucester, MA Great place near the water to enjoy some fish n chips, seafood or grab a bite with a larger group.

Just do it!! Food was incredible. Chef(s) know what they are doing. Staff was a 10. Ambiance was a 10. Beautiful location and everything was top notch. Can't recommend enough. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

I love this restaurant so much and I always my friend if we can go here when I visit her in Gloucester. They have so many yummy dishes that it's hard to know where to begin, but the wings, whipped ricotta, mussels and tuna tartare are some of my favorites. The outdoor deck is a great space for summer dining and the staff are super friendly.

Great hummus. Really good, well seasoned, fresh pita, right toppings. The salad was ok... it was a head of romaine lettuce with crumbly bits on top and a slab of chicken on the side... we were wondering why my friend was given a steak knife for a Caesar salad. Nothing else was particularly remarkable. Drinks were good, mixed drinks on the syrupy side. Expensive menu. Service was super slow. We asked a hostess for bread, she said our waitress would be by, 10 minutes later she was only after we asked the hostess again. A different host who sat us stayed and chatted (we were hungry and just wanted to sit) but was in front of one of the chairs so a member of our party was just left standing while she told us about how someone's brother is a "vip"... Not sure if they have takeout but I'd do that instead of dine in.

Get a look at that incredible chowder!

Walked in on a whim after visiting Hammond Castle one weekday evening and were surprised to find a nearly empty restaurant given the ambience was so warm and festive. Nice kids menu and a full menu of comfort foods and delicious beverages for the adults. We opted for a beer and an old fashioned. For apps, we went with the tuna tartar, ricotta, and clam chowder. The chowder was some of the best we've ever had, with chunky pieces of bacon, clams still fresh in the shell, and a buttery broth. Tuna tostada was fresh and the perfect amount of spice. The whipped ricotta was tasty, too. One child got the chicken tenders off the kids' menu, which he loved. The fries were nice and crispy and we all fought over them. My other child opted for the Faroe salmon, which he really enjoyed, particularly the spicy barbeque glaze. He shared a few bites with me but given all the apps, I was stuffed. My spouse had a pasta dish and he said it was great. Would absolutely return again. Was the perfect end to an already memorable evening in Gloucester.

Oak to ember. More like a meal to remember! I had a literal life changing meal at oak to ember. This wasn't on the menu but I asked if they could make this for me and it was the best pasta meal I've ever had. The scallops were so tender and delicate with a rich flavor. The sauce on the pasta kept me coming back for me! Would drive 3 hours for this meal again!

This place was amazing! From the service to the food to the ambiance. Our waitress was fantastic. The food was delicious for the money. We had a few of the drinks and some appetizers and meals. Highly recommend!

Stopped in on a Saturday night, limited menu. Salad was soggy, cocktail sauce had way too much ginger. Inedible. Expected better!

Enjoyed the beautiful day, plenty of outdoor seating and seeing all the young baseball players and their families enjoying a meal! Drinks are inside at the bar, bathrooms could be cleaner haha. The food ran about $80 after lobster roll basket, clam chowder cup and two bottled drinks. Good amount of lobster, and picturesque for the amount on the plate. There was however no seasoning or flavor but some folks probably like the plain lobster itself. There wasn't much hot butter on our order, least none that we could really detect. Cooked well but super bland. The clam chowder was extremely watery and bland. Need like 3 packets of pepper and a packet of salt.. Everything else about the space, the view, the seating was great on a beautiful New England day! Staff taking your order at window was nice, pickup your food via buzzer at the further window!

Also seen on menu: lobster roll for $45. Not even kidding. But, a whole lobster for $25 and 2 for $35! Now that's a good deal. And they were good sized! Now that don't make sense. If I hadn't had pounds of lobster the previous week I'd have gotten that but I didn't have clams yet so that's what I picked. There was a live band blasting but luckily we managed to find a place inside on the veranda so it didn't bother us.

We did not order any special cocktails. They didn't have a huge list to begin with. Only a few beers on draft. The have the 2nd level ropes off ( where the ghost was seen) we saw no one going up there. ( not even staff). We sat at a booth high top style table. It was cool how they had seating at the bar and it's right by the kitchen. Our service was good. Very prompt and polite. Our friends ordered the calamari app and bread. Which the bread does run $4 but so worth it! So fluffy and freshly made. We all ate something seafood related. I definitely thought bigger than my belly. I had the fried fish sandwich with cheddar cheese on brioche bread. Comes with 2 sides: picked the garlic & buttered spinach and a baked potato. The sandwich did have a side of what tasted like their own house made tartar sauce. One of our guests split a cobb salad and another one ordered fish n chips that they all enjoyed.

One of the best lobster spots in Massachusetts. Super fresh and very affordable!…read more Ambiance: Outdoor seating with seven picnic-style tables and a small standing area. I even saw someone unloading crates of fresh lobsters, which was fun to watch. The only downside is the walkway to the seating is VERY narrow. Service was quick and efficient. Clam Chowder: Thick, creamy base with lots of flavor. There were plenty of potatoes but not a ton of clams. Still, the creaminess paired really well with the lobster. Lobster: Exceptionally fresh with a slight natural sweetness. Dipping it in melted butter made it even better. I also appreciated that they pre-cracked it, which made it so much easier to eat. Lobster Roll: Loved the buttery bread it was served on. The mayo was light but flavorful, and the sides included coleslaw and potato chips.

Roy Moore Lobster is a very popular seafood spot in Bearskin Neck, Rockport!…read more It's finally lobsta season & I'm glad we got to stop by. The line is a little long but does move quick. They have tables in the back & to get there, you have to walk through this tiny alley way. Note: not many tables available. Be prepared to possibly share a table with others! Here's what we ordered from our visit: - boiled lobsters 1 1/4 lb (2)-- $18/ea - clam chowder (4)-- $7/ea - smoked salmon --$8 - hot lobster roll-- $32 - stuffed clam (2)--$3/ea - Coca Cola We decided to get the 1lb1/4 boiled lobsters. It was $18/each and we got two of them. Looking back, we probably should've just gotten the 3/$50 deal but it's okay. This comes with melted butter on the side. Lobsters were fresh & easy to eat. No complaints here. My favorite was the clam chowder! It had the perfect consistency, not runny & not too thick. It was also pretty flavorful! The only thing I would've liked to add is a little salt but other than that, very good. I'm a lover of New England Clam Chowder & this was exactly what I was looking for! Now, as for the smoked salmon, I would not order this again. I don't really know how to feel about this to be honest but it just was not my cup of tea. I like baked salmon, broiled salmon, and fried salmon, but I did not like this. Very dry & bland. I personally had the hot lobster roll, which was sautéed in butter. Not bad overall. It was not the best hot lobster roll I've had but it was serviceable. I didn't expect it to be so tiny haha. Seems like lobster rolls in general have shrunk. For the price & the size, it's not bad. I've had $50 lobster rolls that were the same size and less enjoyable, so I guess I can consider this one a win! I think next time, I will opt for a boiled lobster instead. Lastly, the stuffed clams were all right. They were okay; more stuffing than clams. The food also wasn't very hot, just warm cold. Overall, not a bad spot to hit up for some fresh seafood. Prices aren't too bad & the food is definitely fresh!
