I took a day trip with my family to Rockport. We had a beach day in front of Front Beach and noticed Fresco's Seaside. The place was so cute and clean, the food was amazing, and best of all, they had an amazing view and I was able to hang out with my dog while enjoying my food due to their outside patio. I had the Louisiana style clams, the were to die for. The clam bellies were fresh and crispy. We tried both the hot and cold lobster roll and it was amazing. Their fresh coconut was very refreshing and sweet. We came with a family of 5, and love how their menu offers a variety of seafood, clubs, subs, and sandwiches. My dad had the chicken parm and he said very flavorful. To top off the amazing experience, we finished it off with popsicles and slushes. Overall it was incredible.Perfect beach side portions. My family and I will definitely be back.

Fried Oreos cooked to perfection

Wow! Tiny and cute place. The food was delicious. We ordered steak tidbits & a turkey club. Fries were amazing as well as those deep fried Oreos!!! It was just my boyfriend and I sitting and enjoying our meal but this place deserves more attention! Nicest people too!

The food was immaculate! I ordered the fried scallop seafood boat and Louisiana style clams and lobster roll. The scallops were super fresh and the portion size was very generous. The Louisiana style clams and lobster roll were delicious and very flavorful. The store is situated in a perfect location directly across from the beach and the employees were very kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Loved the new take on the lobster rolls & calms! The Louisiana style is flavor packed & a must try. They have fresh coconuts perfect to sip on as you stroll the beach.

The view did not disappoint as the ocean is in front of you and the food did not disappoint either. I had the best fried clams of my life and the sauces was phenomenal as well. Definitely return when I come back in Boston!

Excellent steak tip salad and the Greek dressing is also great. Service is spotty sometimes.

All 3 of us ordered the egg sandwich. It's cooked egg (like a puck) on 2 slices of plain bread with about 1 teaspoon of cheese that is such a small amount that it doesn't cover most of the egg. That's it. Not enough cheese, no butter, no salt, no pepper. Nothing. They don't even toast the bread. If we had tasked our 6 year old nephew to making us egg sandwiches, this is what he would hand us. My cousins had coffee. One hot and the other cold. Hot reportedly is pretty good and the iced is not very strong. I ordered an iced tea. When iced tea is made fresh from actual tea (a good thing), then sits in the fridge for 6 or 7 days (a bad thing), it gets a very distinctive stale taste and that's exactly what this iced tea had. It was old and stale. I threw it away and since the egg sandwich was so dry, I pulled a bottle of water I had in my beach tote to wash it down. My cousin asked the friendly staffer (super friendly, actually, so a shout out to them) for some salt and this turned into a task. She had to ask someone else and that person had to go off somewhere to get some from a plastic container. If you're going to serve unseasoned food, have salt available, please. I ordered a croissant, which was OK and my other cousin ordered a blueberry slab dessert that was smothered in so much icing that it was sickeningly sweet. We joked that eying it from the side, the icing was thicker than the pastry itself. One of us grabbed a knife and tried to scrape some off to no avail. It fell apart, none of us wanted any more and we tossed most of it. I like to support small businesses, but this was not a good experience for us.

They'd gotten some coverage on a local news show which probably helped fill today's doors, but I've become a regular and they are always busy--but not too busy to have to wait long. The owners are named Rob and Cassandra, both of whom are trained chefs, which means their food is done so well! They bake their freaking bread fresh every single day, and it's wicked good. The chopped sandwich today was so amazing and was way better than some of the ones I've had which seem to dominate reels today. They had some kind of spicy crunchy garlic mayo which was fantastic and didn't overpower the meats. They don't pre-make these or any sandwiches, each made to order, which is so awesomely old-school. Their quality of deli meat and cheese is really exemplary, not grocery store Boar's Head. They have a great, but modestly sized, selection of imported Italian goods including fantastic olive oil, pastas, conservas like anchovies and even caponata! I also urge you to get a made-to-order cannoli, which was absolutely among the best I've ever had. The generous, sweet ricotta filling was thick, but not dense or cloying; we got pistachio and shared one, which was as strategic as slicing a brownie six ways, in the office, to reduce calories. Anyhow, I'm not on the payroll, nor even related, or I'd be there again right now.

This was a spur of the moment find on our way to Hammond Castle (also well worth a visit). We were…read morehangry and looking for breakfast-ish options and Source Bakery more than hit the spot. Their menu is centered around the almighty biscuit - biscuits/scones are one of my favorite ways to inhale carbs but they can run on the too bread-y side of the spectrum. These were fantastic: delicate crumb, beautiful golden color, and sturdy enough to hold in all the sandwich fillings. I went with the classic breakfast egg sandwich (scrambled egg, cheese, and arugula) and added sausage. This was one of those rare situations where the bread vehicle outshined the fillings. The egg, while nice and fluffy (and tasted like real egg instead of the diluted mix I've had elsewhere), could have used some more seasoning and was begging for a healthy dollop of ketchup or hot sauce. The only thing that came through strongly was the salt crystals on the top of the biscuit. Tried a bite of my husband's chicken salad on a cheddar/onion biscuit and had the same reaction - the biscuit overpowered everything else. Not that I'm complaining. The bakery is on a side street off the busier, more touristy Rogers Street. I had this idea too late but next time I'm in Gloucester, I'd take a biscuit sandwich to the beach area along Western Ave. The cafe itself is very, very cute, with little nooks and crannies everywhere for seating and even a comfy looking couch. Bathroom was clean. We found a parking lot one street over in the other direction.
