The egg, while nice and fluffy (and tasted like real egg instead of the diluted mix I've had elsewhere), could have used some more seasoning and was begging for a healthy dollop of ketchup or hot sauce. The only thing that came through strongly was the salt crystals on the top of the biscuit. Tried a bite of my husband's chicken salad on a cheddar/onion biscuit and had the same reaction - the biscuit overpowered everything else. Not that I'm complaining. The bakery is on a side street off the busier, more touristy Rogers Street. I had this idea too late but next time I'm in Gloucester, I'd take a biscuit sandwich to the beach area along Western Ave. The cafe itself is very, very cute, with little nooks and crannies everywhere for seating and even a comfy looking couch.
