Not sure why my original didn't post maybe they paid to delete it? I ordered the lobster roll special for the first time (usually go to Surfside as they're great and also cheaper but I was heading that way and it comes w ff vs chips which since Hungry was great). It says 16.99 online I thought $20 would be enough to cover it but I think it's an outdated price on the site bc then checked the following week in the lot on their sign I think it said 17.99. Still not bad for w ff but when I'm budgeting $ I need to know the total and I'd wished the girl said it. Especially bc I ordered two extra sides of sauce for the ff to try and they must charge bc it came to $22.50 ... it's cheaper to get a whole bottle from the store down the street and i would have had I known. Oh well. The store was cute but WAY too hot and my main issue was at almost halfway into the roll I bit into some shells which cut my gum. I was so hungry and now my mouth hurts and kinda lost appetite bc I'd need to inspect every piece of lobster to eat w confidence. I called to report the issue and as a first and would have been repeat customer bc it was good I'd appreciate an effort to partially reimburse or at least pretend to sound apologetic. I won't ask for it outright but that would be good business/customer service and I'd have been back many times more. At this point I think I'm even more concerned w businesses who pay to take down negative reviews. Ppl are able to sift through valid feedback and complaints on their own so if that's what's happening that says you don't have faith in the integrity of your own business. read more

Earlier this month I was up in Gloucester for a girls weekend. It started raining one evening so we decided to pick up a pizza instead of going out. One of my friends is from New Jersey and she takes her pizza seriously. Whenever her family comes up they always come to this spot when they're in town, so we had to order from here! We got the Melanzana pizza and I've been thinking about it ever since. Big slices, super flavorful sauce, and the toppings were really well balanced. Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Seriously wanna go back to Gloucester just for this pizza!! read more

We had their pizza last night. It was really good. Much, much better than the pizza place in downtown Rockport and the one in the Shaws Plaza, I think the name of that one is, Gloucester Pizza and roast beef. The pizza at Uncle Frank's tastes a bit like Pappa Ginos, which is our favorite place to go. Keep up the good work Uncle Frank we'll see you again soon with the family. read more

Hidden Gem just 5 minutes from Good Harbor Beach. My friend and I came here after a Long Beach day and the place was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Food was absolutely delicious and they gave a generous serving size for a very reasonable price. Everything tasted very fresh- gonna be a new regular spot for us! read more

I recently ordered take out for a grilled chicken kabob salad and a small roast beef sub. The salad was basic lettuce, peppers, onion, tomato and raw broccoli? Never saw that before. Big disappointment with the chicken. It was not grilled but browned on a skillet under a press. Top that dry chicken with dry pre-crumbled feta out of a bag and charge me $32 for the order! For that kind of money I expect so much more. I won't be back. read more

A friend suggested I try them based on hearsay and proximity. Pretty disappointing overall. Hot sub was stingy and flavorless, pizza burned and the crust seemed like a freezer pizza. Would not try again. read more

Won a gift card they donated to a charity, so first of all, love a business that supports local charities. Got a couple subs and a couple Greek salads. Salads were huge, enough for 2. I had the Italian w hots, meat piled hi, and veggies were fresh and crisp. Will definitely come back. read more

Pizza is the best I've ever had in Gloucester. The staff is great, he subs are just ok, stingy with the meats and lacks flavor.

Our first visit and the pizza was burnt. We also had a side of fries and chicken fingers for the kiddos and they were under-cooked in the middle and burnt on the edges. They appeared to have been baked vs. fried which may have been the problem. We may try again after they've been open a bit longer, but won't be in a hurry to go back. read more

Highly recommend!! We were visiting from VA and ordered some to go food. Meatball sub was homemade and delicious. Quattro formaggi pizza, steak bombs and Greek salad were all fresh and delicious as well. Food was ready in 20 minutes and staff were friendly.
