Eggs Nicole

The food is amazing! The taste is fresh and the options are lengthy. I highly recommend the eggs Nicole and their Viennese coffee. The service was great and the ambiance was pretty good. This establishment is at the top of a hill so you even get a view of silverdale. I would definitely recommend this cafe. They close at 3 pm so go early!

Another fantastic breakfast at Oak Table Cafe! This is now our second time visiting and we love it. The service staff are so nice and the inside is very well decorated. When in town, you must visit!!!

Please read if you plan to order the apple pancake special here! It's massive. Please share I got it thinking it wasn't so big and I had so much leftover! It was delicious but very sweet. I ordered an egg as a side. The service was phenomenal and super on top of things. They have lots of seating and bathrooms are accessible. Overall a great experience!

This spot is walking distance from my sister and BIL's apartment, which makes for a nice stroll before and after a meal. We came here for breakfast on a Friday, and it was pretty busy. It was about a 30 minute wait for our large party. The ambiance is warm, hearty, and homey. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat, you'll enjoy some scenic views of Kitsap Bay and the Peninsula. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many options. Portions are generous as well, so be prepared for leftovers or consider sharing a dish. DRINKS - Viennese Coffee - 3/5: Very sweet for my taste. FOOD - Corned Beef Hash - 4/5: Good and flavorful. - German Pancake - 3/5: I expected it to be thinner, but the portion size was big and filling. This is good for sharing. - Eggs Casey - 3.8/5: Looked more like an omelette than anticipated, but still good. The mushroom gravy on top was flavorful. - Chorizo Omelette - 4/5: A solid shareable plate with plenty of filling and a nice green sour cream sauce. This is a solid brunch option in the Kitsap area, but be prepared for a wait to be seated and for your food. We ended up being there for quite a while, which might be why we were already getting full by the time our meals arrived.

Corn beef hash

This is gourmet restaurant hidden but with view of the valley. Best breakfast place within 100 miles I believe. This time I had in in-house made corn beef hash which was so tender and being 68 I could only eat 25% of but lots of leftovers! Wife had blueberry blintz which were stuffed with creamy ricotta cheese and topped with plump sweet blueberries and powdered sugar. Been going here for years and worth the drive. Check out their family history too as 4 different locations ran by different family members. Champagne, coffee drinks and rich coffee wall super. But also greeted with a smile, and great service. Go early and expect a line if in summer ad you are not an early bird. They also have gourmet lunches. Previously I had their special German pancakes called a bell ringer as they ring a train bell whistle when being served.

Eggs Nicole. Good but wouldn't order a second time. 3.5 stars

Be prepared to WAIT. We waited over 60 minutes to eat. If you can avoid the breakfast rush on a weekend then I would. The interior is unassuming and you can easily tell they have tried to cozy it up in the dining areas but the entrance and hostess counter are very cute. Let's be honest- the food is (at least some of it) is great! We had the corned beef hash, it was moist and the potatoes crisp, (4 out of five stars) I'd come back just for this dish. We also had the eggs Nicole, we would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. The potato pancakes are mid range. The apple sauce which I believe is home made is very delicious. The restaurant has a bell and whistle that is blown every time one of their largest dishes is up on the wait staff bar, it's fun to hear it go off from time to time. Altogether- we may return for a lunch on weekend or breakfast during tbe week.

Fun omelette options and pancakes that come with all of them. I came at 7:00am and it was not busy and the waitress was attentive to my needs. I ordered mushroom omelette and bottomless coffee. It was strange to see a lot of flies around the restaurant and hope the business addresses that soon!

Stopped by here before heading out to Port Angeles. The parking lot was full but luckily we were able to grab a spot after someone drove off. The wait time for a table wasn't too bad. Our server was friendly. I went with their House Favorite: The Gourmet Gobbler. Pretty good turkey sandwich. I only ate half then boxed up the leftovers for the road.

The French toast breakfast

We stumbled upon this place while we were out in Silverdale for the day, and what a gem! Scenic views, cozy ambiance, and amazing food. The staff was very kind even when it was extremely busy. Our food was devoured, it was so delicious. I'm normally not a French toast person but this was the most delicious thing. It tasted like a warm hug. Definitely a comfort food spot! We loved it!! Can't wait to come back!

One of our favorite restaurants for breakfast! The service staff is friendly and very attentive. With the decor of the restaurant and the dinnerware you feel like you're in the Alps.

I cannot believe I have not reviewed Oak Table before. I've been a handful of times and every time we go - it's great service, delicious food (with so many options) and a special atmosphere. Everyone is super nice and makes sure you're accommodated. If you're coming here... you have to get the 49ers - an absolute staple and I've never had anything quite like it. I also got the eggs Benedict with mushroom gravy and it was the perfect savory dish. I think my biggest problem coming here is how many options there are and how I'd like to try every single food item on the menu! Next time I'll have to try something else!! So good.

Eggs Casey, Blueberry Cobbler French Toast, Thick Sliced Bacon, two Eggs sunny side up
Bernardo M.

I checked this place out with some good friends who recommended it to me in the Bremerton/Silverdale Washington. For starters, I was not sure what to order, but the server was nice enough to suggest half orders of two, which I loved but also realized it was too much food, though I still enjoyed it! I ordered the Eggs Casey and an order of the blueberry lemon cobbler French toast instead of the pancakes, and a side of more eggs and bacon (I think I accidentally ordered extra eggs but I didn't mind. Just, wow! So much flavor in each plate, and the eggs were fluffy and everything blended so well together! The ambiance felt very homey and plates were very hearty, you'll definitely get a hefty portion. Definitely would come back!

FAFO Kitchen - OMG!!! Perfectly cooked tomahawk steaks, roasted heads of garlic, bacon, infused, brussels sprouts, and harissa garlic, mashed potatoes

The chef actually called me personally to confirm how low "low sodium" meant. That level of care alone had me ready to give five stars before we even walked through the door. Speaking of the door--the place immediately sets the tone. The interior is modern and sleek, and the entrance door itself is so cool it deserves its own Yelp review. We were greeted by the chef and his wife, which instantly made the evening feel warm and personal. With only four tables total, the setting is incredibly intimate, and we lucked out by having the entire place to ourselves at the chef's table--front-row seats to the magic happening in the kitchen. Dinner and a show, minus the awkward applause. The chef's wife was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We had great conversations with both of them throughout the night, and it truly felt less like dining out and more like being invited into someone's very stylish home--where the hosts just happen to be exceptionally talented. Now let's talk about the food. The first course was scallops with caviar. The scallops were cooked perfectly--moist, tender, and seasoned just right to balance the caviar without overpowering it. Delicate, flavorful, and honestly a strong opening act. Then came the tomahawk--and wow. Cooked to absolute perfection, with a flawless medium-rare center and beautifully rendered, crispy fat. The mashed potatoes were smooth, rich, and paired perfectly with the peppercorn sauce, which tied everything together like it knew exactly why it was there. Add in the roasted garlic, and you get the perfect bite: tomahawk, mashed potatoes, and roasted garlic in one forkful. I'm still thinking about it. Fair warning: while everything was incredibly delicious, this experience does come with a higher price tag. That said, when you factor in the intimate setting, the thoughtful personalization, and the outstanding quality of the food, it absolutely felt worth it. This is the kind of meal you plan for, savor, and quietly judge other dinners against afterward. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Come hungry--and maybe emotionally prepared to miss it the next day.

The owner was incredibly easy to work with and made the whole process seamless. My parents loved the dinner and said it was the best meal they've ever had--which means a lot considering my dad is 85 and my mom is 80. Afterward, the owner even texted me photos of the Christmas dinners he served them, which was such a thoughtful touch. Classy place, exceptional food and service. I can't wait to eat here myself and highly recommend FAFO.
