This restaurant is a pancake house first and foremost. The management owns that status even if it's not explicitly advertised. They serve pancakes in at least 6 different ways and they're easily the best I've ever had. My favorite is the bacon pancake. The bacon is a generous heap of perfectly crispy crumbs that are not too salty, and they go excellent with the smooth creamy pancakes and the real maple syrup. They don't serve and of that aunt jemima garbage here. Even the savory dishes come with 4 pancakes, so it's very much the opposite of most places where the pancakes are a side dish afterthought. The service is very friendly and professional. You'll probably hit a 15-30 minute line when you come here though. The trade off for mind blowing pancakes is the savory options are pretty mediocre. I got a smoked salmon Benedict and the hollandaise was pretty conservatively seasoned, with a small portion of salmon that did not pack as much smoky punch as I'm used to. I'd come back just for pancakes and a side of eggs though. read more

Oak Table Cafe - Smoked Salmon Benedict - New American Near Me - Silverdale, Washington

I have been a Oak Table customer for forty-four years, which started in the original Oak Table in Sequim WA. It's been one of our favorites since we first started going out for breakfast there. But lately, maybe since the "plandemic" not sure exactly, it seems like the bacon which is a favorite for many I am sure, is not as good as before. Not sure if it's precooked and reheated, or it's a less quality product, or maybe both. The portions have become smaller and higher in price. I understand costs for everything has gone up, so, I understand prices go up, but you shouldn't shrink the portions as well, you have to keep producing a quality meal as well. I just want let them know, and they don't slowly go backwards and turn into the many establishments that are subpar at best. I haven't been one to write reviews, but sometimes you have to do or say something to maybe keep things in check. There have been many other places that I have refused to go back, for their low quality, small portions, or not cooked right. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy eating there, this is not a terrible review, I just don't want to see them slowly turn into many others that went backwards too far. Their service is very good and it's still one of our favorite places to eat. I rate it four and a half stars. read more

My wife and I met a friend here for brunch on a Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. Had about a 20 minute wait in the somewhat crowded lobby. Was quite happy I found parking in the lot, as I've had to park down the hill before, which isn't fun when you have an arthritic knee. The food: I still think this place is over-hyped. My wife chose the Italiano Omelet ($20.95). Apparently she's not a fan of "French Baked Omelets", as she didn't care for the almost skin-like texture or the weird old oil flavors she got. Baked omelets have never appealed to me, which is why I didn't order one. Just give me the gently fried over low heat Julia Child type omelet. I had the German Pancake ($20.95), which in most restaurants is called a Dutch Baby (a name likely coined by a Seattle restaurant years ago). I've had them in a number of different restaurants and made them at home. Made perfectly, it should be large, light, and fluffy. The edges of mine fit that definition, but the bottom was far too thick and dense for me...too much flour and not enough beaten egg. It was a bit too chewy; hardly light and fluffy. The one high point for me was the expensive (but worth it) side of thick sliced bacon ($8.65) that I ordered. You get four slices of perfectly cooked, salty, smoky delicious bacon. It's better than any bacon I've ever had in any restaurant. I'd likely return just for the bacon! Service was fine and smiling staff throughout the restaurant greet you when you're being seated and when you leave; a very nice touch. I may return and I may not. Some of the other egg (not omelet) offerings interest me. read more

Excellent breakfast and lunch selections, friendly service. Essentially, this is one large room with tables in it. Not as private as some might like. They can get very busy quickly, so make sure you get there in plenty of time for breakfast or for lunch. We have eaten here many times and it doesn't disappoint! read more

Looooooong wait times but delicious breakfast. This is my go to spot to take my nieces and nephew out for brunch. Their Bloody Mary is tasty and I'm a big fan of their Eggs Benedict. The pancakes are huge and the service is always great. I recommend going on a weekday, to avoid the wait. read more

Very cute cafe on the top of the hill which provides great views of Silverdale. The food came in very large portions and was delicious. The lighter fare meal is a good deal with a more reasonable sized meal plus coffee and freshly squeezed juice! Servers were all friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. read more

I really wanted to give this place a good review. My family lives here & has visited this establishment several times and raved and applauded the food. We arrived on Saturday morning and checked in with the front desk at about 9:45, 9:50. We were told a party of 4 would be 30-40 minutes but "it should be before that" was said to us with a really big smile. We waited and watched all the lovely dishes come out and the employees bustling and looking efficient. From where we stood we had a view of the hostess desk top, the seating ledger and front door. Around 10:10 a party of 3 came in, gave their name at the desk and stood across from us. Approximately 10 minutes after they arrived a party of 4 came in and did the same thing, went to the desk, GAVE THEIR NAME, and waited. At 10:22 that party was called "Cameron party of 4". We went to the desk to check what was happening as they came in well after us. Basically that should've been our table. "No she says you have 5-8 minutes more."So we should've then been next. Nope. The party of 3 was called. We're now coming on an hour wait. The manager was at the desk and did nothing to better the situation or even rectify it. Horrible. To make us feel like it's our fault, or we're lying and also happy to see us leave is hurtful and disturbing. read more

Our server, Josh, was very friendly and helpful. He explained the menu in detail and offered to modify kitchen service to accommodate our taste. The pancakes in the light fair combo were fluffy and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The bacon, from a specialty butcher, lived up to its billing (pictured) and had the perfect crisp. The Eggs Nicole (pictured) was a wonderful restaurant specialty with onions, spinach, and just-rich-enough hollandaise. The apple mimosa (pictured) was uniquely delightful with a pineapple and brown sugar rim. We enjoyed the festive environment and holiday decorations. We would recommend getting to this restaurant early because of limited parking and long lines. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while but it always seemed so busy. Came on a Sunday after church for brunch. Super clean facilities however there was a long wait time to be seated. We were giving an estimate of 30-40 minutes ended up waiting for an hour. The waiting area is small so be prepared to stand. Parking was also a hassle as the upper lot seems to be full all the time but there's parking on the lower levels so long as your party can walk a steep hill. Once seated service was amazing. Our waitress was super attentive and our entrees were delivered quickly. The portion sizes are large so be prepared! Highly recommend the eggs Nicole. read more

Food and service was exceptional . Almost too many choices on the menu. Potato pancakes to die for. View from the table was fantastic.

This busy breakfast spot is tucked away in a kind of weird spot behind a retirement community, but has a nice view over Silverdale. We went on a Sunday morning around 9 and it was a 25 minute wait for a table for four. The servers were really friendly and accommodating for us and the 1 yr old we had with us. I had the venetian coffee and eggs Casey. The venetian coffee was delicious. The eggs Casey was a little unusual with a croissant underneath the eggs and mushroom gravy on top. It was actually quite delicious. I especially liked the crispness of the croissant. It also came with (3) buttermilk pancakes! It was a lot of food! We ordered the seasonal fruit and cream too to go on top of the pancakes. It was kind of a lot with powdered sugar, heavy cream, and whipped cream, so good though! read more

Best food for breakfast and lunch. Eggs Nicole is my fave breakfast. But the fruit blintzes, the omelettes and the pancakes are all delish! The gourmet gobbler is my fave sandwich, but I have never had anything bad from here. The waffle fries and their ranch are so good! read more

The wait on a Friday mid morning was about 20min, which was fine and expected based on reviews. When we got seated, we had a nice window seat which was lovely. They have adequate spacing between tables so you don't feel like you're on top of people, which was nice, but still had a cozy vibe. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed a light but flavorful omelette, my friend had the quiche. It was a bit dense in the crust, but otherwise she was happy with it. The service was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was super nice and friendly. The only downside is parking, but they're just a really busy place. We had to circle quite a few times before finally getting a spot, and there is more parking down the hill. Otherwise, a place worth checking out read more

I'm definitely coming here again, when I'm in this neck of the woods. Perfectly tucked away with a gorgeous view of the Pacific North West. If you're visiting or from out of town, you won't regret the comfort and warmth of this feel good place. Although it seemed crowded and parking was a tiny wait, we were able to get in almost immediately. Sat at a very comfortable booth, barely peeking at the spectacular mountain view of the cold outside, feels like you're in a log cabin of sorts. The German pancake was UH-MAZING and so was the coffee!! And that coffee refills kept coming, just like I like em. I don't think there was a negative comment from anyone in our group. The portions were plenty and everso generous. We don't live near here, but the plan is to visit whenever we are in town. read more

My family and I will definitely be returning next time we are in the Silverdale area. The service was wonderful. The staff were friendly and made great suggestions. Josh, (along with the others), are very knowledgeable about what they are serving, which is always a plus. I went with the half-order of Buckwheat pancakes, which was more than enough. I am picky about my pancakes, but these were delicious, (for those of you wondering, they had an earthy, banana-bread taste to them - surprisingly delicious)! This place has a very ski-resort feel. You have a great view, if it is not too foggy. The trees and mountain top are beautiful to look at. The place gets busy, but there is still plenty of room, which I appreciate. 10/10!!! read more

Such a lovely restaurant in a beautiful location! Located on a hilltop overseeing Silverdale and all the majestic trees and lake, it was a great was to start off my morning!! If you're lucky to get a window seat, it's even better! Overall the restaurant is great, large enough for small/large groups. They primarily serve breakfast 7 days a week and lunch Monday - Friday, which is awesome! The food selection for breakfast is great and delicious. I really wish I had stomach enough for 2 dishes lol or even enough time to go back a second time, but time was limited . I'll have to go during my next visit to the PNW. The service was great. The hostess was super nice and professional. Wait time was average to other places, 15-20 minutes max. Our server was nice, not as nice as the hostess but still friendly and helpful. The food quality was delicious!! They're known for their thick cuts of crunchy, delicious, bacon and it was soooo good! I had the corned beef hash and was expecting canned corned beef hash and to my surprise I was stunned at the large delicious portion of authentic corned beef hash!! 10/10 for sure!! I was eyeing another tables blue berry French Toast lol it looked so beautiful. Fluffy and delicious (my pick for next time for sure!! Wow! I love this location of Oak Table Cafe! We live in Sequim and have visited the Sequim location several times. This is our first time visiting the Silverdale location and we were certainly not disappointed! The menu is very much the same in both locations, but the ambiance, nicely upholstered booth dining, tall 25 feet high windows give us a fabulous view at this location. It made the meal that much more enjoyable when you gave such a beautiful setting! Yay, oak table! This will be our breakfast of choice while visiting our ophthalmologist in Silverdale! read more

Be prepared to wait a while, it gets busy and most likely you will have to wait a minimum of 30 min but it is worth it. This homey restaurant gives a pretty good size portion and is very tasty. We stopped in today for a delicious meal! Our server recommended eggs Casey and the blueberry cobbler French toast, which we already had our eyes on!! They were absolutely perfect. The eggs were extremely well cooked with the most delicious texture. The croissant was so flavorful, and each element stood alone - and when put together were incredible. By far though, the blueberry cobbler French toast was a stand out. Where does that bread come from!? It's so fluffy and amazing!!?!? The blueberry syrup, fresh berries, whipped cream, and all topped with lemon curd....transcendent!! Will be back. read more

This place is amazing!!! The food is unrivaled in my opinion. We had eggs benedict , German pancakes, kid's bear pancake and an omelet. Even the coffee with real cream is a treat. On a second visit we had cherry blintzes and a German pancake. We couldn't decide on apple, blueberry or strawberry syrup so the waitress brought all 3!! All were delicious. I LOVED the potato pancakes that came with the benedict. We never go if we're in a hurry because it's so popular that there is usually a wait. I wouldn't change a thing from the friendly staff, to delicious food! I would suggest maybe offering half orders or smaller portions for seniors as you serve huge portions. Keep up the great work. read more

Typically love this place and usually have a good experience however this time we placed a to go order that said it would be done at 1017. We show up early at 10, check in with the hostess and let her know about our to go order, she checks and says it'll be ten minutes. Okay, 1010 rolls around and nothing, 1017 rolls around still nothing, 1034 rolls around and still nothing. Check back in with the hostess stand and they go to check on our food. Well it's been ready, we get home five minutes later and the food is okay, a bit cold, and the containers have retained condensation so it's a bit soggy. Usually love this place but definitely feel disappointed this time around. read more

Looking for somewhere to eat local when finishing an escape room we found this place. The location is odd, surrounded by apartments, but once you get there the view is great and makes sense. In the lobby you can see the owners affinity for World Records. Apparently we picked the perfect time to come as the wait was a mere 5 minutes. The menu was large, extremely pricey for a breakfast spot but the portions were huge. They bragged about their bacon on the menu so I had to get an order. It was okay, but not worth the price at all. I got the apple pancake and my wife the mexican omelette - again, HUGE portions so that sort of offset the prices. The omelette claimed to the French style but tasted the same as others. I think perhaps it stayed in a tad long because jt was missing that creamy finish. Overall good food, prices a bit on the high side (portions weren't worth the price for OJ and bacon) read more

SO Full - not even kidding!!! Wife and I went there today (7/14/24) for a spot of breffy - middle daughter recommended after her and her BF went there his last visit. Wife ordered "pigs in blankets" and I ordered the Chorizo Omelette. I swear, SO big it was going to snap the waitress's wrist. Was at least 2" thick - yet amazingly light and sumptuous. Both of us got iced tea for beverages. Ambience was homemade, yet funky. Definitely recommend at least trying it. Wasn't inexpensive but you'll be definitely getting your moneys worth. read more
