Zach and his team at Oak & Honey catered our wedding in upstate NY in August. We opted for his family style Mediterranean menu for 130 people on the Saturday night and bagels and lox for a recovery brunch the next day. Working with Zach was a great experience from the very beginning. He hosted us for an amazing tasting in early 2019 so we could get an idea of the different options for canapes, appetizers, mains, desserts etc. and we left so happy and SO full (with plenty of leftovers). For the actual wedding his attention to detail was incredible and we were really happy with how everything turned out. All the food was presented beautifully, the team made sure to save me and my husband a special plate of canapes since we were so busy milling around and they assigned us a personal server at dinner which was a very nice touch. Everything was so seamless and thoughtful and our friends and family are still raving about the food. Zach also prepped us late night food: the BEST grilled cheese with caramelized onions (still dreaming about it), pop corn and smores - these were a big hit. I'd recommend the Oak & Honey team to anyone. They have a great selection of menus to suit different tastes and price points plus they're really great people. Zach and the rest of the team at Oak & Honey were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! They came highly recommended and exceeded each and every one of our expectations for our big day. They worked with us to help set the menu and bar list as well as significantly contribute to the planning of the logistics of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We had to pivot the location of our wedding to a private residence on very short notice and Zach and the Oak & Honey team were essential to making the transition seamless. The food menu was sophisticated and delicious and made the best possible use of all the seasonal and local ingredients of the New York area in the fall. The specialty cocktails the bartenders concocted were a huge hit with the guests and there was no request the bar staff was not able to fulfill. His support and wait staff were professional, courteous, and went out of their way to make us and our guests feel like we were being taken care of. BLOWN AWAY! Oak and Honey just recently catered our 60 person corporate event in Brooklyn and the food was by far the highlight of the night. Our team still talks about it on a daily basis. Zach and Holly were extremely accommodating and always reachable leading up to the event. We had just as much fun planning the menu as we did at the actual party. They embraced our crazy requests, curated a menu around some of the products our company sells, and was extremely responsive and careful with all types of allergy and dietary restrictions. The Oak and Honey staff was extremely professional and personable. Not your typical, stuffy wedding caterer. We opted for family style dining and Zach and his team beyond nailed it. We never ran out of food, yet had little to no waste. Everything was hot (when needed), presented beautifully and FRESH! It's obvious that they care about sourcing high quality, local ingredients. Oak and Honey catered my COVID wedding and they were nothing short of extraordinary. Their food is DELICIOUS (every guest had something good to say about it) and they were kind, extremely safe, and so easy to work with. They went above and beyond by supporting my family in setting up/cleaning up the backyard. Oak & Honey catering is nothing short of amazing. Everything is locally sourced and super fresh. The creativity, flavors, textures and colors in every meal are stunning. Zach puts so much care into what he does that you truly feel it from the beginning of the experience all the way through to the end. I've tried his INSANE charcuterie boards at events and also ordered smaller meal kits to share with 3-5 friends. Whatever the occasion, I'm constantly impressed. 100% would work with again. I used them for a surprise proposal in Prospect Park that I decided to have catered a little last minute. Zach was terrific to work with. He was extremely responsive and the food was perfect for the picnic I planned. We did picnic boxes for a group of 18 people, which helped for social distancing and safety so people weren't all sharing food.
