I used Hoboken Catering to provide the food for my guests at my wedding. it was a complete success. Todd the owner himself came to set up the food service. I have worked with Todd in the past in a professional setting. His service has always been the highest quality and my wedding was no exception. Even my most pickiest eaters thoroughly enjoyed their food. Todd made all my dreams for my wedding come true. my wedding was everything I ever wanted read more

Our daughter was married in Jersey City, NJ and coming from Florida, we needed to find a caterer for a post-wedding brunch. We were very fortunate to find Hoboken Catering for that event. We had booked a venue in a local hotel and contacted Todd at Hoboken Catering for the food. Todd was incredible! He responded quickly to all of my long distance inquires and suggested several menus from which we could choose that were with our budget. The day of the event, he and his staff prepared the perfect buffet meal for our guests. They exceeded our expectations and we HIGHLY recommend Hoboken Catering for any of your catering needs. read more

Todd and his catering crew are AWESOME! We've used them the last several years to cater our Jets Tailgates for over 100 people. Always on time, great selection of various breakfast and lunch items and will always surprise us with an extra treat! Highly recommend!! They're the BEST! read more

We used Hoboken catering for a corporate event, and the food was AMAZING! There were a ton of dietary restrictions, and they worked with us to ensure there was food for everyone. All the guests were asking where the food was from because it was so good, and so many different types of cuisines, all executed so well. Will 100% be working with them again in the future! read more

Amazing amazing amazing. The food was great and Todd was wonderful. They helped me come up with a menu and set up a beautiful table at my event. Could not recommend enough. We used Barsky gallery as our venue and the partnership was wonderful read more

I echo the other reviews about what a good choice Hoboken Catering is for catering of your parties. My wife and I hired Todd to cater our house party of 48. We asked to sample the menu, so Todd brought over a sampling of selections that we asked about. We selected 9 appetizers which were more than plenty and ordered our wine selection from Sparrows. For our party, Todd provided everything else needed included glasses, platters, etc., along with two servers and a prep chef. They were all exceptional during the evening and cleaned up after the party was over. Our guests are still remarking about how good the food and service was. All in all, Hoboken Catering is good value and delivers a fine product. We will be returning for future needs. read more

I don't leave many reviews, but Hoboken catering was fantastic!! They helped cater for my daughter's first birthday party. We ordered a bunch of small appetizers, salads, and pasta. Everything was phenomenal. The guests were very impressed. Also, Todd the owner was very helpful and communicative. He was great to work with. We look forward to using Hoboken catering for all future events! read more

Todd and his team were amazing! So helpful, friendly and polite. The food was also delicious! Highly recommend them for any event.

Had a great experience booking for a corporate event. The food was delicious, service was great and they helped us arrange everything. Definitely would recommend them to others and would come back to have them help with future events! read more

Hoboken Catering came highly recommended because everyone uses them in our building to throw parties for the common space. This seemed convenient for me so I didn't look elsewhere. Throughout the entire process, Todd was extremely responsive and helpful. We paid $2500 for 55 guests for a birthday party including two servers and one bartender for a 5 hour timeframe. The bartender was very friendly and did a great job. The servers did their job but I received attitude when she tried to take away the food and not all my guests had arrived. Unfortunately our common room doesn't have an oven and the sternos didn't do enough to keep the food hot. I had several close family members let me know the food wasn't very hot. Also, I paid per head and two of the main entrees (chicken and steak) and it was completely gone before the guest of honor (my husband) plus 4 guest got to eat. I also had 3 no shows. There is no way there should not have been leftovers of every item when you're paying per head. If I had just ordered trays of food from a local restaurant it would've been cheaper (not including cost of service) and I would've had more food to go around. I never ever assumed there wouldn't be enough food for the amount of money I was paying. We did however have a tray of salmon left over - but who wants room temperature salmon? Gross. Salmon wasn't my first pick either but on the suggested menu it was listed so I went with it assuming it was a customer favorite. Because of the embarrassment I felt, Hoboken Catering gets 2 stars. Maybe my guests eat more or other people's party spaces have had better kitchen facilities but the next time I have a party, I will look elsewhere and if you live in Maxwell Place, you should too. read more

Last week was my 2nd time using Hoboken Catering (this time at Barsky Gallery) and again, they did not disappoint. They arrived early for the set-up, all of the looked and tasted delicious and their staff (a server and a bartender) were professional-looking and personable. I very highly recommend this catering company! read more

Food and service were phenomenal. Todd and his team were completely autonomous once they arrived on site and we received many compliments on the food! Booking was flexible and Todd was able to provide great recommendations to accommodate the changes we made. He also worked with our own bartender to ensure a smooth transition. My fiancé and I were able to just enjoy our party which is priceless. Would absolutely book again! read more

Todd and his team provided catering for a cocktail reception for about 40 people at our home. They were very responsive and accepted to job at short notice. Our guests made several positive comments about the quality of the food, and as hosts, the ability to leave everything to Todd and his team enabled us to engage our guests. They are highly professional and I would highly recommend Hoboken Catering. read more

I used Hoboken Catering for my birthday party for 20 people and it was a great success. Todd has great attention to detail and everything ran smoothly. A number of guests commented on how delicious the food was and our two wait staff were friendly and capable without being intrusive. We held the event in our apartment and I was super happy that Todd showed up himself to help do the set-up (even though the event must have been small by his standards). Thank you Todd and team, very nice job! read more

I always get tremendous benefit from contributors at yelp but I really did not have a chance to write any yet. Poor excuse - simply too busy Hoboken catering was serving for us on my son's first birthday. It was only 10 person party. First, Tood did great follow up from the very first inquiry. He seems to be very deligent to reply to email using his smart phone. I just loved it. Of course, he and his staff arrived on time. Food was as exactly as he promised to deliver and served warm and nice. His staff was very nice too. We had done few caterings recently including our son's 100th day party. His food was a lot better than other caterers we used recently and price was pretty reasonable too. I will have no hesitation to use this company again for next event and strong recommend you to contact him. read more

My fiancé hired Todd and his team for my birthday Party he hosted at our apartment. From start to finish the food, and rental equipment recommendations were perfect. His team Joe, Joe and Ozzy were great, professional and kept all glasses full and the food flowing. I would definitely recommend using them for any event and will be using them again for our next event! read more

Todd is a total badass. My husband and I had our wedding last week at Kolo Klub in Hoboken - Todd was the 2nd caterer we met. The first rubbed us the wrong way; when we sat down with Todd it was so easy and laid back, he made us feel comfortable right away. Thank goodness we found him! Not only is Todd really easy to work with - he's super understanding, accommodating and has great prices! We did a menu for 100 people - all cocktail party style. Anything I threw Todd's way, he figured out how to include it in the way that I wanted. He also made sure that he and his staff fed my Husband and I during our party.. otherwise, we would have totally missed out on the food! The entire wedding was amazing but with Todd's help, our guests were full and really enjoyed their food. With Todd and his servers, our guests felt like they were taken care of and served well throughout the night. I can't recommend Todd any more highly. He's a really laid back, easy caterer to work with who listens and does everything he says he's going to do. Nothing was missing, nothing was done wrong.. in fact, Todd and his team over delivered. For the cost, it's well worth hiring Hoboken Catering for anything. read more

I used Hoboken Catering for a bridal shower at Barsky Gallery last weekend. Todd was super-responsive and flexible. We had numerous email and phone consultations and, each time, he followed up promptly and politely with additional pricing and other feedback. Hoboken Catering prepared my hors d'oeuvres (shrimptinis, bruschetta, and assorted fresh fruit) and staffed my event with a staff server and bartender. The food was fresh and tasty and service was impeccable! The day of the event, Todd and his staff were already in place before I arrived and it meant the world to me that Todd was so willing to help me set up my event. Todd helped to bring my stress levels down tremendously that day - he was very invested in making my event a success. The glasses were kept full and food was replenished! It was perfect! If you need a caterer in North Jersey, look no further! The next time I need a caterer in that area, I will only call one place and that's Hoboken Catering! read more

I don't have enough words to say how thankful I am to Todd! Without him my party wouldn't be possible! I was too stressed and Todd managed the food, presentation and rentals from beggining to end. He was always available to discuss the ideas for my party. He made my dream come true! He provided the rentals and was always suggesting ideas for my vision and the theme of the party. The food was excellent and EXCELLENT value! Both, quantity and quality! Everybody loved the food! Elegant, minimalistic presentation... just perfect for my gallery venue! The server he brought along was amazing as well, her name is Ruth. People still talking of how wonderful the service and food was! read more

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Todd for our wedding. His pricing was very fair and the food was fantastic. Literally inedible. My party paid $50 a head for some terribly cooked chicken and green beans. Do not get catering from here, it is not worth a tenth of what we paid. I cannot stress enough how disgusting the food was. read more

This company is AMAZING!! The owner, Todd, is extremely professional and the food is out of this world! I cannot thank him enough for making my party a complete success. I knew I needed help when the evite responses started coming in with barely a decline. 100 acceptances... and counting! A friend of discerning taste and frequent social gatherings suggested Hoboken Catering. Todd was great advising on menus, amounts and arrangements. Everything was right. My husband and I used Hoboken Catering to cater our wedding reception on 10/28/12 which was held at Sinatra Park and it was one of the best decisions we made! I found Hoboken Catering only two months before my wedding when we realized that everything else we had planned went way over the budget we actually had and Todd was so great! The food was delicious, our guests could not stop talking about how good it was! The set up was great, everything was set out so lovely before all of us arrived from NYC since our ceremony was in grand central and the whole process was awesome! Because of the pending hurricane (Sandy) we ended up having to change everything from ceremony location/time to reception time on the actual morning of our wedding day and when i informed Todd that we needed things to be set up hours before originally planned, he was ready! Todd really saved the day! Wonderful service, excellent food and extremely affordable pricing are what you get with Hoboken Catering. Thank you Todd and everyone for helping us through one of the most important and chaotic days of our lives. Love, Sonja and Joe read more

From first meeting with Todd to event you will not be disappointed. This was the first experience using Hoboken Catering for a client event. Todd assisted with menu advice and room recommendations. Outstanding and extremely tasty food. Todd and his crew provided the food for a simple family get together we had. The food was way, way better than I had anticipated. Sometimes with these catering companies the food just ends up being OK since it's cooked in bulk, sits out for a bit before you eat it, etc. Not the case here. I was shocked how good the food tasted. I am still eating leftovers (and I don't usually like leftovers!). Company was organized and very on time. Enjoyed working with these people. read more

My mom hired Hoboken Catering to cater my baby shower, which we held in the my condo building's rooftop residence lounge in Hoboken on April 6, 2014. They were superb. In advance of the event, my mom tells me that Todd Baily was very responsive and easy to communicate with by email, and that the pricing was very reasonable. He provided detailed information and options regarding the menu, linens, waitstaff, serveware, glassware, and cutlery - basically, the whole party, top to bottom. We used the traditional baby shower brunch menu that is available on their website, and all of the food was delicious. It was the perfect amount (with some leftovers, which I appreciated!), and was also arranged beautifully - Todd and his staff arrived well in advance to make sure everything was ready to go well before any guests arrived. We also had a waiter available to pour drinks and bring out additional food. She was very professional and made sure everything was progressing smoothly. Hoboken Catering is clearly a well-oiled machine, and I will definitely be using them again for future catering needs. read more
