The night Market has been going steadily for about a year and it's definitely here to stay. The…read morefood and other vendors are a great mix of offerings, and although it impacts the parking for the driving range and golfers, it's just one night a week on Tuesday, so not too bad. I've been seeing all the food vendors but never had tried them until tonight. After hitting balls at the range, I was headed out and the aroma of all the food got to me, so I decided to get something to take home. I selected Keeks Eatz, and ordered the Karaage Chicken plate. The food is made to order, so it did take quite a while (over 15 minutes) to get my plate, but it was worth the wait. The chicken was still crisp when I got home and the portion was large. I could barely eat half the plate, so saved the rest for tomorrow. It's served with either tossed greens or a scoop of Mac salad, and comes with 2 dipping sauces; garlic aioli and spicy mayo. The market has a "core" of regular food and gift product vendors, with some others rotating in and out. They encompass the roundabout driveway fronting Jolene's entrance, and also use the event space inside, as well. It's a nice event that offers a great mix for everyone, with people around the neighborhood walking down the street to attend. I hope they continue for years to come.

Shopping and dining in Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i…read more.. My neighbor was very enthusiastic about Bay View Night Market and offered to drive me there. Okay! Located at Bay View Golf Park, this Night Market happens every Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Our goal was to get there before 4pm for better parking. We didn't want to do the valet service for $5. Some cars were parked on the grassy areas along Kaneohe Bay Drive. We probably got the last free spot in the parking lot! My neighbor told me to get my food first as she would secure us a table on the Lanai (patio). Smart move! By the time I found her, all of the sofa areas and dining tables were full! There were many food trucks, food vendors, tables filled with snacks and baked goods, and some crafts, jewelry, and dog treats. It was kind of overwhelming, especially when the live music began. I finally decided to patronize Jenny's Birria because it was Taco Tuesday! LOL! My neighbor got a plate from middle eats - she had tasted their food in the past and enjoyed it! We probably will be back! Note: my neighbor checks out the Instagram page for the Bay View Night Market, looks at the list of vendors, then decides if she wants to attend or not.

From the beginning of our interaction, my dad just asked to make sure if they had coconuts as a joke and she was not pleased. The lady here also decided to choose like the worst coconut for us as if it was on purpose. Not sure how you run a coconut stand and can't tell what coconut is good??Ours was so hard and not enjoyable. She also didn't even fully open it and it's not like there was anyone else waiting -- it was just us and our family. I'd recommend to just keep driving on the highway and get your coconut fix elsewhere. The service here just wasn't great.

It's located on the front yard of a property and has parking available for a few cars. They accept both cash and venmo payments. The coconuts were reasonably priced and had plenty of fresh coconut water. Once you finish the coconut water, they'll cut it open for you so you can enjoy the coconut meat. There are lots of chickens, roosters and geese on the property and they aren't aggressive. It was fun to feed them while we were there.

On top of that I still have to cook dinner. This stand is my huge help to get through the week. A break, a relief, a breather when I feel like I'm drowning in everyday responsibilities. It's also an encouragement to keep going because of the workers whom are sisters, husband and wife, mother and daughter, grandchildren all working hard together. Giving great service with a smile on their face and making it through the everyday daily grind together. Type of Food: Buk Buk kitchen serves different Filipino dishes that my mom enjoys but I always come for the tasty, tender, marinated to perfection bar-b-q grilled chicken. A few times they offered Hawaiian dishes and other local dishes. Here and there I mix it a bit and get a combo with the thinly sliced beef. I get the family size which perfectly feeds my boys and I. Yeah, my husband has to fend for himself. It comes with 4 generous scoops of rice, salad, and four cut up pieces of chicken for $12. Locaton: Buk Buk kitchen is associated with Mahiku farmers market. They travel to different areas. It's not your usual "farmers market" with fresh produce though there are some grab and go treats and even some food trucks/carts which is a wonderful way to take the much needed break or like me to get your day started as your brain still need that help to bloom, but what you'll find are more of a crafted items that are very unique find. I have to admit whenever I need an escape I do absolutely love to browse around the area of the many lots Lokahi Market in Kailua where majority of the lots are shaded and whatever the weather is you're fully covered. Sometimes there are special events like on this day the humane society was there to show the many cuties looking for home and is so touching to see that many was adopted...very sweet! Come down to Kailua and see all the cool various vendors every Sunday from 9am to 1pm on Uluniu Street though as around there are three lots and though there are many vendor that are there regularly there are some pop ups that makes it's special appearance as it's never a dull moment here in Kailua. Thank you!
