I ordered the grilled chicken cutlet bento, along with a classic milk tea with grass jelly. The grilled chicken cutlet bento came with rice (minced pork on top), veggies, a tea egg, and bamboo shoots with meat and wood ear mushrooms. The grilled chicken was SPECTACULAR. It had a crunch and crisp with a sweet glaze on top. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy. The portions were HUGE as well. They literally gave two whole layers of the chicken. O2 valley is definitely my go to location when we are out of ideas of where we should go eat. We ordered my fav basil chicken and popcorn chicken plus turnip cake for the two of us to share. I like the basil chicken because usually it has a nice spicy kick to it. I also really enjoy the turnip cake because usually it comes nice and toasty. There's a slight crisp on the outside and it is soft on the inside. It is not like the ones you might have @ dim sum restaurants that might have been left out for hours. I also like the popcorn chicken because usually they give a lot of it so that it is hard to finish. So, we always have extra food left over to take home. Plus they will give you a cool lid, rubber band and bag to take your fav stuff home. Also if the food isn't spicy enough for you they have additional spicy powder @ the table to increase the level for yourself. Although I think we went a little too crazy with this that we were both coughing and sneezing from accidental inhaling of the powder. Actually, to make matters even worse, I suddenly laughed about something and I got some this spiced up rice up my nose. And man that was a lot of coughing and blowing of my nose with watery eyes. Something to note is that they have a variety of sauces available, including their own spicy mushroom chili sauce, which I tried. I just put a little on my tofu before I left. I placed a quick order over the phone for pick up and got their spicy basil chicken bento, 2 chicken cutlet bentos, grilled jumbo squid, crispy tofu, Taiwanese sausage, and their rose early grey milk tea with boba and the golden mango oolong tea with boba (about $96 total). The food was ready when I got there and still hot when I got back home. The chicken cutlet was very crispy, tender, and super flavorful- it was hard to stop eating! I also really enjoyed the crispy tofu and the garlic sauce that came with it. However, I think I could've done without the 2 drinks because even though the boba was good, the teas were not that memorable and both drinks were pretty sweet even though I asked for them to be lightly sweetened. This bento box lasted me for 2 meals so I would say it was worth the $16 price tag. *Black tea with salted cheese 50% sweet, 25% ice- the tea was brewed strong and the salted cheese was overly sweet, instead it enhanced the blandness of the black tea. I would get it again! *Lychee yogurt smoothie - Super refreshing with a strong lychee flavor. The other bentos here are also good, and definitely try a few out to see what you like. I feel like they are definitely good portions and offer a nicely balanced meal in terms of variety of flavors. The minced pork over the rice that came with the bento was a nice touch and was just as delicious as the chicken. Portion size was really good and we got full between 3 people for both bentos. The jasmine green milk tea tasted pretty generic but was still a nice addition on the side. I got my drink less sweet, and it tasted similar to a half sweet you would get at a standard chain boba shop so the sweetness of these drinks by default are a bit on the lower end which I appreciated but others may want their drinks sweeter. I AM OBSESSED! This place is officially my go-to for fried chicken in the Bay. Parking and Service Parking is not the best here. I'd recommend parking in the back (behind the restaurant), in the residential area (behind the back parking lot), or across the street in Main St Plaza. When you come in, you can order online (there are QR codes on the table) or in-person at the cashier. There isn't too much seating so I wouldn't recommend coming with a group larger than 6 people. Food I'm a HUGE fan of San Tung's fried chicken in San Francisco, but this place might give them a run for their money. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Cutlet Bento (Mild Spice) and OH. MY. GOSH. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I don't know what kind of witch craft they put on top of the chicken but it's crack. The side dishes are a nice balance to how flavorful the chicken is (not saying they're bland - just lightly flavored). You can swap out the rice for veggies and egg for another side dish (if you're allergic) - just let the cashier know. Perks Some other awesome things about O2 Valley is that they have their own Spicy Mushroom (?) Sauce at the dine-in tables. It's delicious! Came here after work around 3:00 pm on a weekday and it was relatively empty when we came in. It was my first time checking out O2 Valley so I was excited to see what they had. They offered a variety of different bento/lunch box options and I decided to go with the fried chicken cutlet set alongside some honey green tea. For the price, I was very surprised with how substantial the portion was! Honestly speaking I could've had 2 servings out of the meal but I ended up finishing most of it during the 2 hour period I was there chatting with my friend. The bento was so good! The chicken was very crispy and well seasoned, even better with some sriracha/hot sauce. There was also a side of tomato egg stir fry which was honestly the highlight of the lunch for me. It reminded me of my dad's tomato egg dish so I absolutely loved it. There was also a tea egg, braised pork sauce on top of rice, and some veggies. Everything was so perfectly seasoned and delicious.
