O' sooo good!!! This place is great. The service is some of the best you can get shout out to Beatrish! the ambiance was a perfect mix of fancy where you can tell it's Michelin guide restaurant while keeping the same theme of a butcher shop! The food is amazing! No words can describe how good this is but I can definitely say that it was some of the best food I have had period.

We didn't discover "O Talho" until the second night of our three night stay in Lisbon. I wish we had been able to try all three of Chef Kiko's places. We did the Chef's Tasting Menu and couldn't have been happier. We started with the best Gin & Tonic I've ever had that was made and served at the entrance to the dining room. The G&T was garnished with a flamed rosemary sprig and a beautifully peeled piece lime skin. The menu the night we went included an amous bouche, 3 appetizer tastings, 2 entree tastings and a dessert tasting. The chef carefully chooses these offerings as we were told numerous times by Alexander our server. Every course was spot on and complimented the previous course. The price was a bargain for what you receive. I'm from New York City so I may be a little prejudice, but I travel all over the world and I've never received this quality of food and service at such a reasonable price. This dinner would cost three times as much in NYC. The waitstaff is as good as any I've ever experienced. Alexander knew the ingredients in every plate served, and took the time to explain what we were devouring. It is clear that every member of Chef Kiko's team is well trained and looks at their role more as a career and not just a job. Finally, the atmosphere was pleasant, simple and done with excellent taste. It was a perfect evening. Sorry about the length of this review, but I rarely have as many nice things to say about a restaurant as I do about "O Talho".

My friend and I visited O Tahlo for lunch. This chic and cool restaurant is a pleasure to spend time in. Meat is the staple of this restaurant and it comes from the butcher's shop attached to the restaurant. We were served by a great waitress who knew her stuff inside out as well as made sure we felt looked after. We each had the same dishes and, as you would expect, there was a lot of meat involved! To start, we plumped for Portuguese meat croquette with mint and chorizo mayonnaise, "Cevice Puro" with mashed sweet potato, seaweed and tiger milk and the Mexican foie gras with avocado, corn tortilla and tomato leaf. This was a great combination, and all went perfectly together. The main courses to choose from made it a difficult decision. We selected three and these were the O Talho's beef tartare with horseradish mousse, chips and shot of vodka, the Korean top blade with rice & soya ball, sauteed vegetables and kimchi and a Tandoori lamb with chutney, naan bread and lentils. Great from the first mouthful to the last. The fact that the chef was able to produce high quality food from around the world shows a certain skill. For dessert, the black chocolate cream with hazelnuts, mango, passion fruit and pineapple in textures was a great way to finish the meal. It rounded it all off and we left completely satisfied. The combination of flavours was finely balanced and tasted wonderful. Try it if you are nearby and you won't be disappointed.

This was one of my wife and me's favorite dinner spots during our vacation. The staff was very polite and attentive to us the entire time. I would recommend you make reservations.

This was our first official meal in Lisbon, a reservation for 9:45 pm dinner on a Wednesday, and it was a great introduction to Portuguese food. The street at the entrance was empty and quiet, and there weren't many people inside, presumably because it was late. Service was excellent, they were very nice, told us to take our time despite our late reservation. Pumpkin soup was the appetizer, and it was delicious. Creamy and hearty but somehow not heavy, with some tomato and meaty flavor that went well with the sweet pumpkin. Comes with some seeds and bread that you can dip the soup with. 5/5 Octopus-comes with some green peppers, quinoa, and a tomato paste/puree that gives it a light, slightly sweet, slightly spicy taste that went very well with the octopus. This is a great summer dish. Interestingly the thin end of the octopus was not that crispy, maybe that was the intention, but the entire tentacle taste and texture was pretty homogenized. 4.5/5 Risotto- also has pumpkin, but more savory with cheese and butter, topped with leek and I belive has mushrooms. Not sure how they're getting away with using heavy ingredients coming together to become a light dish, but they're pulling it off perfectly. Price was also very reasonable. We did get asked about tip, which not all restaurants in Lisbon do, but we felt tip was deserving at this establishment.

Best I've ever had and served it in a creative way. Service was attentive and polite and generous. I wanted to eat there every night but as a tourist I simply couldn't repeat. I wanted to return. I hope they succeed they are special.

The food across the board was excellent--every dish we tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and felt thoughtfully put together. You can tell there's real intention behind both the menu and execution. What really elevated the experience, though, was our waiter, Bernardo. He brought incredible energy to the table--full of personality, engaging, and genuinely fun to interact with. At the same time, his service was top-notch: attentive without being overbearing, helpful with recommendations, and clearly passionate about what he does. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with service like that, it turns into a memorable experience. Highly recommend--and if you get Bernardo, you're in for a great time.

I had read in Yelp that lines could be long, but we arrived early. They have a little red rope at the door where they explain the rules. The interior is kind of eclectic. They have wines at three price points, we got a really nice bottle of red called Pops reserve. For the tapas, we ordered the assorted cheeses, octopus risotto, duck breast with chips (not normally on the menu), and ceviche. All were superb. We started with the duck and ceviche. The duck was braised perfectly and seasoned well, wonderful. Then the ceviche had swordfish and tuna. I am not normally a sword fan, but this was very tasty. Next up were the cheese and risotto. The risotto was incredible, buttery and delicious. The cheese plate had 5 cheeses of different intensity. All were great, particularly the goat ones. It came with a pumpkin jam which I had never had before, but was very good. I definitely recommend this place
