My son purchased a battery from this location which included free installation. Less than a month later he found himself out of town, on a Sunday, with a dead battery. With no automotive place open, he called for road side assistance. As it turned out, the battery had not been installed properly. It had only been finger tightened, which over a few weeks jiggled loose, causing the connection to be lost which resulted in several of hours of his time and an $85 service fee. I spoke with both the store manager, as well as the district manager, both of whom refused to cover the $85 charge my son incurred due to their faulty installation, claiming it was free to begin with. My point is if you offer a service, then do it right. If you have incompetent people working for you and you aren't going to do the job correctly, then don't offer the service at all. And if they screw up....make good on it. As a business owner, I always make a point to do the "right" thing by my clients...regardless. Apparently this company isn't of the same opinion. read more
