I wanted to Yelp about my visit to this auto parts store because it was the most unique experience…read moreI've had at any auto parts store. When anyone walks into one of these places they generally have a problem on their hands and are trying to fix something, or that's the only reason that's ever taken me into an auto parts store. Anyways this time stood out a more than any experience at any store in my life. I'm not going to go into the details of the problem but I'm going to tell you that right when I ran into a gentleman by the name of Mario the first thing he said is okay follow me we are going to figure this out. It was that last part "we are going to figure this out". For the first time I felt so comfortable because now I had Mario on my team and we were going to fix my problem and figure it out. Mario and I sat there in and trouble shot the problem, trying bolt after bolt. His sole focus was on me, getting that brake caliper back on and fixing my problem. He even lent me the tools to complete the repair. All I can say is it was hands down by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had at ANY store that I went to go and fix something. I asked to speak to his manager, Brian (which was very pleasant as well) and Brian gave me a response of, I hear it all the time about Mario. Thank you Mario for having my back and fixing that problem with me. You really made my ride safer on the way home and earned a customer for life.

I've only gotten tires patched or new tires here but every time they have been great, pretty fast,…read morethey are friendly, and their prices are reasonable. I always come here especially if I need a quick tire fix UPDATE AUG 2022: took my vehicle to the dealer for routine maintenance my dealership pointed out the NEW tire I got from this place 3 weeks ago is the wrong size so I went back here and they said it'll be $10. I asked why didn't they just put the right size on to begin with and the man said i probably had the wrong size when I came at first, which is a lie because I had the same tires since I got the vehicle and the dealer would've told me the other times I went for routine maintenance that a tire size was wrong as they did today. I won't go here for anything besides a tire patch anymore until I find a place more reputable and honest. Just admit to the mistake and should've just swapped the wrong size tire y'all put on there to the right one with no extra charge since it was a mistake of the shop. Everyone makes mistakes just own up to it.

I love working on cars. Do I know how to work on cars? Absolutely effing not. But I've watched…read moreenough people do it over the years to occasionally look at my vehicle and think, I could effing do that. This week I decided I'm apparently a Woman Who Maintains Her Own Vehicle™. Fluids, filters, oil change, windshield wipers...the works. The staff here were incredibly helpful double-checking all the parts I'd researched and making sure I wasn't confidently purchasing the wrong stuff. Then came the windshield wipers. After watching videos, reading instructions, and spending an embarrassing amount of time fighting with one stupid blade, I had a blanket draped across my windshield because the internet convinced me I was one wrong move away from shattering the glass. Something snapped off. The "depression tab" wasn't depressing. Neither was I.... yet. Finally, I gave up and came back for help. The woman working came outside with me. I handed her my protective windshield blanket. She looked at me like I'd handed her a live raccoon. "You don't need that." Turns out, THERE WAS NO DEPRESSION TAB. It was a slide-down mechanism. Five seconds. She replaced both blades in FIVE SECONDS. I had spent hours researching, struggling, questioning my intelligence, and reconsidering vehicle ownership entirely. She handled it like she was brushing a crumb off the counter. She even told me to come back if I had questions. Ma'am. You should not have said that. You're around the corner, I have projects planned, and next up is my own oil change. So there is an excellent chance I'll be back holding a mysterious bolt asking, "Is this important?" Phenomenal service. Thank you, Queen.

Edited 49 minutes ago I had been giving this store high…read moreratings because some of the employees have been very helpful but they recently sold me $45 can of refrigerant + stop leak that had already been partially used. When I tried to return it because it turned out I do not need it since I found the leak they accused me of using it and trying to return it. I spend hundreds of dollars at this store but not now. I will also be writing to their corporate office and letting them know this location is selling partially used cans of refrigerant.

I wasn't planning on writing a review for this business but I got to thinking about this one…read moreemployee that works here at this Batteries Plus Bulbs. Originally it was called Batteries Plus, and a while back it changed its name. The only reason I bring up this particular employee is he has been working here for a long time. I don't know his name and have never asked for his name either. I will give you on example of what I noticed today and it caught my attention. Now mind you I had to replace a battery of a vintage watch from the 50's or 60's. I handed over the battery to the employee at the counter. He looks at the battery and was unsure of the particular battery that was in stock, so he asked his colleague behind the other counter, if they carried this one particular battery. So without looking he shouts out the number of the battery that replaces it without having to see the battery. Now why do I mention this? To be honest I was impressed with this employee's knowledge of their products. I know this sounds silly to notice something that is trivial to others but to me it makes a big difference. I come here only because if I try and look for what I need at a drugstore chances are they won't have it and it's always a hit and miss at the drugstores. So I may pay a little bit more here, they have always had what I need. What I am trying to relay here is that during these troubling times of finding good employees it is always a breath of fresh air to see someone care about their job and know their job as well as the unknown name person behind the hidden counter. Doesn't hurt to once in a while appreciate people for what they do. Nothing is trivial when noticing a good work employee.
