Great customer service. The store manager personally took my question. He showed me that another…read morerepair supply was wrong. I'm kinda handicapped and have to use a mobility scooter. He showed that my battery charger was in great shape.

I wasn't planning on writing a review for this business but I got to thinking about this one…read moreemployee that works here at this Batteries Plus Bulbs. Originally it was called Batteries Plus, and a while back it changed its name. The only reason I bring up this particular employee is he has been working here for a long time. I don't know his name and have never asked for his name either. I will give you on example of what I noticed today and it caught my attention. Now mind you I had to replace a battery of a vintage watch from the 50's or 60's. I handed over the battery to the employee at the counter. He looks at the battery and was unsure of the particular battery that was in stock, so he asked his colleague behind the other counter, if they carried this one particular battery. So without looking he shouts out the number of the battery that replaces it without having to see the battery. Now why do I mention this? To be honest I was impressed with this employee's knowledge of their products. I know this sounds silly to notice something that is trivial to others but to me it makes a big difference. I come here only because if I try and look for what I need at a drugstore chances are they won't have it and it's always a hit and miss at the drugstores. So I may pay a little bit more here, they have always had what I need. What I am trying to relay here is that during these troubling times of finding good employees it is always a breath of fresh air to see someone care about their job and know their job as well as the unknown name person behind the hidden counter. Doesn't hurt to once in a while appreciate people for what they do. Nothing is trivial when noticing a good work employee.

I appreciate that they addressed the situation and worked with me toward a resolution. I wanted to update my review because I believe it's important to acknowledge when a company takes the time to correct an issue and make things right. My original experience still reflects what happened at the time, but I'm pleased with how the corporate office handled my concerns afterward.

EXTREME NEGLIGENCE: Incorrect parts, missing components, and a bone-dry engine…read more DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR VEHICLE. I brought my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan to the 5180 W Peoria Ave location (Glendale, AZ) for an oil change and front brake service, and it has turned into an absolute nightmare of negligence and cover-ups. Here is the exact timeline of how this shop risked destroying my engine: The First Error: Immediately after pickup, the check engine light came on. The staff cleared the code, but on the drive home, my oil light began flashing at every stop. The Attempted Upsell: When I brought it back, they tried to charge me $450 to replace an "oil sensor." The Proof of Negligence: I took the car for a second opinion. It was discovered that this shop had installed the wrong oil filter, and the pressure check valve and center shaft were completely missing from the assembly. The Rushed "Fix": Confronted with this evidence, the shop agreed to replace the oil housing for free. A job estimated to take 3 hours was rushed through in just 30 minutes. The Aftermath: Days later, I noticed a massive, steady leak. When I checked the dipstick, there was absolutely zero oil left in my engine. Running an engine bone-dry can completely destroy it. After being towed back to their shop today (July 16, 2026), they are now trying to claim the leak is "transmission fluid" and not related to the oil housing they just rushed to replace. The level of incompetence here is staggering. Not only did they install incorrect parts and leave vital components out of my engine, but they also tried to charge me hundreds of dollars to cover up their own mistake. I am currently demanding a full investigation and an engine safety guarantee. They are refusing to take accountability, I will be contacting their corporate office next! Avoid this shop at all costs unless you want your vehicle ruined.
