I've been a fan of discount tires for a while and I'm often reminded why I use them. The drive through air is awesome for Phoenicians who find their tires constantly needing a little top off and not being able to find a single air station that works or has the gauge on it. This time it was a new problem for me. After buying a used car a few months ago, the tire light came on. I quickly realized that this wasn't going to be easy as the tires were some type of inside mount-the stem is actually on the back of the rim. To top it off, there was a metal cover on the stem that had seized up and wouldn't come off. I was ready to have the tire removed and a new stem or tire out on. Thankfully and happily the manager came out, tried to get it off and ended up coming back with some spray and pliers. He got it off, had the team add air and sent me on my way. It's so rare to have service like this where you don't feel like you're getting scammed. Of course I'll get the next set of tires here when they wear out soon. Now, if discount tire only replaced windshields too, they'd take over the world! read more

Great place for tires, air, and the excellent service warranty. The family are all loyal custoners.

I've been going to this discount tire for years and today left a bad taste in my mouth. I went in for a free rotation, the guy there was nice enough. He walked to my car and scanned the treads of my tires. He said said couldn't do it because it scanned a 1 on one of the front tires. Ok let's get it replaced. He said it all came out to about 300$. I said ok lets do it. It was not until later when all said and done I noticed in the invoice of the text sent to me that he added the "Certificates for refund, replacement" for 41.02 dollars. You SHOULD ALWAYS LET YOU CUSTOMERS KNOW ABOUT THESE OPTIONAL ADDON. This is so dishonest and I will never come back here again. read more

Discount Tire - Reciept - Tires Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. I came in with a damaged tire, and despite having purchased their full replacement warranty (Certificate for Repair/Replacement) when I bought the tires, the staff refused to honor it. Instead of helping, they tried to charge me $567 for a new tire, acting as if I had no coverage at all. I was very frustrated, but then I went to a different Discount Tire location, and they honored my warranty without any issue. They replaced my tire immediately, and I only had to pay a small fee for a new certificate. It is unacceptable that this specific location tried to scam me into paying full price for a service I had already paid for. If you come here, be very careful and double-check your warranty status, or better yet, avoid this branch altogether." read more

Holy moly, what a DAY. Let me start by saying I recently unlocked a new adult achievement: changed my own tire. Yes, that's right. Somewhere along the timeline of my life I apparently decided tires were part of the "men handle that" starter pack, but destiny (and a flat) had other plans. Bravo me. Gold star. Character development complete. After successfully installing my donut like the slightly greased-up, road-battle warrior I was, I rolled into my new local tire sanctuary. Now, understand something, I am a lifelong, ride-or-die fan of Discount. I've been going there for roughly 41 minus 16 years (math is hard, flats are harder). So finding a new "home location" was emotionally significant. I pull in looking like I just wrestled my car on the side of the road (because I absolutely did), and before I can even mentally prepare to interact with civilization, a gentleman comes out to greet me. Sir, you did not have to be that kind to someone who looked like she'd been lightly basted in axle grease, but I appreciate you. They checked my tires and gently broke the news that my tread was basically living on hopes, dreams, and good vibes. I drive what can only be described as a micro machine, which of course means I also have tiny tires, because why make life easy? They didn't have them in stock (totally fair), but somehow still got me safely up and running like absolute magicians. Now, the bonus comedy feature: I drive a manual transmission. Watching the team politely determine who among them possessed the ancient and mystical knowledge of "stick shift operation" was peak entertainment. One brave hero emerged, the same gent who greeted me, successfully piloted my tiny chaos-mobile, and I salute you, Sir Knight of the Clutch. Service was fast, smooth, and honestly impressive. About an hour later, I was back on the road with new tires and restored faith in humanity. I'm genuinely thrilled to have found my new go-to location because I WILL be back soon (I still need two more matching tires, symmetry matters, they tell me). Five stars. Impeccable service. Friendly humans. Tire wizardry. 10/10 would highly recommend, especially if you arrive looking like you just fought your vehicle in a parking lot and won. read more

Great service. Very helpful and friendly. Tires changed quickly! They were busy and still managed to service customers in a timely way.

Had a tire that was going flat. Pulled in 30 minutes before opening time, they opened right on time, and helped everyone efficiently. They let me know what was going on with my tire, gave me a timeframe of when it would be finished and stuck to the plan. Everyone was very courteous, professional, and helpful. There was no upsell just a bunch of hard-working guys. Highly recommend. read more

Everything from the front door to the back of the house stinks! My appointment was at 11:45. It is now 1230 and they lied. They said it would take 21 minutes and this was an appointment that I called in two days ago. I just heard the customer service representative. Tell another customer that called in that it would take him 21 minutes to get serviced their liars be prepared to wait an extra hour. read more

Great location, these staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would come here again.

First time at this location. Friendly staff. I went in for a tire rotation and got my car 10 mins after estimated. No worries, it was busy. Five stars for customer service and entertainment. Blond guy has patience of a saint. The blond kid (worker) kept trying to explain to the Vietnamese guy (customer) that the sensors won't work because the tires had been swapped. He repeated over and over that the sensors were programmed to work with a specific car, and they are not working on the black Lexus since they were programmed for the silver Lexus. LOL, I understood him after the first 5 mins. I'm pretty sure the guy with the heavy vietnamese accent understood him, too, but he was trying to get around it. Viet dude kept rephrasing his question on how to get it to work, but the funny part was that the blond kid kept using the same words/phrases to explain. After about 20 mins, viet dude realized he wasn't gonna win this argument. I was entertained. read more

I had a good experience here. They gave me all the information I needed in order to choose which tires were best for my car. I had tires that were well over needing to be replaced. They did the service effective and efficiently and I was so grateful. The value was moderate and felt like it was a good price for the type of tires I got for all weather. They also let me now that one of my bolts were damaged by one of their techs so they offered for it to be completely covered by a partner shop that was about 17 mins away from them. Had it replaced within the day about 4 hours since the place was packed that day but nevertheless, it was completed. read more

Great business. Quality along with friendly employees are a great combination. Their only downfall is that they are so recommended and good that they are SO BUSY every day but they will get you in! read more

Absolutely stellar experience today. Went in for low tire pressure. Turned out to be a flat. They repaired the tire in no time at all - even faster than they promised. Great, friendly team, overdelivered. Thank you for great service and a great experience. read more

Management has changed since the last time I was here and it's a good thing. I think the prior manager was Sergio...his lack of customer service skills and just plain rudeness made this place an unfriendly place that I just couldn't trust. The only reason I came back is that I called other places and they didn't have the tire I needed within a good timeframe. To my surprise I have had nothing but friendly interactions with the employees here. The environment and culture the prior manager had created is no longer. Thanks for taking care of my tire needs and establishing new trust. As a tip, make an appointment if you can, it does help get you in and out in quickly! read more

All I gotta say is Matthew was the best! He helped my sister and I with getting new tires and informing us on things we had no idea about! He is awesome! Give that man a raise!!! It's refreshing to know there are still personable people out there! Will be back! read more

Stopped in due to getting a nail in a tire. They pointed out that I could use a rotation and I recalled they have a good deal on lifetime wheel balances so I decided to buy it to help make sure I'm taking care of my tires. Quoted it would be about an hour. Came back to pick up the car and the store manager (Mike) was checking us out and asked if we'd ever been to the store before. We hadn't as we just moved into the area. He said since we were new to the area, he was going to give us the wheel balance for free. Amazing experience...customer service is alive and well. We'll be back to our new favorite store! read more

Every single time, discount tire pulls through!!!! The team is absolutely amazing. They do everything they can to help you, affordable prices. Was told that I need a new wheel and tire, looks like just a tire! came back 5 minutes before close, I assumed they couldn't help me but I wanted to ask for prices. They were still able to get my tire switched out at 5:02, they didn't have to, but the fact that they did, Im crying. Car stuff is stressful enough, but they make it so easy. People came in after me for a nail patch, they were willing to still look. Now that's customer service!!!! Jose, Justin, and the team are amazing people & workers. read more

Amazing service if only all customer service experience could be like this. Would highly recommend

Got my tires filled today, Lucas helped us and was amazing! Very kind and helpful, and he was happy to do it even in 100 degree weather.

Amazing service. Honesty and integrity. I can't say enough about this location. Imagine a Tire Shop you can trust.

This discount tire is extremely racist. They found EVERY excuse not to service my car and give me the FREE services I made an appointment for. Talking about my tires are too big and other crap! Tire repair, tire rotation, and balancing is FREE here at discount tire, FYI! If you're Black or BROWN do NOT go here! Not accommodating at all!!! read more

My tire light came on in my car while I'm on the freeway. I went to other tire shops that looked at it but couldn't find an issue. I've always had pretty good service at this location, but be aware that if you do an online order and pre-purchase your tires, they will NOT automatically look at your existing tires and pro-rate them like they do when you come in without having pre-purchased your new tires. I had to have a single tire replaced because the sidewall got damaged by debris in the road. The tire I was replacing was purchased at Discount Tire fairly recently, so it had most of it's tread remaining. Normally when you come in to get a newer tire replaced, they pro-rate the cost based on how much life is left on the tire you are replacing. However, I wanted to make sure they had the correct tire in stock, so I purchased the correct one online through Discount Tire's website and set up an appointment to get it installed. When I went in for my appointment, the manager of the store (who was the person who assisted me) never mentioned anything about pro-rating the current tire. When I asked, he said that when you purchase tires from their online store, they aren't able to see the condition of the current tire to pro-rate. Fair enough, but the car is here now, so maybe do it when the customer shows up rather than just letting them pay full price for a tire that should be pro-rated. Not sure if all the stores have this policy, but this one clearly does, based on the manager's comments. Once I mentioned it he did look at the old tire and pro-rated it, which ended up bringing the cost of the new one down by $130. So if you buy online and are replacing newer tires, make sure you you ask them to pro-rate them when you show up for your appointment. read more

I used to work for DTC 13+ years ago as a SR. And my son currently works as a full time now. Ive always loved Discount tire amd.will after this. Here my issue. Iwas told a 2hr wait which i agreed to wait for, but there is no sense of urgency, no speed, no one trying to get these cars done asap. Not the DTC I worked for back in the day... the Az president back then would say he would see how the store "smells". He didnt mean actual smell, he meant how the store looked, running and profits. This store " smells" avg. read more

I brought my vehicle in due to a slow tire leak. It turns out that they could not fix my tire due to a previous poor tire repair that was done and a small nail in the tire side wall. I could not get the tire repaired and unfortunately had to purchase a new one. My tire was not in stock but Brett was amazing and he ordered a tire that I needed and was able to get it delivered for the next day, and he even accommodated me by getting me in at 8am due to me having to work a twelve hour scheduled shift. He made it possible and handled my situation wonderfully. Thanks read more

I always try to find a discount tire when I need help with tires. I had a nail in the tree and they fixed it. The mark of a good place though is how they take care you when things aren't great. Don't bring your vehicle to this place or any other discount tire!!!! they busted my rack and pinions up and now I'm out almost 3k to fix my minivan (and also however much we paid them for the tires). unbelievable!!! my husbands Jeep was hit by an inattentive driver and now it will need to be totaled. we are now out two vehicles. Not that the Jeep is discounts fault, it just puts more strain on a broke middle class family who is doing everything they can to stay afloat. Pay a little more and take your vehicle somewhere that will take care of it and not leave it worse then when you brought it in. read more
