While he was there I asked if he could also install a small TV mount on a brick wall in my kitchen. He said he could do both jobs and gave me a very reasonable price quote. He came by a few days later and very quickly installed the fan and TV mount. In fact it was so quick and easy that he did it in less time than expected, so he adjusted the price lower for me. Very honest, fair, and high quality work! I will definitely be calling Empowered Electrical Services for any of my future electrical needs.

After calling him, he was responsive in getting me a quote. Although it took about a month until he had availability to do the job, once it came time to do the job, he was professional and very communicative. A joy to work with as a contractor. He also got a permit and did everything by the book and had very reasonable pricing. In my case, I had a 220 line he had to run and a small outside light to install. All in all, I'm very happy with his work. What a RIP OFF , feel like its a very high price for such a small job... Id encourage any one to shop around, get prices first,, hire a home handyman or even DYI . If that's a fair price, Im a Chef and would charge him $60 labor to cook his $40 steak. I have more work to be done, I can say I won't be calling Heim for the work. When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40* in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!

Mike from Twin City Electrical came out to check out the fire hazard of a breaker box in the house…read morethat my partner and I just bought. That box was an absolute mess and needed to be replaced ASAP. Our home inspector took one look at it and laughed, saying that he couldn't believe that the house was still standing. Needless to say, that was a major priority in terms of renovation order of operations! Mike was very matter of fact when he came out to look at what we had. He explained what needed to be done with the box itself, as well as with the space around the box in order to meet Tonawanda codes. I'll be honest, when he first quoted a price, I felt like it was a bit high. But I'm not afraid of telling someone when I think the price is high and I appreciated that Mike was willing to work with me. After a little discussion we ended up at a price that I felt fit our budget. When it was time to actually complete the job, Mike came out with two of his crew members and made sure that everyone was on the same page about what was getting done. He then left his two assistants to finish the box and run a new line up the side of the house. I can't say enough good things about the guys he had helping him. They were friendly, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. (My husband knows a bit about electrical work but in Tonawanda you need to be licensed. His familiarity though was enough to be certain at least that the work was done well.) I'm definitely someone who likes to compare before I commit to any expenditure, so definitely call around compare pricing for your job. But I was extremely happy with the quality of the work and with the level of professionalism, so in your comparison shopping I would recommend including Twin City Electrical.

I did, over and over... on the third try, I spoke with a person in charge who complained about the warranty company, said he wasn't contacted by them and proceeded to pass the buck of why there had been no call to me. I simply mentioned that even if the warranty company hadn't contacted them, that I had and my calls were not returned - so strike off one star. Next, when the work needed was assessed, the warranty company agreed to pay $159 to replace my ceiling fan and the hourly charges to install it, materials charges for outlets and switches and all the repairs and time that Deltex quoted them. The fan that Deltex provided was retail priced at $59, looks cheap and has different lighting capabilities. When the technician called about it the attitude seemed to be that the warranty company didn't give them enough money to do the job properly... but Deltex gave the quote - strike 2 and 3 The only bright spot was the technician himself, very professional and personable. So the two stars are really for Mike doing a good job, but I would not prefer to work with this company ever again! I don't recommend.

They were on time, completed the work in one day and charged a price that was very reasonable and realistic.
