We got off to a bit of bumpy start, but it all worked out. Taylor took photos, explained our…read moreoptions and we accepted the bid. The work turned out to be less than Taylor expected and so he lowered his price. The work turned out great and we now have two water-proof chimneys. We have an old zero clearance fireplace which Taylor thought was unfixable, but after putting a camera down the chimney and looking at the firebox he felt we could fix it by replacing the firebox panels. We will have him do that work as well. Taylor is very conscientious and great to work with I would not hesitate to hire him again.

We rent a duplex that has a wood-burning fireplace that we've used consistently for years, having…read morehad it cleaned once. We figured it was time to get it looked at, so we called Taylor at Cascade Chimney and Masonry. Had no trouble making an appointment and he came and looked at the chimney and fireplace and said, basically, "yep, everything's good. You don't need it cleaned." He was apparently (I wasn't there, this is hearsay) very nice and when asked how much we owed him for the service stop he said we didn't owe him anything. So, my recommendation is that you call this guy and have him service your chimney and you will know that if he's doing the work, you really need it. We did give him a bottle of soda that we'd been keeping for a special occasion, so maybe have a bottle of soda handy if your chimney turns out to be just fine.

Insulation Co gave me the best price out of all. The owner, Jo, was very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He was always willing to jump on the phone to answer any questions, which I appreciated a lot. My house was built prior to 1989 so I received a nice PSE rebate for the work. On the day of, Jo's crew were quick and efficient and provided Before and After photos. They removed my old vapor barrier and insulation and replaced with new one, added new dryer vent duct and flapper, and added new roof vents for all my bathroom fans, and much more. I was able to ask them questions during and provided water and snacks to them for their hard work. The crew respected my home and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. After the work was completed, I thanked Jo for making this all possible and being easy to work with. We went over some of the After pictures together over the phone to help me learn about everything and ask additional questions. They even sent a crewmember to come back for a 2-week follow-up on the work to make sure everything still looks good. I would recommend Jo and the team at Insulation Co to my friends and family for attic and crawlspace cleanout services again.

Fair pricing. Almost half the price of competitors that use sales representatives and fancy apps…read more Told them what I wanted and got a price without having them come out. Was quick to clear out and replace insulation and fabric in my crawlspace over just a couple of days.
