In addition we had a new sprinkler system installed and added trees and plants. JNK/ Naji specifically was phenomenal in communication - extremely rare in this line of work. Naji was always very responsive and with a positive attitude. His staff showed up on time, respectful and took pride in their work. We are VERY happy with the results. We now have the outdoor living room and space we wanted. They were not the cheapest but we were willing to pay a little extra to ensure the schedule was adhered to and the quality and warranty. Not chasing someone down for the next step is the project and having this substantially completed in under 2 weeks is amazing. Definitely recommend JNK.

I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. Toward the end, had to wait for the pergola parts to arrive. About three weeks to complete entire job.

After calling and setting up an appointment, David Newland came out the next day with a detailed folder that included both packages. I confirmed that I wanted the $34,750 option, and asked him to send me a quote based on that package after measuring my backyard. I understood there would be some additional costs, such as excavation and fees for limited access through a standard residential gate that 99% of homes have which roughly adds 1-2k max. However, the final quote came in at $47,000--far exceeding the advertised package price. In my view, this felt like false advertising and was a major waste of time. I strongly encourage others to be cautious and do their research before committing. My experience was disappointing.be prepared to see a quotes 8-12k more than their advertised numbers .i do have photos of advertised pricing .

We hired Tranquil Oasis Landscapes for a complete backyard renovation and replacement of our…read moreirrigation system, and we're extremely happy with how everything turned out. What stood out the most throughout the project was Nick's attention to detail and the continued pride he takes in his work after more than 20 years of experience. At one point, the pavers that were delivered didn't meet his standards, so he had the entire shipment returned rather than installing subpar materials. That told me a lot about the kind of company he runs. The quality of the finished product speaks for itself. The pavers have clean, straight lines, our garden area was laid out perfectly, and the artificial turf looks great (our dogs have already put it to the test and it has held up wonderfully). Nick was easy to work with from beginning to end. He listened to what we wanted, was honest throughout the process, and also suggested improvements we hadn't thought about, including solving our drainage issues and running low-voltage wiring around the backyard so we'll be able to add landscape lighting later without tearing anything up. His crew was professional and skilled as well. Our project wasn't the biggest one they'll ever do, but after this experience I'd have no hesitation hiring Tranquil Oasis Landscapes again or recommending them to friends and family. One neighbor already plans to use them after touring our backyard, speaks for itself!

It all started…read morewith the backyard where they add pavers to extend the patio, realigned a paver pathway, added plants and trees, added both turf and a small area of real grass (for our dogs), updated irrigation, removed gravel and added river rock. I was so pleased with the work that I contracted them to do my front yard and side yards as well. For the front yard, Nick the owner, provided a scale drawing of the new layout following our conversations about what I was looking for. After HOA approval, they transformed my mainly gravel front yard into a beautiful park-like environment with turf, new plants, new lights, new irrigation, new pavers. It's beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Finally, I asked them to update my side yard. It was originally an ugly, unused gravel area with weeds. After collaborating with Nick, he came up with a beautiful design that once again transformed a small space. They added grass (for the dogs), irrigation, pavers, river rock, a new hose bib, lighting, bottle brush trees that will eventually provide nice shade for this east facing area (but won't overwhelm the space), and they assembled several vego planters (for which I haven't quite decided what I want planted there) Nick, along with his foreman Guillermo and the rest of the team, are professional, responsible, responsive, creative, collaborative, easy to work with, and create beautiful spaces. I kept adding to the projects and they took every request in stride. I couldn't be more happy with the transformation they completed at my home and recommend them without hesitation. They have even more capabilities including building outdoor kitchens, fireplaces/firepits, ponds, etc. When the time comes for the next addition to my yard, I will be reaching out to them!!!

This being said we are very satisfied with the team at Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling. We have a 13 year old pool that started to show signs of chipping. Working with Meise Design Group was the best experience!…read more We went under contract in April 2024 to build a home here in Arizona while we were living in Virginia. As we got closer to the completion date (January 2025), we began our search for landscaping professionals. MDG was recommended to us from an architect we've been following on Instagram for several years. Between that recommendation, MDG's own Instagram portfolio, and their online reviews, we thought this might be a fit. We initially worked with Andrew, who was super accommodating - first working with us over email and Zoom, then meeting us at the homesite in person when we flew out here for progress checks. He was great working with two people who have never had any outdoor space (former apartment/condo/townhouse people) and were mostly clueless about what we wanted other than some Pinterest inspo photos. And he was also just so perfect for us specifically - he is a former east coaster himself and a dog-person - so he knew to explain things we wouldn't know (e.g. window reflections can melt turf in this Arizona heat) and how to prioritize our dogs' needs (e.g. our pool has a ledge so if a pup falls in, they're not far from safety). There was never any pressure - to go a certain direction, to exceed our budget, or to hurry up with decisions. Andrew was always prepared to talk in detail about options, tradeoffs, and pros/cons - and to let us see how those different things would look using his design software. We eventually landed on a design that we loved, that met our HOA requirements, and that met state and local requirements - all of which MDG took care of (e.g. HOA application info, county permits, etc.). Eddie and the teams on our property to complete the work were great. Everyone was kind, everything was kept as tidy as possible throughout the work; someone even came over on their day off because of a big rain storm - just to make sure everything was put away. Our project wrapped on time, on budget, and on expectations. We had a super informative final walkthrough - letting us know how to work everything, when to maintenance things, etc. And then we've heard from the team a few times since - just checking in on us. Our backyard is our sacred space - we LOVE it. All our guests love it. We've caught neighbors taking photos as inspo for their own yards. It's very simple because it prioritizes our view and our pups, but we've seen much more elaborate work MDG has done - so whatever your project, we would highly recommend MDG!

After interviewing three companies, we chose Meise Design Group for our backyard raise and rebuild. We couldn't be happier with the process and finished results. It was a smooth process working with Andrew, Eddie, and the entire Meise crew. Andrew was very attentive to our questions and concerns. He got us involved in all of the decision making by asking us questions and laying out all options over and over again, so we could come to a solution that was suitable for us. Andrew was always available for us throughout our project. At times I would text him as early as 6:00AM and he would respond right away. Their quality of work is undeniable. They pay attention to every detail, as you can see in the attached photos. I felt there pricing was fair. We had a few cost overruns but this was because we wanted a few upgrades- Not because he changed cost midway thru the project. Our project was finished on time and we were so impressed we asked them to gut and redo our front yard as well! MDG gets nothing less than a 5.0 rating and I highly recommend using them on your landscape projects.
