The girl did a horrible job I had her remove the polish it was so sloppy and see through. I wanted to just leave as she obviously didn't have good eye sight. She then told me I was wrong for twenty minutes rather than politely fixing them. Now that I'm home without polish I can see how much dirt she left under my nails and the uneven shape and they are all sharp. She didn't file at all. Just clipped and painted. Worst experience

I looked at my feet today & said "dang I need a MAN PEDI ASAP". It just so happen that NuTrends Nails & Spa is right next to the hotel I checked in at. So I went & they gave me an appointment for 3 PM because they were busy & they were practicing social distancing. 3 PM & I returned for my appointment. As I get looks because I'm a man that's walking in to get a pedi without a girl in tow...I bravely sat on the chair and showed my dawgs.....lol. The lady made sure that I was comfy & the water had the perfect temp. I chose the $50 pedi because I wanted the full treatment & they didn't disappoint! The lady manicurist was really good. I didn't feel any pain as she surgically removed whatever those things are called on my feet. She scraped & grinded my feet without skipping a beat. She massaged my legs back to working order & whatever cream/lotion she used really brought my leg skin back to life. I really like this place & I recommend it! 5 stars

This was my first time going to this place and I will absolutely be back! Jenny did an amazing job on my nails, the ambiance is nice, and the prices are great. The management and staff was also super nice and accommodating.

Went here a week before leaving for Cancun. Service was good, and everyone was kind. I did get a pedicure and it wasn't the best I've ever gotten, the lady clipped my toe and i was bleeding a bit, but that wasn't a big issue for me and i didn't say anything. The main concern is my full set I received. The day I was leaving, which was a week after going to the salon, my ring nail popped off my right hand and I had to super glue it back on. During the trip, all of my nails on the right side came off, and two on my left, less than two weeks after getting my nails done. I understand normal wear and tear, but a set is supposed to last at minimum 2 weeks. Really disappointed, as I really liked this set and was really excited about how they looked. Edit: I'm actually incredibly offended by the response this company provided, which is why I'm lowering my review to one star. I have never had my nails last less than a week prior to coming to this salon. That's with years between appointments. Just acknowledge something didn't go right and own the responsibility that the nails weren't ok? Don't blame it on me? I genuinely went to your salon hoping to find a new regular salon, and now I will not hesitate to defer from you guys. Good luck

I was the only customer there were two people working I got a man who started giving me my pedicure handed me a menu everything was fine until I said I was just going to get the $25 pedicure today and then it was just Wham! Bam thank you ma'am no basecoat no topcoat He didn't even clip down the nails that are broken and too long... we had just come off a camping trip

I called last minute for a same day appointment (within a 20 minute timeframe) and I was able to get in since someone had canceled/ not show up. I told her what I wanted. Natural looking oval shaped acrylics. I will give this salon credit they have a lot of deep neutral gel colors to match my skin tone. But besides that the whole experience was uncomfortable. The young lady jennie immediately, began placing the nails on my hands like she was in a some sort of rush. And actually placed a few of them on crooked. Which I get the sense of urgency, but it made me feel very unsettled. Like I understand we all need the money but if you wanted my money than I at least expected decent quality, if you may have other appointments then it's in both of our best interest to schedule me at a time that fits both schedules accordingly. During my time sitting in jennie's chair, the business phone kept ringing like every 5-10 mins. And she would answer, and honestly I think that's what made her so flustered while doing my nails. I couldn't hear the caller but it seems although the people calling kept canceling their appointments. One right after another, she would ask if they'd want to reschedule and it didn't seem like that made plans to. And that right there should have been my que to be like 'ok, I'ma head out'. But I stayed and I wish I had gone with that instinct. The nails were too long! Every time I'd say I wanted the nails shorter jennie micro aggressively clipped just a little more off and forcefully flipped my hand back around towards me to judge if that's the length she wanted me to have. Making it seem like it was upsetting her to even have short acrylics. Long nails aren't my thing. But that's not any of her concern when the money is coming out of my wallet. I wasn't digging that aggressive energy either. She didn't have to say it, anger and aggression was all over her non verbals. About an hour after I left this salon I was calling around to other salons to get those long ass nails filed down. I don't have any pics because after I left here I was running errands. And quite frankly I was ashamed. I didn't feel enough pride to want to show off those nails. I will not be returning, regardless of last minute availability or polish color variety P.S. Who on earth takes a nail file the tips of gel nails After they have been set, as a finished touch? Seems like a skeem or just plain negligence. Never again.

Brought my grandma here when I was in AZ and we had a lovely time! This spa was so clean and the Covid protocols they were taking made us feel safe. I tried dip powder nails for the first time and they came out lovely! I truly felt like they took their time and care with both of us. Can't wait to go back when I visit again!

First time I went here it was great! This time not so much. I asked the girl to make them shorter and they are way shorter than they should be. They are not filed down on the top and are very wide in width. They look stubby and too small for paying $65 the French tips are uneven. My art is good though, I am just upset I planned on having these for Christmas, new years and my one year anniversary and I hate them. I also just called the next day, it's $25 to fix them. I understand the work is a profit. And I don't want a new set just a color fix and reshaping. But i already paid a good amount and it doesn't seem right that they want to charge a significantly higher amount to fix something that upsets me. I loved this place because they were affordable for tempe but this makes me want to go somewhere that I'd pay $80 for anyway and know that they will all be even (shape size and design) when I leave.

IM OBSESSED! My favorite nail shop. They are truly the best. They take their time, affordable, and actually honor appointments. When you book a time with them it's minimal wait if any at all. Will always be going here

This is their third week open, so I understand it won't be perfect. I stopped in around 450 and let them know I wanted a manicure. I sat and one of the technicians asked me to pick my color and sign in on their iPad. I was seated around 5 to soak my nails and my manicure began 10 minutes later, and it was done by 530. The whole thing felt rushed, there were only two employees and a few people walked in after me so they were going back and forth between clients. My manicure was okay, can tell it's chipping already and the square shape is uneven. My manicurist did thank me several times for waiting and shared that they were understaffed. Location is convenient which is nice and I'm sure the service would be better with more staff.

Brand new salon that is super clean and looks very bright and welcoming. The staff are really friendly! Jimmy did my nails and really took the time to make sure everything was done right. I had old dip taken off and a new color put on. I would have gotten my brows waxed too, but apparently the lady who does waxing was not in today. There were only 4 staff members when I came in, but things moved pretty quickly considering. I did wait, but it wasn't anything too long and Jennie the owner let me sit in a pedicure chair while I waited and gave me bottled water. Also for a new place, they seem to get a lot of customers already. I am not sure if there was a salon in the same place before. Overall, I really love my new nails and I'll be back again! Everyone is so friendly and they look after you nicely.

Longest wait ever!!! Went here for an appointment at 3 and I called in advance to confirm. I ok with a few mins wait. She literally had me waiting 45 mins longer before taking another person back. So I asked if I can go grab some starbucks (next door) because it was still going to be a while before I even sat in pedi chair. She rudely said only if it will be a few mins, so I told her I've been waiting. I wish they would have been honest and told me I would have to wait an hour. Last time they had me wait an hour and half. This place might be good but I will never go back.

Where can I begin? I love this salon and I truly miss it. I've recently moved and I am on a mission to find a similar nail salon, unfortunately that still has yet to happen. This salon is best if you make an appointment. There are only two techs, Jenny and Kevin. I'm sure they take walk-ins only if they have an opening, but they truly honor your appointment. I feel like nail salons have gone wild with their pricing, but I'll say the prices are fairly just for the work done here. I feel many salons try to work quickly and herd you out. I like that they take their time in providing good service. I'm a fairly simple girl, I like a good, long-lasting dip manicure. Every time I've gotten one, I have been able to keep it up to a month. It will lose it's luster and grow out, but it will not break or chip. I like that with the SNS they will clean up around my cuticles. I can't remember if its included in the price or if its extra. I've noticed that many salons typically keep the nails dry with a dip mani and use the drill to "clean up," which is not the same in my opinion. I work with my hands, so these nails are put to the test. I also really enjoy the pedicures, I've only gotten a basic gel pedi and they have lasted quite a while. I do like that you get a nice little percentage off on your birthday and that they do a punch card system. I do believe its a punch per visit, and not service so do with that what you will. I also feel like they are just as attentive to their new customers as they are with their regulars. I've hated feeling like a bystander at salons where the favoritism toward their regulars is very loud. Personally, I enjoy the quietness to the salon. It won't be crowded because of how they take appointments, mostly. I do not enjoy a very busy, or loud salon as it can be very overwhelming for me. read more

This place was amazing, when I walked in they offered me water, they made me feel as if I was a VIP customer, the place was impeccably clean, they were both very nice and I loved how my nails came out. This is my new go to spot, the prices were very affordable as well nothing beats this place Update: I Came back almost a year later since I haven't had a pedicure in that long, and they still had my punch card waiting for me at the counter that I had left here and remembered my name!!! They also asked about my baby since I used to bring him with me all the time. This is hands down the best spa ever, once you start coming here I'm sure you'll be as loyal as me.. I'm not the type to leave reviews but this place always makes me want to leave a 10 star each time. Also the owners are very involved and humble, I always see them doing manicures and pedicures despite being the owners. Genuinely great people read more

I'm so glad I decided to stop in here! Very clean place, super nice staff, and great service!!! They even fixed my polish when I didn't like it. I got a gel manicure and it turned out beautiful. I picked a sparkly red, but for some reason it wasn't looking like it did on display. The sparkles didn't have enough color if that makes sense. She could tell that I wasn't very happy with it, and she removed it and offered to experiment to try and fix it! She didn't even make me pick another color because she knew I wanted the sparkly red to badly. So they took a red polish, put that under, and then 2 coats of the sparkles. I love love how they turned out! And they even offered me a cold water! They also have a punch card which is a plus. I will definitely be back! Thank you!!! read more

Found this salon on google it's right down the street from my house. I called 10 mins before i got there because I wanted to make sure they had time for me. They are right down the street from my house which is super convenient for me. When I arrived the lady I spoke to on the phone remembered my name, which of course makes me feel special. When I walked in I immediately commented on how beautiful the place was! They told me they just opened. My pedicure came out beautifully!! I am very picky about my nails, so I'm happy they did such a great job. They also have a huge variety of gel nail polishes which is awesome! They are fairly priced as well I think I got the delux pedi with gel polish and it was only $50! I will most definitely be going back! I can't wait to see them gain popularity and start to get busy! This place is so clean and high quality. I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about.. but I'm glad to say we experienced the complete opposite! My family and I enjoyed pedicures and SNS manicures here on Sunday and left very happy. Even though they were down 1 person, and it took a little longer - still 5 stars bc we appreciate the owner's open communication about this 1 off situation and we enjoyed the customer service/ quality of care this nail salon takes to ensure you're happy every step of the way. read more

I'm always hesitant with trying new salons but I'm so glad I gave NuTrends a try. I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I instantly felt my anxiety lift away. I was seated immediately in a comfy seat and we went over how I wanted my nails done. Tons and tons of gel polishes to choose from! Jenny was very meticulous and LISTENED to me. She did a beautiful job on my nails. Exactly what I wanted! I also got a pedicure and I swear those are the most comfortable chairs I have ever been in. Very very relaxing! I will definitely be back! This is by far the best nail salon I have been to since I lived in Arizona! I've been going here for about 2 years and have never had a bad experience. I love that they let you know the prices on everything before they begin and the prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the quality you receive. Arguably the best customer service I've ever experienced at a nail salon! NuTrends fit me in for a last-minute appointment today and I couldn't have happier with the work they did. They are efficient and they really care to make sure you like your nails. They have endless color options and they provide a peaceful, stress-free atmosphere. I called ahead for a gel manicure and asked about nail designs for all 10 nails. Upon arriving, it was obvious that they were severely understaffed. I was sat over 30 min late and also needed a gel removal so I was worried about time. When I showed the nail tech the design I wanted, they let me know that it wasn't possible. No problem, I asked about a much more simple design and they agreed and we went from there. I will say that they were amicable and kind and kept a good attitude throughout it all but 30 min into my slot the 2pm clients walked in and were frustrated about also having to wait so from there my manicure became super rushed. No cuticle treatment, no massage, haphazard buffing. I gave feedback on the design part way through, when it was totally possible to change or shift things / before the nails had set, and they told me that it wasn't possible to make changes even though I was unhappy. They wrapped up and I was rushed out. I realized as I got into the car that my nails hadnt been shaped straight. They were all going to the sides. I give 3 stars because I feel badly for the staff and being crunched for time and wish it had been handled differently. Realistically, the manicure itself is one of the worst I've ever received. My cuticles look like they did when I came in, the whole thing is half-hearted. I am disappointed and won't be going back. read more

As I walked in, I was promptly greeted and offered some Bottled water. The place is incredibly clean. They have those individual packs of nail Supplies so you know they've not been recycled/used on someone else. They gave thorough attention to my nails and took the time to trim and paint my nails properly (they were in rough shape!). The owners value quality service and good customer service! read more

My nails fell off within a week! I was not satisfied and they said that it had to do with my nail bed when I get my nails done all the time. Was not willing to work with me far as costs and said I had to pay to get them fixed. I was new and they never let me know that there was a 3 day period to get them fixed. My nails lasted literally 5 days. Not happy. read more

I am so excited and happy this salon has opened up in my area! I've been going from salon to salon trying to find somewhere that consistently does a good job and it's very hard to find. Kevin did my gel fill and I could easily tell how much pride he takes in his work. He did an amazing job and continued to ask questions at every step of the way to make sure everything was looking how I wanted it to. The quality and price are great and Jenny and Kevin are extremely welcoming and sweet. I think I have finally found the place I can continue coming back to, knowing they will always do a great job. (TW: Real nail ripped off) I've been getting my acrylic nails done here for several months now, the past 2-3 times i went i did not feel i was getting my money's worth considering i had 1-2 nails fall off within the first week of having them done. I don't work with any water or anything that could remotely affect my nails coming off. My last visit was 4 days ago and my middle finger nail ripped off today along with over HALF of my REAL nail with it (pictured). My nail tech was aware this nail had fallen off prior and that i had glued it back on as i had let her know 3x, and she glued it as well before filling my nails. The nail obviously should've been taken off and i now wish that i had insisted it had been, but i know now! I understand they are just trying to make money and want to get in as many people as possible but she is always always so rushed when doing my nails. It's really unfortunate because now i can't get my nails done for months while i wait for it to grow back, i will not be coming back UPDATE after their response: This place is an absolute joke. She is so disrespectful and takes NO accountability. She tries to blame the customer in EVERY bad review on here and talks about herself in 3rd person. I couldn't imagine talking to a customer this way. I won't waste my breathe arguing about the blatant lies she tried to make up as an excuse for what she did. Its so unprofessional, i've truly never seen anything like it. This business should not be running and i doubt it lasts long at all with this "customer service". read more

Love this place! It's our second time here. They use a quality top coat, so my pedicure lasts much longer than other places (shiny too)! My boyfriend got the callous treatment and loved it! So much dead skin came off. We will come back! read more

EDIT: Nails popping off easily is due to a bad technician or product. If you actually believed in your products you wouldn't have tried charging me so much to fix it because you know that a good acrylic set should last 2 weeks and they started coming off after 5-6 days. My acrylic nails were lifting and just started falling off five days after I got them so I came in and had them take it off. They told me they only guarantee 3 days afterwards. They wouldn't even put polish on unless they charged the full price. Doesn't matter what, you only have three days to get them fixed. So if you want to spend 60 dollars on a weeks worth of nails. Go for it. read more

My mother and I went here for pedicures. The staff were extremely professional, nice, and conscientious. My mom broke her foot a few years ago and is very skittish about having people mess with her feet. They took time to make sure she was ok with everything they were doing and she left very happy. Everything about my pedicure was also top notch. The environment in the salon is really nice and attractive, and exceptionally clean. This will be my go-to place now. Therefore, I researched the waxers on staff and saw that Alicia had gotten outstanding reviews, and specifically concerning my needs, and I have been going to her ever since. Alicia does so well, I recommended my best friend to go to her, since his girlfriend likes his face completely smooth, but, his beard grows in like mine, and her tips from each of us far exceed the paltry percentage she gets per customer from EWC. European Wax offers year long passes, where customers can go as often as necessary, and I since I need to go every two weeks to minimize the how much hair is being pulled at one time, I started getting those, since it would save a lot of money. I have five months left before the current year is up. My best friend also bought a year pass, after experiencing Alicia's skills and the lasting results. In the time I have been going to this location, the store has gone through SEVEN managers, with the latest one being Courtney, who has been there a month and a half. And now, Alicia is fired. Funny how the SIX managers BEFORE Courtney, did not fire Alicia, so, it should not take a rocket scientist to figure out who is the problem. She said she could not give out the numbers, but, had left a message with them about my, "concerns". Later, she called me back and claimed that I had gone enough times that there would not be any prorate left on the balance. I do not appreciate European Wax Center for bouncing Courtney from the San Tan Village location to the Tempe Market Place location, because she could not work and play well with others, there (funny thing about the internet, things of record NEVER go away), and I do not appreciate Courtney for firing Alicia when six other managers prior had the management skills to not fire her, nor do I appreciate her gatekeeping the contact information for her bosses. But, that's ok, I will find it and let them know what I think.

The manager did my nails and they looked like crap. She didn't paint all the way down and then blamed it on my nail growth. Really?? I've included pictures of the chipped nail on a 6 day old gel manicure and the pedicure done the day before. It makes ZERO sense that she would tell me it was my nail growth when it was her poor work and I was upset about her bad work since the day she did it. They have lost a regular, every 2 weeks, customer because of how the female manager handled the situation. She should have fixed her poor work and done a good job like I paid for.
