We had to move the left items and they gave me grief for requesting a $100.00 credit/rebate. They also "lost" belongings. The other day I was going to give them another chance, and gained quotes for 2 moves....2 locations. I got a lot of confusing information from their rep Regis, mistakes on the quotes, and then a lot of attitude from him as well. When I asked to speak to Santiago I was told "that was a different time"... meaning that the owner no longer talks to customers...he is too big for that now. Never again. Although they were coming from a much further distance (2.5 hours), they were still able to be very competitive on prices and were available the specific day I wanted to move. On the morning of, I learned that they had another job scheduled for their 20' truck so they rented a 24' from U-Haul (no additional cost to me). They were very professional and prepared with tools and blankets. They loaded/unloaded the truck in a timely manner and did so deliberately and securely. I appreciate the great care they took with our possessions and that they used the blankets generously. They were very communicative overall. I will recommend and would use their services again.

We moved a 3 floor townhouse worth of big ticket furniture, boxes, and other odds and ends (such as an elliptical machine) near New Hampshire, to a 3 floor house in Boston. The quoting process and their inventory system process was a breeze to use, which helped them facilite the correct sized moving truck to be used. They were very accommodating with our moving period/schedule. The communication was very clear and concise, with very prompt responses via email whenever we had a question or concern. We honestly set it, and forget it until moving day arrived. The day before moving day, we received the timeframe window the movers would come. Day of the move, the truck and three movers came. They went over the cost breakdown with us again, so that there were no surprises for us (there were none!). We gave them a quick walk-through of our place and what was moving. They formulated their moving plan, and how they'd load the moving truck, and quickly packed up and moved everything into the truck. The movers wrapped up all the big ticket furniture in blankets and taped it to avoid any dents/damage. They were also very polite, and asked for permission, when they needed a quick break (3 flights of stairs is a lot of work!). Once they we done, they drove over to Boston for the unload process. Again, they were very quick and efficient. We went through a walkthrough in the Boston house, for them to formulate what would go where, and off to the races they went. Some of the big ticket items (Queen size beds w/ headboards, antique hutches, dressers), I had concerns about fitting into bending stairways... they were able to alleviate. We had a large L shaped couch, they removed (and later put back on) the legs, and were able to navigate the tight turns going up stairs to make it fit! Once they were done with the move, they went over the cost breakdown one more time before payment (again no surprises from our end with it). I would highly recommend M&M Moving. Everyone we interacted with from their end, during this moving process, was very professional, nice, courteous, and efficient.

To give context, I had a recent cross-country moving experience with an entirely different moving company that left me pretty traumatized from their level of deceit. This was NOT the case with Gentle Giant. They gave me accurate quotes. I was also able to readjust my list of items to be moved, and was reminded it was based on hours. The movers wrapped, prepped, and loaded my furniture swiftly and carefully, and went above and beyond at my new rental when I needed unexpected extra assistance.
