The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice. However I was surprised when the movers showed up in a lawn service open trailer which had been cleaned out. In addition, the posts of the 4-poster were not protected during the trip and I didn't notice the three dings, two on the posts and one on the side rail, until I set the bed up (after they left). The whole bed was in pristine condition before being moved. I had emphasized that to the moving company beforehand; to handle it carefully. i have since filled in the scratches but I wish that they had taken more care withe the bed.

They don't honor their own advertised Veterans' discount…read more I went on-line to find a reasonably priced, local storage facility, to keep some furniture, here in Plymouth, Massachusetts. I came across "Stor-U-Self" Storage, at 8 Natalie Way. They were close-by, clean, and priced similarly to what I was finding elsewhere. They offered a 9'X10' indoor, first floor room for $114 per month, with a promotion for the first two months being 50% off. It's of note that this promotion isn't anything particularly special since I found that the price was very similar to other storage facilities prices for the same size room, and the "first two months at 50% off" promo wasn't dissimilar to the 1st month free that many storage facilities offer. Their website also clearly advertised a 5% discount for Veterans and Seniors (I'm a 62-year-old VA-rated Disabled Veteran). I reserved the 9'X10' room on-line and went over to the facility to look it over and see the room. When I arrived, I met with the Assistant Manager, Jonathan Busby, who took me on a tour of the facility and showed me larger rooms on the second floor (which I declined). He also made sure to show me a "price sheet" and pointed out that I was quoted the "on-line price" because the "in person price" was $239 per month (no such "in-person" pricing was advertised on their website, nor posted at the facility). We also spoke about the advertised first two months being 50% off. He pointed out that when I booked the room, I would pay for the first month and the second month would be free. As part of our ongoing conversation, I pointed out that, while it wasn't quite what was advertised (50% off each of the first two months), it equated to the same thing and that it was no different than many storage facilities do as promotions. Which he acknowledged. When we came back to the Office, I asked about the 5% Veterans' discount that was advertised. Jonathan bantered about not "knowing how to apply the Veteran's discount in addition to the first two months at 50% off promotion". We chatted about the difference between a temporary sales promotion and a stated permanent discount but, ultimately, I was told that Walter Pollock, the Facility General Manager, would likely be able to help me. I waited patiently for Mr. Pollock to finish with two other customers and then he came over to chat with me. He unequivocally stated that they would not honor the Veterans' discount. He gave me a litany of reasons, 1) I was already receiving the "on-line rate", rather than the "walk-in rate" (there is no posted "walk-in rate", only a sheet that they carried around with them), 2) I was receiving the "first two months at 50% off" (a temporary promo, not a permanent discount, and no different than any other storage facility), 3) I didn't confirm, book, and pay for the room on-line, in advance of coming in (the system sends you an e-mail message, instructing you to being in the reservation paperwork to the facility to sign the contract for the room), and 4) "We aren't going to just give the rooms away". I pointed out that, in good faith, I did everything that the website told me to do, I wasn't asking that they "give away" the room, and that "for what amounts to a $6 self-advertised discount, [they were] going to watch business walk out the door". I further indicated that I wasn't trying to be nasty in any way, I simply expected them to stand by what they advertised. Mr. Pollock just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I left the building to bring my business elsewhere.

I like how the owner is present and involved with his customers. The crew showed up on time, with the correct sized truck, supplies, and energy to tackle the day. I was hoping to have enough space for all my items. They even had some extra space to spare as well! Their method of moving and packing was superb. The move went smoothly. The guys took their time to carefully move all furniture and boxes in a timely manner. They worked so hard despite the heat of July. I stopped off and got them some coconut water to hydrate. They deserved it for their hard work! I had a fairly sized treadmill as well. This was an additional charge but they made no complaints and went right to helping take it apart and move it carefully for me. They even helped re-assemble once we got to our destination. My experience reflects many of the one star reviews that I wished I saw before booking them…read more The long story short version: 1. They arrived late and didn't take accountability for arriving late. They were like, "who said we are late?". And they didn't even communicate their ETA to us. 2. No one answered the phone , the morning that our moving service was scheduled and no one reached out to us on when they would arrive. Their contract states that they would reach out with their ETA and no one did. 3. Some of our larger items were bent or broken. 4. Because they were late, they ended late in the day so we weren't able to inspect our items until the next day. 5. Customer service takes ZERO accountability. 6. We agreed with AOA on moving items out of our garage but the day of the moving, their team refused to move it and said that it would void their insurance to move these items (lawn mower, garden supplies, etc). Soooooo we had to hire another moving company the same day and get charged the extra rate for late night and expedited moving services which is expensive. We politely reached out to the company and shared our experience and nothing was done but the company giving us all of these new reasons and excuses for the service. Side note: upon arrival to our house, they were driving fast on our road and damaged our neighbors property.
