I have been storing my belongings here for about 10 years, and I cannot say enough positive comments about the facility and the staff. First, when I sold my large condo in Rochester, I had to use climate and non-climate control units with everything since we did not secure the place we wanted until about 10 months after selling our condo. I always say the place is so clean you could eat off the floor! (I'm not recommending that.) The elevators, easily available carts, etc. mean at the age of 78 I can still easily access my unit and manage what I need to store or remove. I am still with them because I am a self-published author and need a climate control unit for my books. I recently could use a smaller unit for the books as they are selling in local shops around Plymouth. The staff helped me secure a smaller unit on the first floor. I drive from Plymouth to Wareham to use their facility because of the personalized attention to price and my needs trying to keep it as cost effective as possible. Awesome facility, clean buildings and grounds, excellent customer service, family owned and operated--and it shows, the employees are polite, courteous and obviously take pride in their business. I had storage there for over 2 years and never once had an issue, easy in--easy out access. Even though I couldn't afford a temperature controlled unit, they run constant fans in the non-temperature controlled building to keep your stuff in storage as safe as possible. Went to the office of Cranberry Storage January 28th. I was there to reserve and rent two units, one climate controlled and one non climate controlled for a minimal of a year. I indicated that the items were being shipped from Florida in two deliveries from my sister who recently sold her home in West Palm. The girl behind the desk immediately snapped that she could not let me pay for the units. When I asked why I was told it was their policy. She proceeded to treat me as if I were a criminal. When I asked again why such a ridiculous policy she asked me to leave the premises. There are plenty of storage places located in and around the Wareham area, staffed by friendly and courteous people. I made a call, found another location (Wareham Self Storage) who had rates for larger units available at a lower rate than what this outfit was asking and had no issue with taking my money. I would not refer anyone to this place and the owner should seriously consider whom he hires and his rates and policies. read more

In my experience, Cranberry Self Storage is the best run business in Wareham. In 2015 I was moving and needed to store a lot of furniture and household items. My realtor recommended Cranberry because she used it herself while her home was being built. I started with a 10 x 10 unit and gradually worked down to a 5 x 5 unit, which I was finally able to empty out this year (2019). From the start, the Cranberry people were friendly and accomodating. It is a family-run business and they obviously take pride in their service to their clients. I had never used storage before and was so impressed with their large facility. It is so clean and well lit! The climate control really sold me on the place. They even decorate it seasonally. Everyone I brought there to help me move stuff commented on how clean, bright and user-friendly it is. There is a great elevator and they offer the use of carts and other transport items. It is also a very secure facility. I never had a moment's worry about my possessions. Bringing my stuff home after four years, it was all in perfect condition, just as I had brought it in. I really can't say enough good things about Cranberry Self Storage. I found their fees reasonable and it was a very good investment, as all my antiques and family possessions are important to me.
