The first crew, Joshua, Brandon, and Ben, were incredibly polite, deliberate, and careful with the move. They were incredibly flexible and made sure everything was completed quickly and safely. By the end of the two days, I felt as if I should invite them over for dinner, as they not only worked efficiently, but created an uneventful environment at a very stressful time. Everything went smoothly. The second crew, Ray and ?? (I'm sorry but I forget his name), were equally as pleasant. Everything was delivered as expected with no issues to my daughter's home. Nothing was damaged. None of the property was knicked, banged, scratched. I would highly recommend Colony Movers to any friend who needs moving assistance.

The driver was obnoxious, complaining and stomping around, snarling and glowering with teeth clenched, and I told him I didn't appreciate it. He took offense. By the time Colony got here, my husband and I, age 76, were exhausted, working on too little sleep for days. We didn't need complaints from a well-rested prima donna who'd just come back from FOUR DAYS off with pay (long Thanksgiving weekend). Colony couldn't find a substitute driver and crew. Thank goodness, we were able to find a local company that stepped in. Otherwise, we'd have been non-compliant with our closing agreement.

I moved from Boston to Martha's Vineyard last November, and they couldn't have been better. They answered all my nervous questions, mostly in a timely fashion except maybe once or twice, but I called a lot because I hadn't moved in 30 years. As for the move itself, it went smoothly, the guys helped me finish packing when that was not what I'd intended but, oops! I fell behind a bit. They even got my plants down to the vineyard without incident, and I have a ficus, and a 10-foot tree. When they set the furniture down in the new place, they put it down very carefully, so there was no scraping on the floor. Now I'm moving again to another place on the Vineyard, and I immediately called Barnes again.

Valtran did not have an issue with renting a 20' container with an open-ended return! I called them after talking with other storage companies that charged far more and locked you in for additional fees. The container that was delivered was clean and secure. The driver provided recommendations for storage along with placing those little dehumidifier cups inside. Alas, we had a humid summer and some of the items did get some mildew and warping of furniture veneer. That's no fault of the company or container, strictly due to the ridiculous length of time I had it and not assuming it would have been over the summer. Every person I spoke with was cheerful, helpful, and courteous. I recommend them to everyone and if you need a storage container? Look no further than this company! The price is right, they are professionals, and you will be pleased with your decision.

Some had no security features like fences, gates, or cameras, and one actually had the gate open because "it broke last week". I was very impressed with Camelot's facility, staff, security, and new customer specials. The fact that they have someone in the office 50-60 hrs per week along with surveillance cameras monitoring every row of units ensured my possessions would be safe. I rented for 6 months and have nothing but positive feedback for this company, facility, and the manager Deb! As far the reviewer that gave it 1 star and felt "they might as well as left items outside", sounds like "pilot error" to me. Although I did have to adjust the door to my unit to prevent dust from blowing under door gasket I had no issues.
